Dr. Richard J Rinehart

Referred by another physician. Seemed dismissive of the issues I was referred for. Visit felt rushed. Did not x-ray sinuses or do anything my regular doctor couldn’t have done. Office did not care to review medical records and wanted me to write out all meds and explain why I was there when I arrived for my appointment, even though I specifically contacted to give them access to hospital records beforehand. Then doctor wrote in visit notes that I am a “poor historian.” Apparently, the patient is supposed to be in charge of making and keeping records. No improvement in issue I saw him for and will find another ENT if it continues.

Excellent physician. I've been his patient for almost 18 years. Always listens to my complaints, does a thorough exam, and explains my options. He finally fixed the cause of my endless bloddy noses. Thanks!

First time visit for chronic sinus issues 45+ yrs.). He reviewed my recent sinus CT scan, then examined me. He asked questions and listened to me. He went over my options, many of which I had tried or was trying. He was very candid about how some things simply are due to the way our sinuses and nose respond to heat, cold, allergens, etc. He offered 1-2 things I had not tried, but reassured me that I was doing the right things, even though the symptoms could be bothersome at times. I liked him.

Very friendly and explained the surgery in a way not only I could understand, but also my 11 year old daughter could understand.

I did not like Dr. Rinehart's attitude. He did seem competent but is very dismissive. He did not really listen to what I had to say about my health and gave me the impression that he really didn't want to hear it/ care (I've heard it a thousand times, it obviously must be this, take it or leave it attitude). He talked very quickly and seemed in a hurry to move to the next person. I feel that he is possible sick of working with people and ready to retire.

Extremely arrogant and more interested in bashing insurance companies than servicing clients. Horrible listener and a cowboy mentality. Avoid this physician

I have total confidence in Dr. Rinehart's ability . I have been a patient for over 10 years. I decided it was time I take time to acknowledged his professionalism and good care.

the surgery was fine but the ease of scheduling an appointments was horrible They canceled a scheduled appointment and then pushed me back three weeks - since we weren't having any problems I wasn't in any hurry to get appointment rescheduled - a few weeks later my son developed a double ear infection, no one would see me - ended up in urgent care, no one would see me for two weeks and when I called to confirm appointment - they didn't have it on the books. it got worse but i'm out of character
