Dr. Richard M Ress

Dr Ress was my full time primary care MD as well as my rheumatologist from 1987-1999 when I moved away to MA. I was still seeing him intermittently till about 2009 since I was still spending most of my winters in LA CA working as an RN/NP doing travel assignments or other contract work and covering my own primary care practice I sold in 1999 when I moved away. Bottom line Dr Ress was a great physician who took great care of me and my husband Dan. He dx my thyroid condition just briefing eyeballing me when I walked in one day when no one else ever noticed my goiter or other signs & symptoms. He also skillfully treated my juvenile arthritis by kerosene my me stable without unnecessarily drugs or invasive treatments. Overall Dr Ress was also very professional, polite, kind, skillful and behaved like a "real human being"! He never assumed I knew things just because I was also in the health care profession. In addition to explaining things well like to any of his non medically knowledgeable patients, he never talked down to me either... he'd accurately assess what I understood or didn't understand in s very diplomatic way.
