Dr. Kathawa is amazing! I couldn't feel like I'm in better hands. My weight keeps dropping with her regimen. She knows her stuff ???????? The office staff is so friendly I can honestly say I look forward to my appointments ???? Never a wait either! I'd highly recommend this office!

Hi everyone, my name is Brandie. I first came to Dr Kathawa in February of 2023. It’s been 5 weeks to date. I was referred by my wonderful Dr. He sent me to her because I came to him about a Gastric Bypass Revision. I had gained about 100 pounds back since 2012. He wanted me to try seeing her first because he knew she could help me. I didn’t know what to expect, but was very hopeful. I was a little skeptical because I always am. My Dr told me she was amazing and to listen to her. He told me about this treatment program called Wegovy and what it does. Pros and cons of side effects and how he thinks it would be a good fit for me. He also said I have to be serious and do my part. He said he trust her and I trust him. I met Dr Kathawa and her staff and they were so nice. Her assistant is so professional. Dr Kathawa talked to me and was so very honest. She didn’t pacify me and I like that. She let me know how my weight was high and exactly what she thought. She asked me if I was serious and what I wanted from this. She then asked me other questions pertaining to my determination and efforts to working hard to accomplish it all. Then she told me what she can do. She then told me I needed to take a test of my body metrics. After everything was done, she gave me a diet plan, exercise regimen, and Wegovy. I respect her so much. She gained my trust. She is amazing and I know she wants me to succeed. I was so determined after my visit with her. I took mental notes on literally everything she told me to do. I’m following it and disciplining myself. I’m a foody, so I didn’t know what to expect. Wegovy is working for me. I’ve lost 10 pounds in 1 month. I’ve followed her diet/exercise plan. She’s given me hope and a new me. I’m so confident that this will work. I’m determined to listen to her and my goal for the next 4 weeks is 15 pounds lol!!! She added more to diet plan and increase in exercise. If anyone is skeptical like I was, don’t be!!! This Dr can and will help you. But you have to want it bad enough!!! No cheat eating, drinking pop, or not exercising. It takes a lot of discipline to get results!!! Dr Kathawa is very kind, but she’s straight forward!! She’s very selective and will help you if you help yourself!! But 1 thing for sure, she got your back!!!! Thank you Dr Kathawa so much for selecting to work with me. I will add pics next review from now March 22nd, to 6 weeks out. Don’t hesitate to seek her out. She’s an amazing person that gets results. She cares about your health and results!!

Dr. Kathawa is very well read and up to date. She sent me for genetic testing and it turned out that my weight gain was from a rare gene causing a hormonal problem. This diagnosis was missed by every other doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Rita Kathawa for a few months now and I absolutely adore this doctor. I am seeing her for weight loss. I started at around 178. I am now at 163.
