Had henia surgery nov 2020, have been in pain ever since. DO NOT go anywhere near this guy. he's a hack

Dr. Shinbrot is wonderful!! I had my first visit with Dr. Shinbrot in 2013 when a lump was discovered in my breast. I was terrified!! When I saw Dr. Shinbrot he was very understanding of my acute anxiety. He was calming, reassuring and caring. He took the time to explain what was shown in my diagnostic tests and what his plan was. He answered all my questions patiently and clearly. When the day of surgery came we was very attentive to my concerns, very focused and very professional. I felt that I was in very good hands. I have seen Dr. Shinbrot every six months since then and it is always a pleasure. At each visit he knows who I am, I am not just another patient. His office staff is as exceptional as he is, always friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

I went there for a minor surgery procedure that was done in the hospital for more sterile conditions. I found his office staff friendly and helpful and the doctor helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Shinbrot is clear, concise and very good at what he does. He removed a cyst from my chest and everything went very smoothly. You are in good hands with this man. Also his staff was very professional. 5 stars. See this surgeon if you can

Unprofessional, rude, and made the patient uncomfortable while during the examination

While I feel this Dr. was personable, I compare him to a crook. I had a sebaceous cyst on my chest just larger than a pea. He wanted to admit me to the hospital to remove it!!!!!! I ran from that office fast. I had it removed from another surgeon. It was a 5 min office procedure, tiny, tiny, tiny scar. (there has to be one)

Dr.Shinbrot has done a hernia and gallbladder removal for my husband. Doctor is efficient, professional, easy to talk to and ask questions of. He runs on time, his office staff is exceptional! They are completely on the ball with information, scheduling, insurance matters and all have a welcoming and courteous manner on the phone or in office. I would recommend Dr.Shinbrot to anyone in need for a referral and I would certainly run to him for myself or my husband (but hopefully won’t need to)

Great Doctor!????

I just had a hernia operation by Dr. Shinbrot. The Doctor and his team were outstanding. Feeling very little discomfort and minimal pain. All are very professional with great bedside manner.

I have been a surgical PA for forty-six years and have had the pleasure of occasionally assisting Dr. Shinbrot for the past five years. I have worked with many surgeons both in large and small systems. Dr. Shinbrot is demanding of his staff and is concerned with the excellence of care that his patients are to receive. He is meticulous and plans his procedures and performs his surgeries with precision. I think I presently have a hernia and in the fall I plan on visiting his office and requesting him to perform the surgery rather than fifty other surgeons I have worked with.

Dr.Shinbrot performed hernia surgery for an upper abdomen lump. After surgery, lump still remained and I had stitches above belly button!? I went for a CT and the 'lump' was actually fatty tissue. Dr. covered up his mistake stating he repaired a belly button hernia-(never an issue and unknown to him before surgery). He also said he discussed CANCELLING because he couldn't find any hernia( while I was awaiting surgery). This talk never happened! WARNING:Find a different surgeon b4 it's too late!!

Dr Shinbrot and his office of professionals were extremely proficient, coordinated and forthwith regarding all procedural and billing information.
