Dr. Richard H Wingert

Dr. Wingert is a competent and caring doctor and his office staff are polite and helpful. I have recently moved to Cape Coral and I am very pleased with his care. I highly recommend Dr. Wingert.

Dr. Wingert and his staff are AMAZING to work with. I came in today in tears, because my ear was in so much pain. I had previously gone to a local urgent care for swimmer’s ear, but woke up in even more pain and numbness in my face and swelling in my neck. I knew at that moment I had to go see the ENT they referred me to, Dr. Wingert. I got there before they opened and waited patiently outside until the doors opened (I didn’t have an appointment). I was in tears explaining to his office staff what I was experiencing due to the amount of pain I was in. They informed me that he didn’t have appointments available until late April, but knew from my desperation that I had to be seen immediately. They worked miracles, spoke to him, and he agreed to see me that morning. Dr. Wingert himself, was amazing to work with. He was gentle on my ear even though he had to suction it out and insert a wick. I was extremely swollen and infected, so I know that the amount of pain I should have felt was much more than what I actually felt. He also took a look at the medications I was sent from the Urgent Care and changed them all to stronger doses since I have a severe infection. Staff was efficient and wonderful. I could not get a appointment for over a month out but they called me within a week with a cancellation. Dr. Wingert was thorough and listened to concerns. Explained everything well and did not feel rushed. Would highly recommend.

Dr Wingert was rushing to see next patient. Didn't give me a diagnosis of my problem even with a CT scan provided. Was very short with me. Very dissatisfied .

I am very happy I saw dr wingert. He resolved an ear issue I had for many years. He was very personable and informative and I would definitely recommend him

I travel from South Fort Myers to Cape to see Dr. Wingert and Ted. Would not change dr. when I moved. Everyone at the office is helpful and kind.

Was sent by my doctor, but this ENT doesn't do surgery or any procedures. He had to send me to ANOTHER ENT. Seemed very odd and a total waste of my time and copay!

Dr. Wingert, MD and Ted Paquin, PA-C along with their staff were outstanding for getting the ball rolling with the best references to aggressively treat my throat cancer. It's something to be said when you are starting out with something nobody wants to hear is wrong with them or a loved one. But, rest assured if they are available and you aren't sure what's going on in your body that falls in their expertise, don't hesitate or even be afraid. They will set you on the right course.
