Dr. Robert Brian Berryman

I switched over to Dr. Berryman after being treated by Dr. Bhushan for the past two years. He was a good doctor, but I don’t feel he truly understood my cancer diagnosis of Multiple, Myeloma. I’m very happy with the change I made to Dr. Barryman. He completely understands the side effects I am going through and is able to treat them more naturally versus with more pain pills and other prescriptions. Since starting with Dr. Berryman, I have cut back on the amounts of opioids, tramadol, and even my gabapentin for neuropathy. It has been replaced with THC edibles that Dr. Berryman has recommended. I have received so much relief.

All the medical personnel at this location are extremely attentive to my needs. I am very glad that I am treated at the Sammons location.

He's a very good hematologist/MD! He makes it very plane on what his goals are for the patient and makes it where you understand clearly. Iv seen several Dr's on my cancer path and so far he's the best yet.

Dr. Berryman is very good with explaining your condition and what treatment is needed. Very easy to understand and very informative.

One of every other month follow up of stem cell transplante due to Multiple Myeloma.

Dr. Berryman is a most caring and knowledgeable oncologist. Have been a patient of his for over 12 years. I trust him implicitly.

I trust Dr Berryman and believe he will always work with me to find the best treatment available. I have seen a number of Drs since being diagnosed and I feel like Dr Berryman will always steer me toward my best treatment options but will also consider quality of life and my situation. I feel confident that I have a great team on my side when I see him.

My experience with Dr. Berryman has been excellent throughout the many years i have been in his care. Dr Berryman and the entire team are attentive, caring and kind. They listen and do everything possible to help with recovery from bone marrow transplant.

Dr. Berryman is wonderful at explaining all the ins / outs, progress and procedures. Staff / office over schedules to the point of ridiculousness.

Texas Oncology and specifically DR. Robert Berryman and staff have been so superior in every way over the last few years. I strongly believe that Dr. Berryman is tops in the Multiple Myeloma field and his in depth care with each patient is incredible. He spends much time in each visit explaining all of the treatment results and possibilities as well as diagraming it all out for you on his blackboard where it is easier to understand. Please note that you sometimes have to wait around before he gets to you as he is giving ALL of his patients this same care and time for details and consultation. Dr. Berryman listens to his patients and gives each all the time they need. He welcomes questions as if each and every one of them is important - which they are to a patient. Dr Berryman is an amazing doctor. He believes in fixing the problem instead of masking it with a problem. I would not be where I am told with out this Doctor and his staff. Dr Berryman is an amazing doctor and a great person. He listens and explains each item so patients can understand what is going on. I had a stem cell transplant in 2013 to cure my leukemia and I am still here!

Dr. Berryman was highly recommended to me and after 3 years as my Oncologist for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma I absolutely highly recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Berryman since 2018. He is very friendly and caring Doctor. He is always ready to answer all our questions and concerns. I know that I am very fortunate to have him as my oncologist.

I have been seeing Dr Berryman for a little over 2 years now. I had a Bone Marrow Transplant on 7/25/19. Every visit and the care I get is excellent. Dr Berryman has been there every step of the way. He is a 5 star Doctor and I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Berryman is the most caring physician I’ve ever had. He and his staff take the time to get to know you as a person and make you feel like they genuinely care about you. I never mind if I have to wait if he is running a bit behind because I know that he is giving great care to someone else just as he will to me.

Great Doctor. I lost 2 (yes 2) spleens bursting with excessive loads of leukemia cells. My kidneys also shut down for months, etc. After surgery, Dr. Berryman took over my case and steered me to an perilous recovery. He also guided me through a successful bone marrow transplant once my kidneys regained enough function. A wonderful young donor gave me a new blood type and a decade later, I am the happiest I've ever been. Dr. Berryman is an extraordinary physician and person. He offers his patients the best service possible with care and compassion. Dr. Berryman evaluates all available treatment options for both the betterment of the patient's physical and mental states. He is relentless and never gives up.

It is not difficult to share my respect for Dr. Berryman. I was 70 years old when I was diagnosed with A M Leukemia. My odds of recovery were not good. On the first day we arrived at Texas Oncology, He met with my wife, me and a white board. We had a talk about a cure. We talked about options, but as he explained, there were no options for a cure only one direction, a Bone Merrow Transplant. Dr. Berryman's straight forward approach was just what we needed. We have so much confidence in his ability. He did his part, we did our part and in the end the good Lord rewarded us with success. I am now two years post transplant and back to work. Dr. Barryman, what can I say? One thing, He and his team saved my LIFE! They are the best! I fired my Fort Worth Oncologist and drive to Dallas to see him. Every doctor should be as caring as Dr Berryman. He has treated my sister for 10 years. I saw him for what turned out to not be a cancer diagnosis. He was just as thorough and concerned as he is when treating my sisters serious cancer.

Dr B Berryman is a really great doctor. I have been his patient since 2011. And let me tell you he’s has taken care of me !!!! His bedside manners are great . He cares about his patients.He explains everything ABC order so you can understand. Dr Berryman takes time with his patients and listen to the concerns and make the best decisions for that patient. There were a number of specialist involved in my son's care that included cardiologist, infection disease specialist, vascular specialist, and a few others; nevertheless, Dr. Berryman corrected some of these other specialist errors after reviewing the charts.
