His very experienced & caring . His knowledge with all latest available treatment & medication always making sure to do all necessary & latest treatment available to take care of my husband situation while explaining it to me in way that’s easy to understand.We been with Dr Alter almost 4 years now . Definitely recommend him his a excellent Doctor.

Dr. Alter treated me for a very serious Stage 4 Cancer and I am now in total remission. Dr. Alter is a kind and concerned doctor and I feel he has very good judgment. On my first visit, he took the time to arrange a very complicated biopsy for me on the morning of his flight for a family holiday out of state.

Dr. Alter treats patients with care and concern. His approach to my cancer diagnosis made me feel that I was getting the best possible treatments available. Because of this, I am on my way to better health today!

I am a relative of a deceased patient of Dr. Alter. For over 6 years, we endured his playing with his cell phone, dumb jokes and his lack of attention towards his patient. We trusted him to guide us in proper treatment for my relative's cancer. It was working but the busier Dr. Alter got, the worse the visits became. He never seemed to pay attention to anything we told him. Unfortunately, Dr. Alter cut the visit short and missed the toxic reaction the meds were causing. He died 1 week later.

We're relatives of a deceased patient who was under Dr. Alter’s care. His bedside manner is absolutely abhorrent. Dr. Alter showed total indifference toward his patient, lacked sensitivity, and moreover behaved in an entirely tasteless manner. He made inappropriate jokes, appeared to always be in a hurry, abruptly cut appointments short, and during these short visits often pulled out and played on his cell phone without warning, appearing to ignore us. His silly jokes are an unwelcome annoyance.
