Dr. Zimmerman evaluated my spine issues in preparation for a referral for surgery. He listened, did a thorough exam with all the necessary tests quickly, and was decisive in determining that medical treatment wasn't going to help, that surgery was necessary. He was kind, competent, respectful, and acted promptly. I highly recommend him.

Met with Dr. Zimmerman today and he not only explained my condition but my wife's condition as well. They are similar conditions and we now have a much clearer understanding of the causes and affects of our conditions. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Zimmerman and hope that he is able to operate and cure my Hemifacial Spasm.

Dr Zimmerman and his team are phenomenal. I recommend him and his team. Completely consistent, thorough and honest. Explained procedure very well and understandably!

I had a very good experience having a discectomy surgery with Dr. Zimmerman and his caring team. I like his no nonsense personality. The pre-surgery and post surgery care is absolutely superior.

Dr. Zimmerman is the angel that I had been waiting for 14 years of trigeminal neuralgia. He explained everything clearly from the beginning, and after MVD at Mayo Clinic, all I can say is "thank you to the best". There are no words that can describe my gratitude.

Dr. Zimmerman fixed my Trigeminal Neuralgia 12 years ago. He is a great surgeon and would not hesitate to go under his knife again if necessary. Thanks Doc!

Dr. Zimmerman is: DELIGHTFUL!! STELLAR!! TOP OF TOPS!! KIND!! CARING!! THOROUGH!! PERFECTIONIST!! etc. (You may even see a twinkle or two. ????) ???????? Dr. Zimmerman is amazing. He takes time to answer all your questions thoroughly and makes certain you understand the surgical plan before moving forward. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience because mine was absolutely perfect.

So kind and caring re my diagnosis of a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2016. He explained everything that needed to happen when I arrived in the ER

Nothing I can say will do justice. How do you complement the man who saved my life?

Dr Richard Scott Zimmerman is literally a miracle brain surgeon. He took on my cause, which was so complicate-and took it on with such ease and faith. He not only was so logical, full of endless info-but he also had such humor!!! And I loved that!! I was fearless of all 3 brain resections. And the last one done awake-I was excited and giddy. Having a neurosurgeon like him makes it simple to have zero fear. He worked wonders on my 3rd awake brain surgery. I am forever grateful!
