Dr. Robert Sears Baratz

Dr Baratz is the best doctor I have ever had in my 71 years. He literally saved my life 8 years ago. I went to him because I was disgusted with my PCP at the time, who’s specialty was cardiology. After having my first yearly physical, which was very, very thorough, he found I was boarder line diabetic, and my blood pressure was high although I was on medication for that already. I mentioned to him that I had been experiencing some dizziness every once in awhile. He said I could have an underlying heart problem so he referred me to a cardiologist for a nuclear stress test where it was discovered that I had 99%blockage in my LAD, which is the main vessel that Carry’s the blood and oxygen to my heart. I was in St Elizabeth’s in 5 days.I had a stent put in. I had what is referred to as the ‘WIDOWMAKER’ There was also something else he caught a year later, During a chest X-ray he discovered I had an aortic aneurysm and immediately called my cardiologist and I was put on the right medication and instructions of no more heavy lifting and increasing my BPM. Terrible doctor , dont go there. Go anywhere else. Office in Braintree closed anyway.

This guy and his office are a disgrace! They refused to fill out documents or answer calls on prescriptions. He should’ve retired long ago and I wouldn’t recommend him to treat a boil on a rats bottom!

Worst doctor you can deal with, yells at patients, thinks he can play God with you not this person never again he should loose his license!!!

He is the worst doctor I ever had the privilege of dealing with!! He likes to think he is all it till you question him them yells at you and threatens you then calls back saying he is going to fail you don't go to him lawyer was called

ive been going there for appr 3 yrs staff very freindly never any promblems make you feel very comfortable very happy atmosphere mike g weymouth,ma 4 stars

He is the best

Mr Dr Robert Baratz Is one of the most knowledgeable, kind ancaring doctors I have ever encountered, I would be very comfortable referring him to anyone of my friends or family members! I have been going to Dr B now for ten years, and I have gotten to know his office staff/nurses and they are all just as kind an caring as Dr B, if not more!! Because they do deal with quite a lot of people and the front desk is very warm an welcoming! 10 days ago Dr. Baratz questioned my urine sample times, saying "doesn't look real" shaking the specimen cup, and holding it up to the light. Today, I find out that my sample spilled in the specimen packaging to the lab. I now have to go back. But I will not go back to Granite St. location. As one other reviewer stated this practitioner obviously tries to bill more by having more visits, on top of being rude.

I first started at this practice during a severe asthma attack 10 years ago. They handled it perfectly, the doctor, assistants and staff were very professional. Thereafter I made Dr. Baratz my PCP. I have been with them for ten years and the only minor difficult is that it is very popular and there is sometimes a short wait.

I have to say this is the finest doctor I have ever had. Four years back he saved my life. He caught a serious disease that I would have died from within days if not treated immediately. Most recently Dr. Baratz discovered I was suffering from a serious health problem,caught in early stages due to his diligence. This man not only treats the whole patient but his or her loved ones.I trust him completely with my life. One does not need a fancy office to be an outstanding medical professional. A first appointment with Dr Baratz was made three weeks ago for last week. Missed it and called to schedule again, this time with some painful nerve damage that just happened. I already been to the ER and saw an orthopedic for it. Baratz' office found another slot. They told me I had to go to the ER and the orthopedics office to get my records. Never been asked to get my own records before. After setting another appt. Baratz office quickly called back to say there are no new patients taken now and he cannot see me. I fought back a little because I just set two different appts as a new patient. They said he can refuse whoever he wants to. I believe this is because I told them I was in documented pain, why else the quick change in accepting patients? The receptionist was rather abrasive, genuinely incompetent and curt as well. This Doctor has threatened and harassed four women and one man working in a pharmaceutical workplace. Multiple calls of foul language as well as refusing to comply with pharmacy rules.

Dr. Baratz has a great sense of humor, handles emergencies very well and will give you all the information you need. It is rare to find an office that will schedule you so quickly, pulls their own labs to be sent off and takes x-rays there on the spot. To do all that most other clinics you would have to visit 3 different places. The staff is wonderful and always polite and happy. I am glad I found this doctor.

I went in for a DOT physical. I am in perfect health but was given a 3 month card instead of the 2 year card I should have gotten. Obviously the reason is that if they can force me to come back every 3 months they make 800% more money. I will go somewhere else when this 3 month card is up and get the 2 year card. Their loss- I have 10 guys working for me and they will NEVER come here for their cards.

Professional both him and staff kept informed . took a little wait but very well worth it.
