I brought my son to see Dr Amiot for an injury to his foot that happened during football. Every time he entered the room (we saw him a total of 4 times in a matter of 3 months) he had no idea who my son was or why he was there. He flat out said, "I have never seen this injury before and have no idea how to treat it". While I appreciate the honesty, please at least take the time to consult with other physicians and at the very least refer us to someone who could help. He would ask, "Did we already do an MRI?", "Did we try an orthotic", "Yeah you should be fine to wear a shoe now", "Maybe you need surgery, but I wouldn't even know what I would do in the surgery". He would have to read the chart in front of us to even remember why we were there!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I got my son into a different doctor today who immediately took action, had a plan of care and was appalled that Dr Amiot wasted the potential for healing for the last 4 months!

I saw Dr. Amiot for severe arthritis of my big toe which had been causing pain for many years. On my initial visit, he gave me three options, one which was surgery, and told me to think about it. No rush, no pressure, and I truly appreciated that. I decided to proceed with surgery, and could not be happier with the outcome!! Dr. Amiot is both professional and kind, and he was wonderful at explaining the procedure, what to expect, and answering questions. Through the initial visit, the surgical experience, and the follow-up visits, I was very impressed with the care I received, as well as the feeling that I was being well cared for. I had foot surgery with Dr. Rob Amiot in May 2021. I had a few setbacks-extreme stiffness of big toe joint & fx of big toe. Both have basically resolved and I am very happy with the results of my foot surgery. Dr. Amiot is very experienced and knowledgeable in his field. I have had two surgeries now with Dr. Amiot. He is a gifted surgeon who cares about his patients well being and their outcomes. He is very careful with every aspect of healing, and I have had great mobility outcomes both times. I also like that he is kind, funny and a genuinely nice person.

very persable doc

I have been suffering for a year with plantar facitis. Robby Amiot gave me a couple cortisone shots, shoe inserts and might splint. I’m pain free I highly recommend Robby Amiot.

Dr. Amiot performed surgery last week on both feet correcting two hammer/bunion issues and inserting a fusion plate. A week later, I'm in walking boots with minimal pain on the road to recovery. I'm glad I finally addressed these issues and am extremely happy with the care I have received thus far from Dr. Amiot and his staff.

I've been going to Dr. Amiot for years. I have a childhood fear of injections in my feet and he takes his time and is very patient. He talks me through the injections. His patient care is excellent. I've seen him over the years for plantar fasciitis, tendon tear, ingrown toenail. Each time was a great experience.

Wonderful experience! Saw Dr Amiot for arthritis and some numbness in my foot that just wouldn't go away. Recieved a couple completely painless injections in the top of my foot the numbness and pain are gone! Staff was delightful and Dr really cares about making sure you feel better. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dc Amiot off and on for 11 years. I’m very pleased with the care that I received. He was thorough and listened to my concerns about my foot issue. He was able to answer my questions so that I felt comfortable with the treatment he recommended.

My experience with Dr. Amiot has been amazing! I broke my ankle last year of June & it was a pretty bad injury. I thought the worse & that I wouldn't be able to get back to my normal self. Well, Dr. Amiot's surgery was a blessing, from the incisions down to the healing process was amazing. I was very pleased with Dr Amiot’s processes from start to finish. He did such an excellent job with both of my feet to get me up and moving in a short period of time. Little background , I had been suffering from cones n both feet for little over then one year . I tried everything and it did get better only to come back again. Only with time it is gotten worst . I went to see Robby when it was worst and to my surprise , it was better in the first session itself . He made me very comfortable and the session went very smooth . We recommend Dr. Amiot and Aspen Orthopedic. I used Aspen Orthopedic 4 years ago for my ankle surgery and recovery, so I didn't hesitate returning when my daughter needed medical attention for a reoccurring sports injury. We got an appointment the next day and have a plan for recovery for her.

Amazing Podiatrist! He was able to see me SAME DAY for a painful Callus that I have been procrastinating on getting looked at. He did a quick and easy treatment, and by the next follow up date it was completely gone and has not come back since. I have taken both of my kids to see Dr. Amiot for various foot/ankle issues. Below are highlights of our experiences with Dr. Amiot: - my then 15 year-old son was suffering from severe tightness in his heal, which was inhibiting his ability to play baseball. Dr. Amiot examined my son and diagnosed him with Sever's Disease. He did an amazing job explaining the disease to us and instilling a high level of confidence in my son that it would get better very soon. He fitted my son with a brace that was to be worn while sleeping, and within about a week all of the tightness and discomfort were gone. - my then 20 year-old daughter, who is a professional hair stylist, had an extremely painful ingrown toenail. She went to see Dr. Amiot and he fixed the problem immediately. My daughter was amazed by how quickly she went from severe pain to total comfort. Dr. Ambiot was extremely rude and told me he would not help me until I made some reports on my previous doctor for a bad surgery that the doctor did on my foot. He was sick of helping people that went to a wrong doctor and now he has to fix the other doctors work.

I went to Dr Amiot after 3 prior and failed foot surgeries elsewhere. My foot was a mess and made any further procedures much more difficult. However, I needed help to make my foot more functional and reduce the pain. He took on this difficult case and performed my 4th surgery. It has significantly improved my situation.

Such a skilled surgeon. Dr. amiot repaired my foot from a prior surgery that had gone wrong with another doctor. He really takes his time and explains everything! His bedside manner is unmatched! Highly recommend

Unfortunately not a good experience. He was behind and in a hurry. Very short with me. The cortisone shot he gave me did not help at all. His only other recommendation was wearing orthotics, which I had previously purchased from him and did not help either. I paid out of pocket to see him which was a waste of money. He did nothing to help me.

I had heard Robby was a great doctor. My experience was horrible and I felt he was to the point of being Rude. I would not go back here.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Amiot. I had a bad experience with another provider who had performed surgery to remove a large ganglion cyst from the ball of my left foot & left a terrible scar. I was told by a friend to see Dr. Amiot. I'm glad I did. Dr. Amiot was very conscientious, addressed all my concerns and everything turned out wonderful. He removed the cyst and fixed the scar and now I go to him whenever I have problems w/my feet. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Amiot did a wonderful hammertoe surgery for me. Very knowledgeable, answered all my questions. Two days after surgery, I had some weird sensations and the nurse got me in right away, like within an hour of my call. I would definitely recommend Dr. Amiot.

Two years of foot pain, terrible experience with a previous provider, painful cortisone shots & no long term care plan I went to Dr Amit for a 2nd opinion. He immediately identified the cause for pain and identified a care plan that would allow me to resume my normal activities. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the care I got. He was empathetic, thorough and his staff are great. Appointments were easy to get and I was always seen right away. Highly recommend!

I have had plantars faciatis for over 8 years. I have seen Dr. Amiot in the past and he had the injections. Saw him again a month ago. I am so happy that I had the plantars faciatis surgery. Literally, pain free for the first time in years. After surgery, only felt a little sore where the incision was. Nothing in comparison to the pain i was in before the surgery. I just scheduled my next surgery for the left foot. Anyone thinking about the surgery ... you are in excellent hands with Dr. Amiot.

I had 2 incidents of ingrown toenails and saw Dr. Amiot for both. They occurred about 18 months apart. He performed the same procedure on both. The first one has worked out well and I'm confident the one just performed will also work out well.

DO NOT LET DR.AMIOT PERFORM PLANTAR FASCIITIS SURGERY ON YOU!!! He has ruined my life. As a result of his horrible surgical technique, I have toes that are permanently numb and often experience sharp, shooting pain. When I discussed this with him, he denied any wrong doing and said I must have had the boot on too tight. Two subsequent treators opined he breached the standard of care-too significant of a cut of the fascia and damage to my peripheral nerve. So sad he did not take responsibility.

when Dr. Amiot heard my son was having foot problems, and was home for the summer from college and working 60 hours on his feet, he made the time to fit him in the next day and took care of his issue that day. He was very concerned and took the time to explain the procedure and made sure he was very comfortable. I would recommend Dr Amiot to anyone! JoAnne M. Wauwatosa

Saw this guy a few years ago, and he had some residents/students with him, and man alive did this guy berate them in front of me. Lost all respect for him that day as a doctor and as a man. As a doctor, he messed up my bunion, so I don't have one good thing to say.

Absolutely amazing, Dr. Amiot and staff were and still are, so wonderful, clean, Professional, and respond immediately to any questions and or concerns. I was worried about the complex surgeries yet soon found out with the right Surgeon, it can be so worth it!

I had double surgery of midfoot fusion and bunionectomy last month by Dr. Amiot. I cannot say enough good things about him and how everything went. What amazes me the most is him contacting me right away ( even when he was on vacation!), for any questions. I'm doing great and it's appearing very successful!

Dr Amiot is an Awesome doctor/surgeon. He told me what he was going to do, what to expect and what I needed to do to heal properly. Everything went along as planned and my foot has never felt better!!!!!!
