I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ellent who over the years, has been patiently and expertly attending to my glaucoma needs. Unlike an earlier review, I have found her office to be very well-equipped and immersed in a beautifully relaxing environment. Visiting the doctor and her staff is like visiting a healing oasis in the midst of Forest Hills Gardens....

Dr. Ellent is a good optometrist. She spends an enormous amount of time to write the patients’ history. However the office does not respond to the patients’ request for renewal of eye drops or copy of progress notes and of tests. Also, it may be that some tests are not properly given in the narrow crowded space where they are performed which is extremely uncomfortable for the patient. Sorry I cannot recommend Dr. Ellent’s practice.

I visited Dr. Ellent during an emergency, having lost vision in my left eye due to a mini stroke, she treated me with the utmost care, and I am still visiting her for routine check ups, She is professional, knowledgeable and if she can't treat the problem, has an excellent source of opthamologists she can refer you to. Office is immaculate, not rushed run very smoothly with the help of her staff. The very best accepts most insurance plans and will work out payments if necessary. I love her.
