This "doctor" is known through Southeast Wisconsin as being a pill pusher. He will prescribe and OVER prescribe anything a drug addict asks/looks for. He is absolutely at hand for my grandmothers overdose, he was the supplier to all of my family members addictions. It amazes me the state still allows this MONSTER to practice. He has and does continue to enable addicts in their addictions and ruin lives. My brother seen him before prison where a heroin addiction led him, and now just 3 weeks after release he has a appt with this legal drug dealer again! Staff are always nice and very helpful when it comes to scheduling. My doctor (doctor C) wasnr quick to throw a punch of pills at me like othwr docs have. He actually talkes to me for a good 40 min before he asked if I wanted.to try a small dose of a medocation to see if it helped. His knowledge amd the way he explains things to his patience is exactly what I wanted in a doc. Not to mention hea.super nice.and always asks about my husband and kids. Good listener, asks the right questions

Great doctor.. Just don't miss any appt because it's a automatic termination from program for "LIFE" it's hard to find a good psychiatrist. And he is one of the best

I would never advise anyone to visit this quack he had me terribly over medicated and definitely caused me to feel much worse instead of better at one point he had prescribed me 140 mg of Vyvanse every morning when I took that incredibly high dose assuming it would be ok since he was a "Dr"I became so I'll I actually had to call 911 from severe chest pain and confusion the hospital staff could not believe I was prescribed such a high dose if medication I would advise anyone truly wanting to get better to find a different provider I am now under the care of a great Dr and doing much better I wish I would have done this sooner as this man has no regard for human life or well being!! I have been going to Dr. R. Stephen Callaghan, M.D. now for over 10yrs. & have found him to be Very Knowledgeable in his profession along with all aspects of life. He is Compassionate, Empathetic, & above all is an “ALL AROUND KIND GOOD-HEARTED PERSON”. This alone is a quality Rarely found in today’s doctors anymore.

This man is kind and compassionate. It has saved my life multiple times. His true understanding and desire to help shows in his work. Those who say otherwise aren't going to improve their mental well being.. usually to take advantage of the system and not using it as intended. I am alive today because of him giving me the tools and techniques to get the best out of life given my conditions emotionally and the mental battle that makes my emotional battle harder because of my physically ailments... I'm young.. and I will have a lot of things in life others my age can do that I am unable to even try. Dr. Callaghan has done so much for me and helped me over a decade. He gave me hope. He stayed up beat and has helped me keep myself together as I was falling into pieces emotionally... he is human, and I can't help but feel lucky to have someone who wants to help so many others.. when we all have our own problems, issues, demons, and so on.. He gave me back control of my life and pointed out that I never lost it and I did it on my own.... to each their own. In my eyes he's practically a saint. Thank you Dr. Callaghan for believing in me when I didn't.. and always showing me perspective on my perceptions living with my own issues. This man is kind and compassionate. Dr. Callaghan has been the first Dr to finally give us the dx after all these yrs. He is thorough, gentle, encouraging and very understanding. Listens to the pt and the family.

Dr. Callaghan is a friend, but also a kind, compassionate, and caring doctor. A truly dedicated professional, taking great pride and getting great fulfillment in what he does and loves to do:help people. As my doctor, our personal friendship has no interference with his ability to help me through my issues with anxiety, bipolar, and anger. He truly believes in the healing power of what he does and the medications he uses. Not many now can i say the same about. He cares about his patients.

Dr. Callaghan has done a awesome job for my friends, family and me. My son has been seeing him since 2001 for Bi Polar and ADHD and me for 3 years for depression / anxiety. Dr. Callaghan has truly improved our quality of life.
