Richard H Sills

Dr Sills was my daughter's physician on one visit to Upstate. He told us we were killing our daughter by living in Binghamton and we should move to Syracuse and if we stayed in Binghamton she wouldn't see 16. On Tuesday she will be 24. She is in the top 8 for gene therapy treatment at the NIH and is very much alive today. Dr Sills may have seen and dealt with many sickle cell patients but we know this sickle cell patient and deal with her every day. Dr Sills only God knows and controls when my daughter's time on earth is done. The difference between God and Physician God knows he's not a Physician!

Dr. Sills was my daughter's oncologist when she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma when she was 18. At the time, Dr. Sills was working at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. Dr. Sills was not only a wonderful doctor, but a very special person who bonded with my daughter. My daughter went on to college and Dr. Sills was instrumental in helping her get into Albany Medical College Physician Assistant Program. We could never thank Dr. Sills enough for saving my daughter's life.
