I've been a patient for over 5 years now, and wouldn't trust anyone else when it comes to dermatology. Simply put, she's the best. Always enjoyed my visits.

Some of the young women on her team are not skilled in providing services such as applying and removing medications. During my recent visit the young woman assigned to me repeatedly HURT me by her unnecessarily rough, insensitive treatment. When I asked politely to "do it myself," she responded curtly that I was "being rude." R-e-a-l-l-y. I have cancelled future appointments.

She did a complete exam on my face, then my body. I feel she was very thorough. Medications were called in for the problem, they were called in quick. I had no problem in getting those picked up. Thank you again Dr. Batra!

Very skilled and experienced dermatologist. I came in here with several questions, and she was very thorough. This was my first time coming to Dr. Batra's office, so I must say I was impressed by the fact I didn't have to wait long. Everyone was wearing a mask. I was out pretty fast, and felt confident how she handled my questions.

I saw her today (St. Pattys day). They were able to get me in last minute. I had them do a once over on my body for my annual checkup. I spend a lot of time in the sun so I thought this would be necessary. All was good! She answered a lot of questions and was able to put my mind at ease.

Short wait time. Never have to wait too long to see Dr. Batra which is great. I know shes quite popular but the scheduling people don’t seem to overbook or mess around which I think is great. I’m always in and out pretty quick.

Terrible Doctor, My wife who is disabled went in for a rash on her hands, and the doctor spent 10 secs, then they tried to sell her a $1000.00 facial, 6 weeks later and $450.00, her hands are worse!! The receptionist's are rude and obnoxious, they want more money, that's all they care about!! We are filing a complaint with the California Medical Board and taking this rip-off doctor to small claims court as well!! She can't even cure a rash, who would ever trust her under the knife?? Read the other 1 star review's, they are true, I bet the 5 star review's are planted!!

Takes her time with me, which I appreciate. I also brought my daughter here once because of a problem (that I thought was a problem), but she quickly dismissed it. I feel she takes her time with me and my child, I appreciate her skilled caring work. Thank you.

Always provided detailed examinations. Incredibly knowledgeable in her line of work. I’ve been seeing her on and off for the past 5 years and never once had any problems. Parking is easy too due to where it’s located. Always impressed with her quality of care.

The office of Sonia Batra is much more focused on making money than on delivering good service. Every time I’ve left with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth but this time I won’t be coming back. They quoted me $200 for a small laser procedure which then turned out to be $400 after the slightest add on and next thing I know she says “let’s book your follow up appointment a month from now”. Follow up appointment?! “Yes, most people need three appointments to get the redness removed”. So there I am - quoted $200, but paid $400, with now only 1/3 of the procedure done. I should have known. Their quote for underarm hair removal came out THREE times more expensive than Skincare Remedies - who did an excellent job for 1/3 of the price. The last thing I’ll say is that I was recommended to see Batra, but after a initial visit with her, you’ll never see her again and are being seen by the young girls in her team. First off, know that you can't get an appointment with the doctor, just one of her physician assistants. I guess this is a trend in Santa Monica. Anyway you are charged the same as if you saw a highly trained physician. The whole office is nothing but an add for coolsculpting and creams. Still looking for just a dermatologist, not a medical spa.

I had the same negative experience with Dr. Batra's office staff as many other patients and reviewers. After over a month of waiting for my appointment with Dr. Batra, I found out upon arrival to the office that her staff had cancelled my appointment without any notice or warning. They didn't take a single minute to notify me or to offer me a chance to reschedule. The receptionists were quite rude- not only did they not take the time to reschedule me after this mishap, but promised to call me

She is a irresponsible doctor, she sends her medical patients to her PA and only wants the cosmetic big money maker appointments. If there are serious medical issues it is impossible to get an appointment. Make an appointment a year in advance and she’ll cancel the week before. They take no responsibility when you have horrific reactions to the drugs they prescribe. Irresponsible and terrible experience.

Dr. Batra, I don't understand why you recommend Boots No 7 when it's well known that it's full of harmful chemicals such as many parabens. There has to be a better choice for people who are very health conscious. I would really like to know why you recommend this product. Thank you, Barbara ( In my early 70's)
