Dr. Riegel is an outstanding gastroenterologist and, he has impeccable bedside he manners. He has a great office staff as well. If you are searching for a top notch gastroenterologist look no further because, you just found what you were searching for.

Most punctual doctor I’ve ever had. Explained things well and procedures went smoothly.

Very pleasant and professional. They were prompt and timing was accurate...actually spent less than the stated 2 hours in office. Dr Riegel has great bed side manners and his team were wonderful...Missy was great too and followed up next day.

The staff was wonderful. Everything ran smoothly!

Staff is friendly efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. Dr. Riegel is, as usual, great!

Dr. Riegel has been my doctor for years. As always, he is excellent. Reviews everything and keeps me healthy.

The prep was delicious. The nap is always awesome. The accommodations and apple juice are 5 stars !!! LOL Seriously though I’m 56 now and I’ve been seeing Dr Reigel since I was 32. Can’t say enough about this man and his staff over the years. He probably saved my life !!!! I highly recommend Gateway Endoscopy to anyone needing a procedure. Whenever the topic gets brought up I always speak highly of the Center. I now live an hour and 15 outside of St. Louis and I probably could go somewhere closer but I can’t imagine anywhere else that makes me feel like family. Thanks Dr Reigel and to your staff for what you do. God Bless

As always, Richard Regal was great. He gives you all the time you need. He’s kind, has a good bedside manner, and is an excellent doctor.

Dr Riegel has a wonderful bedside manner. He explained everything before my colonoscopy, and was patient in waiting to answer any questions I had. He immediately showed up following my procedure to explain the results and, yet again made himself available to answer my questions. I never felt rushed. His staff is amazing as well. I'm grateful for being able to have him as my doctor.

Very professional and everyone is friendly and great to deal with.

Good experience except for the page after page of information that they tell me has to be done every year!!

Nurses were great! Compassionate and caring team. Appreciate Dr. Riegel and his team.

This was not as bad of a procedure as I thought it would be. Would highly recommend coming here. Staff and doctors made you feel so comfortable.

Very nice, answered my questions and even touched on some by talking about them before I had a chance to ask. Very professional but not stuffy. He really seems to care what is going on.

Dr. Riegel is one of the best doctors I have even seen, and is hands-down the best gastroenterologist and liver specialist I've ever had. He is friendly, extremely intelligent and caring, and has an excellent bedside manner. He has always taken time to listen to me and explain things to me, and when I've called his office with important questions, it is Dr. Riegel who has called me back. I am never worried about anything when I'm in his care, because he is dedicated to making and keeping his patients healthy and feeling as good as possible. His staff is also very friendly and personable, as are the other doctors at the practice. Any time I've needed to call the after-hours exchange, every single doctor I've spoken with has promptly called me back with a friendly, helpful solution until I'm able to see or speak with Dr. Riegel again. I would recommended this practice and Dr. Riegel wholeheartedly. Dr Rigel is an amazing doctor. I’ve had GI issues for awhile and he doesn’t just jump to conclusions on what “could” be the problem. He listens, he asks questions, and he discusses all options. He is extremely personable, even though I’ve only seen him twice in the past 6 months he remembers all that’s going on and even issues from the past. He takes his time and never makes me feel rushed. He called me to check in after a procedure and again a few weeks later. I’ve never had this type of experience with any of my doctors. The ladies at the desk are always super helpful and kind as well. I highly recommend if you are looking for a GI specialist you reach out to him. Dr Rigel is an amazing doctor. I went to see Dr Riegel in November 2020 for my normal regular colonoscopy. He could not finish the procedure due to a blockage. He sent me to a wonderful skilled surgeon who preformed a colon resection. Dr. Riegel assured me it would be ok and the problem would be fixed and I would be good as new. I went back in June 2021 for another colonoscopy with Dr. Riegel and everything was great. I love the staff and he is a very caring doctor and explains everything to you. I have gone to other doctors and he is well above all the others. I would recommend him to family and friends in a heartbeat.

I had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Riegel today. I cannot not say enough about his kindness and concerns. I have RA and he took time to make sure I felt comfortable before the procedure. Hard to find a Dr. That has his experience and bed size manner. Wonderful Dr.

Was told I had IBS by Dr Riegel after several years being treated by Dr. Riegel with no results, I went for a second opinion. This doctor told me, no one my age is likely to have IBS. I was 80 at the time so I asked about Cologard as an option instead of a final colonoscopy, the scheduler said that medicare would not pay for Cologard, that I'd be better off with a colonoscopy. I appears that they do pay for Cologard, so either it was beneficial to the doctor to do the procedure or they were misinformed. I do not plan to go back.

Dr. Riegel is phenomenal. Any time I call in with a question, he reaches out within an hour with answers. He takes time with his patients and helps you really understand the medical jargon.

Yesterday I had my 6th Colonoscopy (I was on the 43-year plan!) from Dr. Riegel and he was his usual positive and professional self. His staff (I have been to 3 different facilities over the past 15 years) is equally good. HE not only makes me comfortable, but i have an excellent opinion of his ability. He is my wife's doctor and i recommend him and his team to anyone seeking this care. I have never taken the time to write a physician review in the past, but I have to say I am extremely impressed with the outstanding care I received from Dr. Riegel. He took the time to listen to my concerns. He is incredibly intelligent, but more important he took the time to explain what was going on with me and options to improve my health. Working together, I feel better than I have in years. I would highly recommend Dr. Riegel as the best physician I have ever seen.

Dr. Riegel is arrogant and condescending. His colonoscopy prep is terrible and patients with slow digestive systems won’t be cleaned out. He diagnosed me with something another much more experienced GI doctor said I don’t have. All he cares about is staying on schedule.

Most doctors I run perpetually behind schedule. Dr. Riegel runs ahead of schedule. He spent an appropriate length of time with me and ensured that I had no remaining questions before ending the appt. I later called the office with a question. He called back - instead of a nurse or aide. Most unusual these days.

I have been seeing Dr. Riegel for a few years now he has always made me feel comfortable. I had my last colonoscopy on July 23rd. The staff could not have been nicer everyone there was professional without being callus they made me feel very welcome and not like a number in line.
