After struggling for months with double vision, I was referred to Dr. Piccione. He immediately made the correct diagnosis and I was put into a prism lens that solved my problem. I can finally see clearly again. Thank you Dr. Piccone.

Long wait time

Dr. Piccione and the rest of the staff are very patient with my children. Found out my son was given the wrong prescription by his last eye dr. Dr. Piccione was able to get him the correct prescription and he hasn’t complained about his vision since. My daughter has slight vision loss but instead of pushing glasses on her at a young age and spending money on such weak glasses, he spoke to me in great detail about the pros and cons of her getting glasses now vs waiting until her vision worsens. Highly recommend him to anyone. Well worth the hour and 20min drive to his office.

We had an appointment for September and the office called and told us they needed to push his appointment 3 months out due to a new computer system l. I thought it was odd but we went ahead and scheduled a new appt for January 3. The day before his appointment they called and said they no longer accept the insurance. It was clearly calculated and I wished they would have told us in September so we could have gone somewhere else at that point. AND if they were honest and above board we would have told them we have different insurance now and it wouldn’t have been an issue. My child needs his vision screened and we just wasted all this time. I would not recommend this office due to the poor way they handled this situation. And I feel horrible for the other people and parents who also had to experience this.

This was such a great experience! The staff was super friendly! The intake nurse was was amazing and made my daughter feel comfortable. Very clean environment. Dr. Piccione was very kind, patient, thorough, and explained each step of the way for my Daughters appointment. Highly recommend Dr. Piccione and his staff!

Great staff. I know my 4 year old can be a handful and is all over the place. They worked great with him and he was happy and had fun. He is excited for his next visit.

Professional, thorough, awesome! My son used to hate going to doctors offices, but loves to go see Dr. Piccione!

Friendly and compassionate staff; this is important because they make the first impression. Dr. Piccione is to the point. He does not mince words or waste time; if you should be concerned, he will tell you. I appreciate that.

My son began seeing Dr Piccione at 14 months old and is now almost 14!! I trust Dr Piccione and his staff with the health and well-being of my son and his eyes so it was no question when I myself had an issue I was going too!! Very impressed with Dr. Piccione and his staff! We even drive 2 hours to visit his office! They are all very friendly and helpful.

Dr. Piccione along with his incredible staff, having done wonders for my child since she was born, we first came in when Devyn was 8 months old, now she is 11, he treated our family with nothing but comfort along the way, he was able to discover from the moment her saw her that something was not quit right, after doing testing in his office that day, he immediately sent us the next morning for MRI, scans etc. which revealed that she had a large tumor, she was diagnosed with stage 3 Neuroblastoma, he we were transported that day to New Orleans, for a toatal of 10 chemo treatments, we had a long road ahead of us, but she has since remained cancer free, Thank you so much for Dr. Piccione, we are able to be blessed with out healthy 11 year old, Daughter. I’ve been seeing Dr. Piccione since I’ve been 18 months old I am now 19. His office is definitely the best. All his staff are amazing and ready to help. I drive from Texas just to go to the doctor there. I definitely would never go anywhere else.

We had issues with other eyes doctors testing our oldest daughter, our youngest daughter was referred to Dr.Piccione for a tear duct issue at 18 months old. Once we seen him we were satisfied with him and all of his staff Ellen in ABC eye wear and Billie in the front office. Great experience from day one now going on 18 years!

My son has been a patient of Dr. Piccione's since he was 4 months old and now he is 18 years old. Dr. Piccione performed strabismus surgery to correct my son's eye turn when he was only 10.5 months old. It was amazing how once the alignment of his eyes was corrected how much my son started pulling up on furniture and even playing with toys the correct way. From the moment that we began seeing Dr Piccione and his staff, we were made to feel at home. The nurses are so kind, compassionate and were always willing to go that extra step to ensure that I understood everything clearly. My son, who is one years old, had an eye surgery on both of his eyes. You can imagine my worry and concern learning that my baby was going to have to have an eye procedure. It was very scary and I did not know what to expect. The dr, along with his staff answered all of my questions thoroughly throughout the entire process and absolutely made me and my son feel so comfortable. Friendly staff and Dr. Piccione has been amazing with helping our daughter’s strabismus and her overall eyesight!

Dr. Piccione and his staff are fantastic. I have never had an issue with any of my visits. My son has been visiting going on 3 years now and every visit has went smoothly. Dr. Piccione has a great bedside (chair side) manner and is very easy to talk to. The ladies are great at returning phone calls regarding medication refills and paperwork that needs to be filled out!! Would highly recommend Dr. Piccione and his staff (and I already have)!

Dr. Piccione and his staff were amazingly patient with my both of my children during their eye exam. When my youngest started crying, they gave us a minute for her to calm down, they gave her a rubber duck, and the nurse came it to help her calm down. They were absolute angels. I greatly appreciated their kindness and compassion.

We love Dr Piccione and his staff. My 8 year old daughter has been under his care since she was 18 months old. Dr. Piccione saved my eyesight when I was a baby. He told my mom that I needed a surgery that not alot of Dr's specialize in. He reccomended a a Dr. and because of him, my eyesight is 20/20 today.

Highly recommend Dr Piccione! After seeing three doctors, I finally saw him for double vision. He ordered an MRA scan, after an MRI scan showed no concerns. The MRA Scan found an aneurysm behind my eye. He recommended treatment before it ruptured, that saved my life. I thank him and his staff!

Dr Piccione is excellent! I have been going to him since I was in high school for ocular rosacea. He has always been honest with his recommendations and professional opinions. I now trust him with my kids eyes. There is no better pediatric ophthalmologist!

Dr Piccione and all of his staff is phenomenal! We have been his patients for years. He did both my daughter’s eye ???? surgery at ages 2y/o and the other eye at 12y/o. She is 24y/o and has no problems. My 17y/o has been seeing him for 16years. He had cranial surgery at 11months. I shared with Dr Piccione today how his straight forward approach saved my baby boy’s eyesight. He told my 2y/o articulate son who refused to keep his glasses on at the time “if you don’t wear your glasses you will go blind. You have a serious prescription.” My son put his head down and began to rub his head as he looked at his doctor. Since then my son only takes his glasses off to sleep. Dr Piccione has been seeing my children for at least 10 years. He successfully performed a surgery on one of my children at a year old. Her eyes are still perfect. We see Dr Piccione for regular checkups for all four of my children. The office staff is always efficient and courteous.

We've had an amazing experience with Dr. Piccione. My son Greyson is 4 1/2 years old w/significant developmental delays. He's been in physical therapy since he was 10 months old.By his 4th birthday, he had the strength/skills to walk independently, but fear of falling was holding him back. Months ago it became noticeable that one of Greyson's eyes was turning inward. Dr. Piccione straightened his eye with a 20min procedure and 2 days later, Greyson began to walk. We could not be more grateful.

Our four kids have been patients of Dr. Piccione for 9 years. We have three in glasses and two with rare eye conditions and he and his staff have been a blessing to us. We were referred to Dr. Piccione after my 4 year old son was diagnosed with strabismus. He has been so calming and patient when examining my son, who isn't always eager to participate. His willingness to try everything before considering surgery is one of the best things about him. Even though surgery may be the last resort, I'm confident in his abilities to treat my son. His staff is wonderful as well!
