I always look forward to my visits with Dr Thrasher. His staff is the best, appointments are always on time, and his bedside manners are absolutely spotless! He explains everything with tons of empathy and patience. I love Dr Thrasher!

Wasn’t helpful at all. I came in having repetitive sinus headaches, eye pain, irritation, severe right sinus cheek pain, jaw pain, etc. The doctor answered only 2/3 questions, prescribed ibuprofen and charged me $130 for nothing. Turns out after a CT scan I got at another specialist, I have a protruding bone spur, deviated septum, right sinus cavity completely blocked and will need surgery to fix this. I wish they helped me out more and dug deeper and didn’t dismiss it as something so common and small.

My first visit with Dr. Thrasher went well. He’s very knowledgeable. Before I came to him, I thought i will have to do another ct scan of sinus but he said I don’t need to do that, he can just take a look at my previous ct that was done not even a year ago. And he did what he told me he will do, he said he will call me back the following day, and sure did, I received a call telling me about choices of plan of treatments. I really appreciate that.

Love how Dr Richard Thrasher has always walked us through all our options for our son to understand our next steps should we chose to remove his tonsils. We will certainly be bringing our other kids to see him.

All staff was friendly and welcoming. We were seen for our appointment soon after arriving and Dr. Thrasher was great. Gave us all the information needed for our issues. Awaiting a call back from the office regarding proceeding to our next steps.

Welcoming clinic. The staff was nice and they were quick to process me. Dr. Thrasher is very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable about the conversation we had in regards to my treatment.

Difficulty to get appointment with the doctor. You will be seen with NP for any symptom. You can have 1 appointment for each symptom with NP. Then If she decides you need a procedure, she will schedule appointment with doctor. Non sense.

Dr failed to check my ear carefully and told me to blow it. Got it ruptured. Then he tried to sell me expensive hearing aids.

Dr Thrasher was very engaging with our conversation. He explained what causes sleep apnea and the options out there for treatment. He treated me as if I had been a patient of his for years. I give him 5 stars and will recommend him to friends and family.

ENT, Dr Richard Thrasher, MD preformed nasal surgery for my husband. After having years of problems was finally corrected! No more Deviated Septum and better breathing! He ranks our top Doc as a ENT, surgeon and excellent bedside manner. The Allen, Tx staff are also friendly and professional too!

Requested a appointment four weeks ago. Still no response.

Our experience with Dr. Thrasher was horrible, he came in the room only to tell my mother that she needed an allergy test, he didn’t checked her or reviewed her medical history or medications. Before the appointment they make you do the initial paperwork but it doesn’t matter if you complete it because they won’t even look at it, when she told the nurse about the medications that she was taken even after she already had put them on the paperwork they realized that she needs to stopped some of her meds, they also prescribed over the counter medications and they wrote them on a sticky note, her actual Rx was never sent to the pharmacy, i had called twice leaving voicemails and no one returns the call. Awful experience we will never go back or recommend him. DR THRASHER SAVED MY LIFE. I HAD A NOSE SURGERY. ONE WEEK AFTR MY SURGERY, I HAD A NOSE BLEED. WENT TO ER. THEY DID NOT STOP MY BLEED. WENT BACK TO DR THRASHER THE NEXT MORNING. HE FOUND A HUGE BLOOD CLOT. HE REMOVE THE CLOT ON THE SPOT. HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT TO DO. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH FOR HIS PROFESSIONALISM

Irritating problem in left ear. Dr. Thrasher knew pretty quickly what the problem was and fixed it right then. Went home a happy camper! Would recommend him to anyone experiencing ear, nose, or throat problems!

Surgery was fantastic and there was practically no pain. Doc was very caring and made me feel like I was in great hands. The check ups after were very nicely done as well. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Dr. Thrasher if you have a deviated septum and would like a surgery.

Dr. Thrasher is an excellent doctor. I’ve had experience with some of the other ENTs in our area and Thrasher is by far the best I’ve seen. He is thorough and informed - interested in finding the root of the issue, and not just shuffling you through his office as quickly as possible. My first visit left me feeling great. I felt like Dr. Thrasher was taking his time and listening and being thorough. The plan that was decided on then went out the window when his office did not code my imaging correctly and insurance kicked it back. From then on, I felt like more of a hinderance to his office and what was initially decided as necessary became unimportant, leading to a recommendation to go to a different physician not specializing in what the primary concern was. Working in healthcare myself, I know that this is not how patients should be treated. The office staff is lazy and looking for the easiest way out regardless of patient advocacy, and Dr. Thrasher seems more concerned with surgical patients bringing in more money than a young patient like me. Currently looking for a different physician who will actually help me .

Dr. Thrasher and his staff have been very helpful and friendly. He explained in detail everything that was going to happen during my procedure and was very knowledgeable. His staff is friendly and prompt. I highly recommend Dr. Thrasher.

I went in a year ago to do allergy drops. I saw Dr. Thrasher for a total of 5 minutes then met with the allergist. Despite numerous requests over that year to meet with him again because I didn’t feel like the drops were working, filling out every patient review they sent me, I could never get a call or appointment. It was very clear that the patient reviews they send out about how the drops are working are not even looked at by Dr. Thrasher or his allergists. Overall, the care given at Dr. Thrasher’s office was awful. You won’t really see him and calling to speak to someone is more often than not simply just a series of being past on from one person to another.

Dr Thrasher is the best but so is Dr Paige. She is a caring doctor

Everyone in this office were friendly and made me feel very welcome. The doctor is very caring and explained what I needed to know, taking his time and making sure that all my questions were answer. Wonderful service.

Really appreciate Dr. Thrasher. He helped me get to the cause of my non-stop sinus infections my first year out here. Getting my severe allergy issues under control by using drops has helped drastically.

Dr. Thrasher has taken such good care of my 3 year old son since getting having ear tubes placed a couple years ago. Excellent bedside manner, always knowledgeable, and explains everything thoroughly. Highly recommend!

Dr. Thrasher seemed more than competent and very knowledgeable. I went in complaining of dizziness and sinus issues and he ran several tests. He found nothing that pointed to an ENT problem but did show some possible issues with the central nervous system. He proceeded to tell me that I need to go see a neurologist and that it could be a tumor or multiple sclerosis or nothing at all. I wish he could have been more gentle in his approach to the recommendation because I deal with anxiety issues, other than that he is an excellent doctor. UPDATE: After giving it some thought and reading Dr. Thrasher's response I have updated my review. I've experienced bad doctors and he is not one of them. Suggested to him from my PCP had an earache come to find out it was some blockage he cleared it all up and I could hear great, very kind, very understanding and most importantly great bedside manners not many doctors left like this

I would recommend Dr. Thrasher if you are looking for an ENT. He was knowledgeable and kind. I was seen on time and treated with compassion and respect.

This guy knows what he's talking about, and takes the time to explain whats going on. I went to another ENT and had a sub par experience, I went to see Dr. Thrasher at his McKinney Baylor Scott & White Practice and saw how a ENT experience should be. His staff are outstanding, very pleasant people and easy on the eyes.

Knowledgeable and listens and answers questions. Nice staff and clean office. We had paperwork ready when we arrived and were taken back to a room almost instantly and wait from there was pretty norma. Dr. Thrasher didn’t try to rush us off and went out of his way to explain everything.

Perfect experience. I’m post op day 13 from my thyroidectomy and I couldn’t possibly be more satisfied.

He literally saved my sisters life 2 years ago.Another Dr did her tonsillectomy and 7 days later she began to hemorrhage . He was on call- and drove from home- operated on her and stopped the bleeding. Our family thanks him everyday. He’s a savior

I have been battling an unknown nasal congestion for several weeks and Dr. Thrasher was very cordial and took his time to explain to me what was possibly causing my congestion and recommended several options.
