Would not recommend Dr Plemmons... She is not normally my doctor my doctor was out on vacation but I needed to see somebody within the practice... I wish I would have waited because her bedside manner was very very poor and her recommendation for a specialist was incorrect based upon my diagnosis. I guess because I wasn't an ongoing patient of hers, my appointment took all of 4 1/2 minutes with her... I was very disappointed will not see her again...

I would 1000% recommend Dr. Plemmons to anyone. I needed an MD having only seen an NP at this same practice in the past and knowing it was time to step it up a bit as I have aged (yikers) and have been having some health issues and needed more knowledgeable and thorough help. It was my first visit with Dr. Plemmons and I had a long list of things to cover so that she was fully aware of my medical history and the problems I had been experiencing since my last visit years ago with the NP. What a patient Doctor with the kindest bedside manner ever!!! She intently listened to my every word, sometimes I have too many, but she showed empathy, kindness, and concern for all of my worries. ALL of the staff were kind, one even got me laughing, just what you need when you are a bit stressed and worried about what is going on with your bod. I left feeling that my every worry had been covered, I was given the time I needed and then some, and was assured that I would be referred to specialists that I needed to see. I'd give more than 5 Stars if I could. An interesting side note.. I was bragging on how awesome my new Doctor is to some friends of mine, said her name, then my friend started laughing because it turns out that Dr. Plemmons is THEIR Doctor as well! They followed her as patients from when she was an NP to when she became an MD at her current practice. Glad she was able to see me as a new patient, thrilled with my choice! I had covid, was in a bad car accident she completely blew me off and wasn’t willing to help at all. She also never called me to confirm about covid and what to do. I’m sorry but I don’t want to go here anymore. She made me feel like my pain and hurting wasn’t valuable.

If your wanting someone to talk to about your problems or you have the flu then she's your lady, if you've just been involved in an accident that's left you with any serious pain, anxiety, or anything that needs real help go elsewhere. She's a good doctor as long as you dont have any real issues you need help with. She's an okay family physician for small check ups and flu shots and the such but I recommend finding a real doctor if you need actual help. Dont even bother making an appointment, find somebody who with listen to you and actually look at your records. Not just wing it every visit based upon her personal views. She takes her time and is very understanding...like the staff also!!

I am very happy I found a primary Doctor that listens and is very understanding. She's easy to talk to and takes her time with you. I cannot recommend her enough.

You will never find a more caring and compassionate primary care doctor anywhere! Dr. Plemmons takes time with her patients and answers any questions they may have. This doctor listens to her patients but is not able to treat you for more that the very simplest ailments. For a doctor that has been in the field this long she is behind the times. Found her personal nurse rude, but the desk staff pleasant and helpful. Test results seem to fall through the cracks or get lost as they are not responded to.

Best doctor ever! Laid back and attentive

We received a referral to Dr. Plemmons from Wellmont Physician Referral service and could not be more pleased. Dr. Plemmons has been caring for our entire family for about two years and her care has been awesome! She listens and provides excellent care. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a family physician!
