Dr. Sasso is a most qualified surgeon. This my third back operation and each has been perfectly handled!!

Dr sasso is top notch he is the best

Treated like I’m the only patient there from the time I get there until I leave. Dr Sasso was a little quiet this time but that’s ok.

Dr. Sasso is an extremely hardworking professional and leader in his field. He has twice performed spinal fusions for me and I could not provide him a higher recommendation.

Dr. Sasso and staff are extremely competent, reassuring and kind

This is my second time with Dr Sasso. First was 4 years ago for multiple issues worst of which was spinal stenosis. Dr Sasso performed a lamenectomy and it has relieved my symptoms. I’m back now for additional treatment to a different part of my back. Everything and everyone here is very professional and friendly. The entire facility is comfortable and clean. Awesome staff! Wouldn’t think of going to another Spine Dr!

Dr. Sasso is simply the best. I have been searching for quite a while. Glad I found him!

My new "go to" back/neck doctor!

There is not a more knowledgeable or skilled surgeon that Dr. Sasso in this hemisphere. How Indiana got so lucky to have him so close to home is a mystery to me. And he is only as good as the team that backs him up which was also top notch. My new C7 is going to help me get back to a normal life. And I can't be more thankful!

Dr Sasso was extremely confident without being cocky. Even though I experience anxiety at medical facilities, he put me at ease. Dr Sasso throughly explained my condition to me and was willing to answer my questions. He was genuinely concerned about my well-being. I am so grateful that Dr Sasso was able to perform my procedure.

Great people I have no complaints about my treatment. I came in serious neck and arm pain and left with Zero pain after outpatient surgery. Great great people. All seamed to genuinely care. Very grateful and happy.

It's been over six months. My sciatica was so bad I could only stand for minutes at a time some days. My results are amazing! I had a bulging disc and spurs in my lower back. My patience for Dr Sasso's extensive testing wore thin, but his prognosis was dead on, and the results were worth the wait. My sciatic pain was nearly gone by the following day. Dr. Sasso and his staff were amazing. Explained everything promptly scheduled my spinal fusion. Prior to surgery I was in so much pain I couldn’t ride in the car, sleep, play with my kids or function the pain consumed me. On the day of surgery I almost couldn’t make the ride there but once we got there at 6:30 am I was walking out pain free by 11 am. I didn’t need the pain medicine prescribed in fact I returned to 3 days later and have had no troubles since! Dr Sasso is the spinal genius and I would recommend him to anyone with a spine! Very pleasant and knows what he is doing! After my fusion, I had minimal pain while in the hospital. He knew I wasn't thrilled about staying in the hospital. So I did everything that was expected of me. Even walked the unit the same day. So the next day, he agreed to let me go home. During the initial consult, he was out of town. However, his NP.rold.me to.come on to.the office. Had my MRI same day and results. He explains things thorough even though I am.a nurse. Which I appreciated. I am now 3 weeks post OP and am walking everywhere. Ditched that Walker in about a.week. I would not have ANY other surgeon operate on my back again! He is AMAZING!

Dr Sasso performed Anterior Cervical Spinal Fusion on my back four weeks ago. I have had pain for over five years and I'm amazed at the results. His surgical skills are wonderful and I had very little pain following the operation. He is a wonderful surgeon

Upon meeting Dr Sasso I was in so much pain I could only stand for 5 min at a time, paying him $4,000 for his services as he refused my Medicare insurance. At my 1st office appt. he was rude and cold. Nine months post surgery when the pain had not subsided, I revisited Dr. Sasso and was greeted with the same cold indifference. He said I would be fine. His support staff was great. 2 months later still in pain, I had lumbar fusion by a DR in different surg. group with steady improvedment.

Dr. Sasso has been a blessing to my son. Through several serious surgeries he has worked miracles. He is the best in the state. He is well worth any wait.

Dr. Sasso is a true professional. Yes, the wait times can be a little long, but your are waiting on the best in the state. They took my insurance and I just had to pay the coinsurance. There were no hidden charges. They even offered a payment plan for the coinsurance charges. I had an L5-S1 herniated disc and Dr. Sasso got me in surgery in under 3 weeks. It was the best surgical experience I've ever had. The surgery center is super clean and everyone there is incredibly patient and caring. You never feel like you are being rushed out. The surgery provided immediately relief and I was back on my feet the next day. I had more discomfort from the surgery wound than anything else. This was my second time seeing Dr. Sasso in 4 years. I was seeing him for a second opinion and I already knew the extended wait time to see him. So for an 11:30 appointment I was taken back to get an x-ray at 1:00pm even through I had brought my MRI that was just a few days old. Now i get to see his PA and explain my symptoms for him to tell the doctor. The PA leaves and returns with the doctor for me to explain 1 more time my symptoms. I would not recommend. Unneeded X-rays, nerve blocks

I had a degenerating disk at C5 and was very fortunate to become part of the M6C clinical trial for an artificial disk. Instead of having a fusion, in a neck brace and out of work for an extended period, I missed only 3 days of work, regained full mobility and could not be happier. Dr. Sasso and everyone on his staff are professional, respectful and very highly skilled. I had conferred with two other surgeons, one at a highly rated orthopedic hospital, and I am delighted to be Sasso's patient

Office staff was not interested in hearing the extent of my problems (Cervical and Lumbar). They were focused on only being able to look at one area and one area only. Once it was determined that I was not a candidate for the disc replacement study there was little interest in my case to the point of making me feel like I was foolish for even coming in for a visit.

I am so grateful to be the patient of this doctor! I have achondroplasia dwarfism, and am 27 years old. It is not uncommon for young people with achondroplasia to require spine surgery because of our narrow spinal columns. Dr. Sasso has taken care of me for over 2 years and I couldn't be happier to have him. He is such a skilled surgeon and has performed 6 successful procedures on me. As well, I appreciate his kindness, genuine desire to see me feel well, and attentiveness to my many questions.

Dr Sasso is simply the best in his profession. One of the best if not the best in the world I would recommend Dr Sasso to anyone who has a spine, cervical need.

Dr. Sasso was professional, empathetic, and explained why surgery was immediately needed. Follow up by him was excellent also. I couldn't have asked for better care than what he gave. Hopefully the office and staff issues have improved since I visited there, but I have absolutely the greatest confidence in Dr. Sasso.

Dr. Rick Sasso truest motive helping people in pain. His true gift is his ability to accomplish that!. At the age of 54, I began to curve significantly more and surgery became necessary. In spite of the invasive nature of scoliosis surgery(and mine was bad, I needed two 9 inch rods and 26 spinal screws) I was able to actually walk 7.2 miles per day after 3 weeks. We immediately shifted our focus to pill reduction. In less than two months I am pill free and walking 3 miles a day!
