Dr. Chen has been a consistently excellent doctor for myself, my wife and my father in law. All of us are over 65. We learned about him from another family who also swears by him. He asks good questions, communicates very well, never makes you feel rushed, and is an excellent diagnostician. He involves you in your own care, explaining your options for care as well as the likely pluses and minuses of each option. He does not hesitate to refer you to a specialist, but in my experiences, in most cases, he can provide treatment and suggestions that work without having to see another doctor. When he prescribes a medication or treatment he starts you out on what he thinks is the lowest level that could work, but doesn't hesitate to increase the dosage or try something else if the problem persists. He's especially careful not to over-medicate you. Additionally he and his great staff follow up to ensure the prescription is working well. He's the best doctor I've ever had.
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Chen since we moved to IN 3 years ago. He is excellent in not only care but he cares about him and goes above and beyond for checking on both of us as my husband has alot of problems. I am happy that now that I have got insurance that he covers I will be able to have him as well. Unfortunately for others he is not offering new patients as of now. so I'm very lucky to have gotten in.
I have had Dr Chen as my primary physician for about 20 years. He is caring, thorough, professional and a wonderful caregiver.
He is great! I fired my other doctor who shall remain nameless! Dr. Actually listen and talked with me , looked at my chart and I also filled out 2 questionnaire. Most impressive is I a disabled nurse who worked 38 years, I know a proper head to toe assessment. He a actually touched me. A nurse worth her salt knows the quacks from the feel idea! The lady answering the phone was extremely rude when I tried to make an appointment. Needs better office help.

Dr Chen is an extremely personable doctor. I have had nothing but wonderful appointments with him... He is easy to talk to and I never feel hurried. Dr Chen is one of the best doctors I have seen in 20 yrs.
Dr. Chen and his staff need recognition for the excellent healthcare they provide. The response time for patient needs is extraordinary. What physician's office calls you to go over test results and explains the detail thoroughly? What physician calls his patient to discuss your current situation in detail? The answer is Dr. Chen and his staff! They really care about their patients and their follow up is always there. You are never forgotten. Thanks God we found a great doctor!
