Dr. Robert Roy Byrne

Dr. Byrne has helped me tremendously. He completed a median lobe TURP and TUIP procedure and it has relieved my symptoms and improved my quality of life. He is a great doctor and I am so happy that I switched to him. He is very friendly and willing to answer any questions that I have also. I highly recommend him.

I just completed a Skype Teleconference call with Dr Byrne to review my biopsy results. I was very impressed with how smooth the process was. Dr Byrne and his staff were excellent on setting the call up and the process was great. It was like I was seeing my Doctor in person. I was happy Dr Byrne offered this service so I would not have to be exposed unnecessarily to the Coronavirus that has taken over the world.

Dr. Byrne has been my urologist for over 8 years now. He has constantly guided me with wise counsel and clear explanations. Last month he performed a transurethral resection of the prostate which was very successful. Biopsies taken showed no cancer, which he was almost as happy to tell me as I was delighted to hear that. He always asks at the end of my appointment if I have any additional questions, making sure I understand his recommendations. I give him the highest rating.

I have had several Lithrotripsy surgeries for my kidney stones.. No Dr has ever crushed the stones into sand like Dr Byrne's.. He has an excellent personality and bedside manor.. He gets to the bottom of the problem and takes care of things as soon as possible.. He is an excellent Dr for Urology and I wouldn't have any other Dr for this care.. I highly recommend Dr Byrne and his Staff are excellent.. I live around an hour away and he is well worth the drive..

I have been suffering from a rather complicated urinary condition that recently involved surgery with Dr. Byrne. The results have been life-altering. The otherwise time that I'd spend in the bathroom every day (3-4 hours) is now mine to use how I see fit, with the added benefit of comfort and max-functionality. Dr. Byrne and his staff are pros. You need to see Dr. Byrne for any type of urinary dysfunction -- cannot stress how competent he is at his trade.

Rob Byrne was recommended by a colleague and personal friend, a survivor of late state prostate cancer, thanks to the quick action of the doctor. For me, his examination and testing was thorough, diagnosis of an active urachal tumor was well- explained and surgery quickly scheduled. The "site" of the long abdominal suture was masterfully completed and no signs of scaring remain. Within a month of surgery, I was in my daily exercise regimen once again

Dr. Byrne is very intelligent, concise and precise in his language, empathetic but not emotional. He is someone you can respect. He and his staff have been wonderful to me. They are extremely cautious and caring and always make sure you have the medicines you need. I was referred to Emory for surgery and found the level of care to be much worse with very little regard for my experience. I developed an infection and Emory would do nothing over the phone but Dr. Byrne's nurses called in a Rx.
