He repaired my congenital mitral valve in 2015...did fine after...doing good today. Scar in chest is 8 inches long... can hardly see it !
Dr Proia and staff, are amazing.. thank you for treating us like family.
30 of 41 days hospitalized. Immediately after open heart surgery, OTHER doctors noted my valve "repair" leaking worse. 2 ER REadmissions, numerous drainage required. Hospital Day 30 Dr. Proia SHOCKED to find me on EMS gurney being transported to another surgeon/hospital for REPEAT surgery. Daily notes shared to Proia--no response nor visit. 3 Med/ Legal Review Boards investigated & sent 'up the chain'...Surg. note, surgery #2 shows first surgery "abandoned" & repeated. NOT RECOMMENDED.
my dad just had surgery with Dr. Proia we are so happy with his work and how he treat my father and also how he treat us as a family. I absolutely recommend Dr.Proia.
Did an outstanding job in my heart valve replacement. Thoroughly explained all options prior to having surgery.
