My wife went to see the staff at the Amite office. All went well therebut the follow up was pathetic. The office called and left a message to call back. More than six calls were made but no one picked up the phone. Several more calls later and finally a call was answered but the person answering could not or would not provide the info but gave a number to call. That number was not answering. Finally after some hours later a person did answer. She had to wait hours in anxiety and nobody gave a hoot.

Had an 8:15 appointment, got in to see the Dr at 8:10. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

I’m a pt of 2yrs+. He excels in All areas of specialty. As a nurse, I’ve wk’d w/ many drs. There’s no one like D Ben. He’ll respectfully listen to All questions & concerns w/ addressing each w/ an understandable response. Bringing an organized list of ques keeps me focused & keeps me from forgetting. I get the most from this accomplished MD w/ >40yrs exp. His care has gone beyond US borders. He treats physical probs w/ individualized care, one takes into acct your mental/emotional wellbeing.

First time customer. Dr. Benson listened to my concerns, gave honest opinions and administered very natural looking improvements. Staff was warm, helpful and not concerned about upselling. Pleasantly surprised to find a great clinic that’s also affordable and close to home. Gals up front even touch up your makeup afterwards. Full service! Highly recommend!

The staff member I saw seemed to be competent. The front end office staff [sic.] conducts business like a slumber party - more Facebook concern than patients. Very poor service, if any, for scheduling at both Ponchatoula and Amite offices. Left on hold for more than five minutes, appointment cancelled by their office - no reschedule. Business must be good - no more from me. Too many other doctors available

I recently visited Dr. Benson for skin spots that look similar to sun spots and was first seen by his nurse practitioner. After discussing the issue with his nurse, I was then told that the skin discoloration was permanent and the pigmentation would never return and there was simply nothing to be done about it. I have recently visited two other dermatologists in the area for a 2nd opinion and was told that I have eczema and the pigmentation would return in a month after treatment. It has.

The doctor took it upon herself to administer filler where she deemed necessary and when I didn't like the results she lied and stated filler wasn't injected in those areas. I went to another doctor who said the filler is there and was horribly administered. She still refuses to dissolve the filler. Do NOT use this office!
