Dr Sollazzo is a superb physician, skilled diagnostically and always open to a patient's questions and perspectives. I have been his patient for nearly 20 years and trust him so much that I look forward to visits with him - I always learn so much and always come away comforted that I've gotten the best possible care. His great knowledge about traditional and alternative medicine gives greater certainty that he approaches a patient with very wide knowledge. He is board certified in several disciplines, including internal medicine, oncology and hematology, and he has extraordinarily deep, impressive knowledge of anti-aging information and countless anti-aging techniques. He never makes arbitrary assumptions but rather listens carefully to the patient; and Zoom calls with him are very convenient and effective. He consistenty shows great empathy, his staff is consistently helpful, friendly, responsive and efficient, and I'm very glad to have the benefit of his wisdom.

Not a good office to telephone. They will take your details, and then sit back until you decide to plunk down the consultation fee, which isn't little. I couldn't even get someone to phone back, let alone reach Dr Sollazzo himself. This is where my experience ends, but working off that I guess this is a meatgrinder and not so much an office where doctoring takes place. The receptionist seemed not very honest. In the spring of 2018, I was experiencing terrible head pain that didn't feel like a typical headache. For a few months, it would come and go, with additional pain in my arms and hands. The usual over-the-counter meds did nothing. I saw my regular PCP who did bloodwork, but claimed to not see anything out of the norm. However, Sollazzo looked at the same exact bloodwork results and saw that my B12 levels were in the low 200s. Anything under 200 is dangerous. He explained what B12 is and how it works in the human body. He suggested a B12 vitamin, and by the early fall my B12 levels doubled, then tripled, and the pain went away! I still keep in touch to discuss supplements for various health issues. In the spring of 2018, I was experiencing terrible head pain that didn't feel like a typical headache. I’m so glad I found Dr. Sollazzo, the most caring, smart, inquisitive doctor I ever saw. I went to Dr. Sollazzo because my urine appeared white for sometime. The urologist I saw determined my kidneys and bladder to be healthy. He gave no explanation for the white urine. The heart specialists I saw for my heart palpitations determined that I had a one percent chance of ever having a heart attack. They gave no explanation for the palpitations. Dr. Richard Sollazzo is one of most caring, knowledgeable physicians you will ever come across. He is patient and will sit with you for as long as it takes and in a day and age where most doctors seem to not have time to answer questions he will push you in a good way to seek any and every question you may have. In 2016 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I went the conventional route, lumpectomy, chemo radiation. 3 years later I was told my cancer was back and I needed a mastectomy. I asked for a PetScan and was told no, it wasn’t needed with my type of bc (ERPR+HER2- no nodule invol) the chances of metastasis are so low. They were scheduling surgery before I could catch my breath. I felt in my gut this was wrong I needed to be sure before getting surgery. My sister had seen Dr.Sollazzo when she was diagnosed shortly after myself. I schedule my consult with all my reports and questions. after a three hour consult, YES 3 HOURS. He reviewed everything and answered all my questions, gave me questions I didn’t even think of. He ordered my PetScan. My PetScan came back showing metastasis to the sacrum. Dr. Sollazzo saved me from an unnecessary surgery and gave me unknown years of healing by listening and doing what every physician should do listen and ruling out everything before starting any treatment. He listens to his patients he will advocate for you and push you to advocate for yourself, any research out there he has read on it and will pull out a book for you and give you the positive and negatives of it. He helped me to take my power back and confidence that I can heal from this diagnosis. He will call you back and his staff is beyond amazing. They are family Tim & Kerri are always patient, caring, knowledgeable and helpful in anyway they can be. I will be forever grateful and consider Dr. Sollazzo a Gods send and one of my guardian angels on earth. I know I will heal from this and when I do Dr.Sollazzo will always be a major part of this. Dr. Sollazzo is a great man and doctor! He thinks outside the box and is very creative. I knew I would not survive MSK's treatment whereas IPT is not destructive and you can keep your immune system. Somehow I discovered Dr. Sollazzo and by the time I got to him, my tumors had gone from my abdomen, to my lungs and my neck. He saw that I was a little panicked and he placed his hand on my shoulder and said, " I know what you're going through, you're not going to go through this alone I'll be with you every step." I don't think there are many who would have this kind of empathy. Not only that, coming up on 3 years in remission, we still communicate via text practically on a weekly basis regarding practically any medical question I might have. My PCP is a good doctor but I usually run it by Dr. Sollazzo first because he's the smartest man I know when it comes to understanding the interconnectedness of the body. Show me another doctor who would do this? The first oncologist I went to see, all she did was try to scare the hell out of me and to begin treatment right away. Every one in my family has said that if they ever got cancer they were going to Dr. Sollazzo, ONLY! Dr. Sollazzo is a great man and doctor! He thinks outside the box and is very creative. Dr. Sollazzo is a healer…bar none! I’m a Stage 4 cancer patient and I was lucky enough to find him through a cancer survivor friend who heard good things about him at the Annie Appleseed Complementary & Alternative Cancer Therapies Conference. I went through years of chemo and my cancer just kept coming back. Through my own online research and reading, I knew that there were additional therapies beyond traditional oncology alone. So I sought out a more holistic approach. During my first Telemedicine consultation, he took a significant amount of time reviewing my medical history. He also went through a full inventory of all my prescriptions and supplements – bottle by tedious bottle - as well as my diet. He made some great recommendations during that first consultation. I liked the fact that he provided me the recent research studies that supported his recommendations. I took lots of notes. Most importantly, he LISTENED to me. I felt so comfortable after the first meeting that I decided to proceed. In the first 3 weeks of treatment my quality of life was amazing and my cancer tumor marker numbers came down significantly - I was shocked! And then....we hit a plateau – the dreaded resistance. Dr. Sollazzo did some more research and recommended some adjustments to my treatment which started working again immediately. He texts me after treatment to check on me, sometimes multiple times during the week. I always feel that I can reach out directly to him and get a call back within hours. I’ve also made some great friends with other patients - new patients and survivors who still do maintenance treatments to keep the Big C away. We actively share our latest information and support each other. It’s like a family. I’m now close to No Evidence of Disease (NED). YEAH!!! The man is the definition of what doctors should be – highly capable, educated in advanced cancer therapies, and compassionate. I can’t recommend him highly enough! Dr. Sollazzo is a healer…bar none! Dr. Solazzo provides over the top, current information that I can always trust. He is not pedaling anything ever!! Thorough blood tests precede every appointment. He uses them to pin point potential health issues and then takes considerable time to observe how I look , ask how I feel prior and conducts examinations before offering what I consider fantastic information to make me a healthier person. The follow up is the old school CARING type . He is genuinely concerned about me and MY HEALTH. I never get the bums rush because the waiting room is full. I couldn't imagine going through this journey without Dr. Sollazzo and his team (thank you Tim and Peri). I was diagnosed at the start of the pandemic with Stage 1, HER2+ (and hormone positive) breast cancer. I consulted with Dr. Sollazzo and also two big name hospitals. The hospital oncologists preached "the standard of care." I did not want the "standard." I wanted something for me. Dr. Sollazzo worked on that for me and opened my eyes to other ways to help my body become healthy again. My blood tests and scans are good, NED. Beating cancer is so much more than an operation and standard conventional treatments. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Dr. Sollazzo was a dream come true in my life. After many years of a physically brutal career in the fishing industry I soon paid the price. After 2 spine, 5 rotator cuffs, & knee I can go on most would find themselves giving up. In fact it was Dr Sollazzo who pulled me through it all. Whether it was for pain, therapy or simply support in listening he has held me together. It is very hard in today’s world to find a Doctor who takes the time and ultimately cares for his patients. Day or night he had been there for both my wife and myself. We love this doctor so much he is now our primary. I have had in the past 9 years many scary health issues. But for the fact that I had Dr Sollazzo by my side the outcomes I am confident would have had a profound negative effect on my life. It is amazing the time he has taken continuous to keep on the right track towards continued health. In addition he has cared for my husband who has had 8 major surgeries and supported both of us throw extremely difficult time and at all hours. Dr Richard Sollazzo is an excellent physician who combines traditional and alternative medicine. He is a highly skilled professional who is board certified in internal medicine, oncology, alternative medicine and multiple other specialties. His extensive knowledge allows him to be an excellent diagnostician and he combines therapies to give superior results. I have been his patient for over fifteen years, and he has treated both of my parents. He discovered that I had mercury and aluminum poisoning and he successfully treated me with chelation, and my symptoms disappeared. He assisted me with my diagnosis of breast cancer, coordinating my care with the surgeon and offering traditional and alternative medicine. This is why I am cancer free still today. With my diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, he offered treatments to help avoid the debilitating effects of this disease. Dr. Sollazzo has saved our family, and for that, I am eternally grateful. He cares about his patients and takes his time on every appointment. His main goal is to kill the cancer cells while preserving healthy cells - a sharp contrast to other cancer clinics that do not make any effort to differentiate between the two. Initially, our journey started at Sloan Kettering, but after seeing the patients there and the freighting side effects, we were horrified and ran straight to Dr. Sollazzo's office. Our initial appointment lasted 3 hours - during that appointment, Dr. Sollazzo gave us his cell number - every patient he treats has direct access to him and receives weekly check-ins from the doctor himself. Even after a successful round of chemo ( with ABSOLUTELY ZERO side effects), Dr. Sollazzo went even farther and sent us to the only facility on the east coast that deals with proton therapy radiation ( It uses protons rather than x-rays to treat cancer). Again, being committed to saving healthy tissue and concentrating on only the cancer cells. Finding him was indeed a miracle, and I wish for anyone else who has a loved one battling cancer to go to him for a consultation. You will not regret it. I had stage 4 NH Large Cell B Lymphoma that was everywhere and had a golf ball size tumor removed from my adrenal gland. I was dying from full-strength chemo. Dr. Sollozzo prescribed a diet that would build back my strength and used traditional chemo targeted with additional natural treatments, including intermittent fasting and vitamin C. His staff is exemplary. They treated me and my family like family. He is 100% reachable and his staff is always available to assist. Laboratory tests are read immediately. I will be celebrating my 3rd year of complete remission in October and I keep in contact with who I know call "Doc". I owe Doc and his staff my life. There is no price tag to place on what he did for me and my family. He asks only one thing of patients, to fight their illness and if you are too weak and want to give up, he will challenge you to fight. He enstills hope for patients around the globe. I am forever grateful for Doc and his staff.

I am a stage 4 cancer patient and Dr. Sollazzo is my oncologist. I would put 10 stars if I could. Dr. Sollazzo is extraordinary in his knowledge of cancer and health care and very caring. His office administrator, Peri and his phlebotomist, Tim, are amazing in every way- efficient, detailed, careful, and very kind. I give HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS to them all. The office has become my home away from home.

Dr. Sollazzo is not only a great doctor but a great humanitarian as well! I found him after having exhausted all other options, I knew if I went to MSK I would not survive the chemotherapy. With the IPT treatment I am in remission coming up on 3 years, plus I got to keep my immune system. Do yourself a favor if you have cancer, at least have a consultation you won't regret it!

Dr Sollazzo is an excellent physician who combines traditional and alternative medicine. He discovered that I had mercury and aluminum poisoning and he successful treated me with chelation. He assisted me with my diagnosis of breast cancer, coordinating my care with the surgeon and traditional and alternative medicine. With my diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, he offered treatments to help avoid the debilitating effects of this disease. He is a very caring physician with a great bedside manner and empathy. The office is beautiful, well organized, with excellent staff. I consider myself very lucky to be treated by this great physician.

Dr. Sollazzo is the most informed, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful doctor. I feel very confident that his advice helped me get through my chemo effectively and now his advice will help me remain cancer-free. He has a very genuine and caring disposition. He allows you an exorbitant amount of time and patiently listens to all your questions and concerns. He systematically goes through every aspect of your healing protocol. He is kind and gracious and up to date on the multitude of medical literature out there. He is extremely supportive and down to earth, and an absolute expert in his field. He has an outstanding bedside manner, and he is a must “go to” doctor for anyone going through cancer. Also, he has a lovely office and an extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Dr. Sollazzo is an exemplary doctor that cares for his patients and holds an incredible amount of knowledge and experience with cancer. He gave his cell number to use on the day of our consultation and has been available during the entire treatment process. It’s very rare to find a doctor that truly wants to eradicate cancer from his patients' bodies and not just follow the standard protocol. If you have cancer or know someone that does, make an appointment. You will not regret it.

Do not visit Richard Sollazzo. It is a waste of time and money. He did not even know what type of cancer my mother had, despite the fact that we had sent him in advance all of my mother’s medical records. I give further details below: My mother has stage IV cancer and is being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering. We made an appointment to see Richard Sollazzo on the referral of a chiropractor. Sollazzo’s office asked us to send them in advance copies of all my mother’s medical records, which were voluminous. The office also had us pay $450 in advance, but assured us that the fee would be reimbursed by my mother’s insurance. On the day of the appointment, we drove 90 minutes to get to Sollazzo’s office. Once we got there, we were informed for the first time that actually none of this would be covered by insurance. We decided to go ahead with the appointment anyway because we had already gone to the trouble of transporting my mother all the way over to his office, and we (my mother’s significant other and I) had taken days off from work specifically for this purpose. As soon as we met Sollazzo, it was immediately clear that he had not reviewed any of my mother’s records in advance. Amazingly, he literally did not even know what type of cancer she had. Within 5 minutes of meeting us, he immediately started to pressure us to consent to a new type of testing called "chemosensitivity testing”, which of course would incur significant additional fees not covered by insurance and paid directly to his office. One of his assistants walked in with a contract and stood there, pointedly waiting for my mother to sign. We later checked with oncologists at Memorial Sloan Kettering, and they told us that this type of testing is “quackery” (their actual words). I stress again that Sollazzo wanted my mother to do this type of expensive testing after he had only been speaking to us for five minutes, without any review of her records to see what kind of testing she had already previously undergone. Sollazzo then went on to recommend dietary changes and kept citing studies about the dangers of sugar. We kept interjecting to tell him that my mother was fully aware of this and in fact had been on a virtually no sugar diet for years, yet he continued to ramble on, trying to give us a bibliography of articles/texts about this topic. He next pulled out a book he had sitting on his desk about vitamin C and suggested that my mother get tested to see if she could tolerate high dosages of vitamin C. Again, that test would entail significant out of pocket costs. After about 40 minutes of his recommending treatments and not taking any actual information from my mother herself, or from her medical records, he finally did a few tests: weight, BMI, fat percentage. These were all extremely basic things that we could have done ourselves, had we simply walked into a Walgreen's or GNC. Sollazzo then continued to ramble on about the dangers of sugar, how mini-fasting could be another type of dietary change, and the need for exercise. The appointment finally ended with him telling us that there was nothing he could do for us until my mother underwent the tests he had recommended. Overall, his recommendations were of zero value and this appointment was an enormous waste of time and money. Anyone seeking further opinions for cancer treatment should see medical professionals who are affiliated with established institutions, rather than visit this man who was clearly only trying to get us to sign on for expensive tests that line his own pockets. His office ought to be closed down. Do not visit Richard Sollazzo. It is a waste of time and money. Dr Sollozzo is a unique breed of oncologists. I came to Dr. Sollozzo with Stage 4 Cancer and full strength traditional chemo was killing me. I could barely sit up when he did an intake with me. He and his qualified staff nursed me back to health. I am in full remission and still speak to him about how to continue to stay healthy, with diet, lifestyle and supplements, with using traditional medicine as a last resort. Dr. Sollazzo is a rare breed. Picture going to your doctor's office with an issue, and having him/her sit with you for an extended period of time, working with you, asking you all kinds of questions about lifestyle and history, and pondering the issue, to figure out why it might be happening, and what might be done to help address the issue. That's how Dr. Sollazzo works. He takes a personal interest in you, and when you're with him, you know it. Couple that with a focus on addressing the root causes of health problems (vs a focus on only fixing the symptoms) and a very thorough examination, and you end up with what is really an outstanding medical experience! I’ve been seeing Do Sollazo for over a year now. He has helped me with my daughters health and I have just recently seen him for my own health. He reads between the lines that most Drs miss. He is a medical genius! . We are all humans, we make mistakes, but having a Dr that is invested speaks 1000 words!

I had one visit with Dr Sollazzo. He seemed like a good doctor. I was waiting for all my tests to come back before scheduling my next appointment. I could not get his staff to follow up with the hospital and labs to get my results. I contacted his office at least 3 times and spoke with his admin and a young man. Both indicated they would follow up and request my results. After not hearing back from his office I went to the hospital and picked up my tests and ended up going to another MD.
