Dr. Salvino is attentive and through. Spot on with my diagnosis. My condition cannot be cured but he is successfully monitoring and managing so I can enjoy high quality of life.

I was greeted and checked in kindly upon arrival. My nurses worked well with each other and me to make sure I was taken care of. Dr. Salvino came to talk with me before my procedure and explained everything as well ask if I had any questions or concerns. The whole team was very reassuring and made me comfortable to be in their care. Recovery went smoothly and once I was fully alert Dr. Salvino visited to give me a summary. After that I was able to get myself together and head home. Really can’t thank the Dr and his team enough.

Dr. Salvino has taken care of me and my family for years. He is kind, professional, and proficient in endoscopy and also internal medicine.

A great doctor and staff that made me feel very comfortable after having a double procedure done with no complications or pain. Since I have to have a Colonoscopy done every 3 years, he is my go to new doctor.

My Chart was down for days so I googled Dr Salvino's office in Montrose to try to call direct. Went to the GI page that listed Salvino and under "Contact" it listed Lisa Lawson as the Coordinator. Lisa was rude and acted like I was crazy for thinking she had anything to do with Dr. Salvino. Second try I managed to get through to his office where Stephanie was even more mean and rude than Lisa and just kept shoving me off to the "Auth Office" number. I ended up telling her to cancel my appointment for the following day. I wouldn't talk to my dog the way these two people talked to me. Sad. Dr Salvino is a fine doc as far as clearly being competent at what he does. The only thing I'd note (which not surprisingly other ppl here have mentioned) is he did seem to be impatient, arrogant, rude regarding questions. I get that he does these procedures every day and is no doubt good at them. What he seems to either fail to understand or just simply doesn't care about is that his patients don't in fact do this every day and have questions/concerns and don't need his attitude. Had Dr Salvino responded to me in the way he did this morning in pretty much any other context (say at a store) he would've gotten a 'very different me' and prob would've had a REALLY bad day. Just saying. I feel like being in a surgical gown makes some of these cats forget they're talking to another grown man. That's probably not smart. See you again in 5 years doc. We'll try again and see how it goes. You lose nothing by demonstrating good bedside manner. Food for thought. -M

Waited forever for a call back two phone calls and two days finally a call she was rude and hung up on me changed doctors guess what called and got appt friday

I had to wait a long time, then he spent only about 5 minutes with me, when I was having serious problems. Also scheduled an endoscopy for 2 months out...

I have had only good experiences with Dr Salvino, have never waited long, no problem getting an appointment. And have had all my questions answered

Not impressed, wait time was to long, hard to get ahold of office. And he only spent about 3 minutes with me.

Was unprepared for the appointment I had to wait 4 months to get. Had to wait another 3 months to get an appointment to discuss lab results.

Although I waited a long time to see Dr. Salvino, it was worth it. I understand in healthcare it's hard to put a timeframe on everyone's appointment. Some patients take longer than others and I can respect that. Dr. Salvino took his time with me, answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable. Today was my 7th time seeing Dr. Salvino and I will continue to see him if clinically warranted. Dr. Salvino is a great doctor. TY

Called office to make appointment Anna told the gal what serious problems I was having and needed an appointment asap and she told me they were booking out in Sept. Like she didn't even acknowledge what I just said, totally brushing of the severe condion and told me to call back. Wow!!!!!!

Dr. Salvino has been a great GI dr. He has taken great care of me since Cleveland Clinic took over Akron General. The staff at his office have always been kind and courteous. 500 characters is not enough to fully explain my experience. In my experience the office staff/medical staff and Doctor rush through your questions and concerns. The medical staff lied to me and failed to submit my prior authorization in time for my medical treatment. Dr. Salvino did not feel it was necessary to view my scope notes and pictures ahead of time, even though I called to request that he would do this for me, prior to discussing the next steps in my treatment.

Suffered for years with a stomach/esophagus issue that I had seen 3 different doctors for. Dr Salvino was able order proper testing , read result, give me a diagnosis and start a treatment plan that has ended 20+ years of suffering.

Seems like he is rushed on time when talking to him. Visit is shorter that ten minutes. Wants to get in and out as fast as he can, possibly to get more patients so he can make more of a profit.

Dr. Salvino and the entire staff are friendly and spend the extra time to answer questions and address concerns. I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy yesterday performed by Dr. Salvino. The care I received was top notch. I cannot even tell it happened. No pain, no sore throat. They've already called this morning to check on me and answer any questions I have. I would recommend Dr. Salvino to anyone in need of gastroenterologist.

This guy was awful, rude and arrogant. He would not answer my questions and then charged me twice. You have been warned.

Great doctor, he will take the time to talk to you about your problems.
