Dr Richard Noto told me he was doing an abdominal exam and then slid his hand up my shirt, flipped my bra off my breast and gave it a squeeze so hard I could see the red marks of his fingertips at the edge of my v neck shirt. While giving me a squeeze he made sure to keep eye contact with me and smile. He then left me to tug my bra back over my breast.

Still a heartbroken 17 year old

I am moved/inspired by the brave Review Poster from May 5th to provide more detail on my original review that stated Dr. Noto removed my bra during an exam.Like the May 5th Poster I was diagnosed with PCOS, and was 17 when my incident happened.I am 35 years old now so a few years older than the other Poster. He also made demeaning remarks about my weight that day, along with sexually suggestive remarks about the clothes I was wearing that day.To top it off, he had me lay down for an "abdominal" exam and then without warning slid his hand up my shirt that I was still wearing. With his other hand he untied the bow that went around the shirt's empire waist and reached up for one of my breasts.Once there, while still under my shirt he flicked my bra cup off my breast with the hand that was under my shirt, and cupped my breast with hands so hard I could see red marks from the top of the v-neck.He left me to put my breast back in my bra and joked about how easy it was to pop my breast out.

I was 17 and very scared when I saw Dr.Noto. My mom was concerned about my amenorrhea. Dr.Noto told me "if I just lost some weight, the boys would be all over me." This sentence has stayed in the back of my head for my teens and twenties. I am 32 years old now. My mom took me to Albany Med where I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. It is controlled now with a healthy weight and diet, however, my self esteem has been impacted by his comments. Please retire before you scar more impressionable girls.

My opinion I STRONGLY WOULD NOT recommend! I’m a just gonna make it simple, since I withdrew My kids from this practice they have been doing very very well, having NOT once having to be hospitalized! The reason my children started attending this practice was due to the choices given it to us from the Hospital once we found out my child was a diabetic but, only wish I had a chance to look at the reviews, prior to my children attending this practice at the appointed time in the past, because had I had the chance to review this practice reviews, my children they would’ve never attended this practice to begin with! Dr. Noto has been caring for my son since he was 5 years old. He was diagnosed with Craniopharyngioma (brain tumor) Later he went into Procosouse puberty and then pushed in growth, after that Adult Growth hormone. In each situation, he met the challenge. He is what our family needed as a Doctor. He was there when we were worried, unsure, confused, and comforted my son when he cried thinking he may not reach the height of his parents and brother. Luke was meant to be no less in height than 6' 1'. He met the height of 5'11' and, which is due to constant blood work and the knowledge that Dr. Noto possesses. For us, he was a great communicator and advocate for my son. He is part of our family, we have moved to Fl and hope to find a person who Loves my son as much as we do. He has become part of our family. Also if you go there with your kid ask him to do his Elmo impression. Thank you, Dr. Noto

I saw Dr. Noto as a young teen when I was referred to him by a medical facility. He treated me for hyperthyroidism, Graves, and Hasimotos. I am happy with his knowledge on his experience on this, but during my time seeing him he also found that I did have thyroid nodules. He did a few ultrasounds and to his supprise he told me the nodules disappeared. He did one more and told me I didn't need anymore to just follow up for the levels (hyperthyroidism). Well after I didn't need any more ultrasounds I was told that I could find and endocrinologist closer to me. Well around 4 years later I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer that spread to the lymph nodes as well as the parathyroid. It was also aggressive and started to mutate in the lymph nodes. After seeing a thyroid surgeon who did a total thyroidectomy and saw that there was so much cancer I had to ask. I asked him how long he thought I had it. He told me about the time or a year before I saw Dr. Noto. I then went on to tell the surgeon about the nodules as a young teen that just disappeared, and he is almost certain that the cancer started from the nodules that never disappeared but became part of the thyroid due to other stuff. I would recommend Dr. Noto on his knowledge of thyroid issue and how it affects individuals, but my own experience with the nodules leading to cancer leads me to believe I wouldn't go there for that again. I saw Doctor Noto when I was a kid. He was the one who helped diagnose me with Panhypopituitarism in 1997, when the illness was largely unheard of and rare. No one knew what it was, but Dr. Noto and his team were able to discover my condition and what was making me shrink, and devise a treatment plan that has kept me alive and healthy. Yes, his office might suck (I too am not a fan of long waits, phone-tag, and rude people), but Dr. Noto himself is extremely competent and knows his stuff. Without him, I would not be alive today, so I am extremely grateful for all the work he's done for me. I've had a hard time finding an endocronologist that's this good as an adult. If you're willing to put up with the administrative and back end B.S., I highly recommend coming here. Going to a competent endo, ESPECIALLY if your child has a rare illness like mine, who will work non-stop until he finds a medical solution/treatment for your child is FAAAAAARRR more important than dealing with an annoying healthcare system/office. I will be honest before going in to see Dr. Noto, who my daughter was referred to by her pediatrician, I was so scared after reading the reviews on here. So scared that I kept my appt but also made an appt with another Dr in another facility and closer to home in case the reviews were right about Dr. Noto. First, let me say that the staff was great to work with over the phone in making appt and with the run around with my daughters pediatrician for results to be faxed over. Once we arrived, the front desk staff were great. The medical assistant was very kind and patient as well. The wait time between sign in, waiting for MA to do vitals and to see Dr. Noto were not long at all. After we met in one room with Dr. Noto to explain to him why we were there he then asked us to follow him to another room where his scribe was in. The scribe very professional and kind as well immediately introduced himself and didn’t make the atmosphere uncomfortable at all. Dr. Noto was very thorough, informative, kind, reassuring, amazingly knowledgeable and easy to speak with. My husband, teenage daughter and I are happy we saw him and happy he will be with us through this journey. I will be referring anyone who needs to him. Thank you Dr. Noto and staff for such a wonderful visit! It took me sometime to warm up to Dr. Noto. He is very knowledgeable and my daughter likes him. Some of the staff on the other hand is another story. First word that comes to mind (that is not R rated) is incompetent. The right hand has no clue what the left hand is doing. No one takes accountability in that office. I think pass the buck is their motto. Little advice, you can be seeing the best doctor in the world, but, when you encounter the non sense, great doctor or not, you wouldn't want to go back. That's an FYI for his office. After weighing the pros vs the cons, the cons win. Will not be back. So if you liked stress and aggravation, then this is the place for you. We met Dr Noto in the hospital when my toddler was first diagnosed. While he was a little off beat he overall was knowledgeable & caring & did some great work with diabetes in his career. However he & his practice of doctors are not up to date with the most current practices or technology which are life changing for little ones & all ages of children/adults with type 1. I advise parents to research! This practice is rigid & old school & will make caring for or living with diabetes way more traumatic & difficult than it should be. There are amazing practices for diabetes in NYC & unfortunately this isn’t one of them. We met Dr Noto in the hospital when my toddler was first diagnosed. Horrible experience trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter. Played endless phone tag. Called back nearly 10 times. Once I was on hold for 10 minutes while I was being transferred to a "new patient coordinator" (seriously?) before someone picked up. Before I could say a word, that person hang up the line. When I finally got through they told me the first appointment was nearly two months away! So I simply hung up... good riddance Horrible experience trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter. Dr. Noto has been taking care of my daughter who is a Type 1 Diabetic for the past 10 years. He has taken excellent care of my daughter and his nursing staff in particular has always been very responsive and there for us during any health crisis. Dr. Noto was kind enough to provide my daughter with his cell number when she recently started college and instructed her to call him in the event of an emergency. She goes to college 200 miles from home and recently had to call him on a weekend when experiencing a health crisis. He was empathic and supportive and guided my daughter through this difficult time. My son is now 12 years old this Feb 2018 and he was only 7 days old when he was in the emergency room in middletown ny dying for an unknow reason the doctors could not figure out. They flew him by emergency helicopter to Westchester County Children Hospital, where my son was very fortunate to have met Dr. Richard Noto who saved my son's life. In my opinion, Dr. Noto is an unbias doctor who treats the parents and the children with fairness and he is one of the most genuine caring person. Dr. Noto is a genious in his medical field. He trully cares and has compassion for all his patients. Everytime I watched Dr. Noto during visits with my son you can see that he really cares about the welbeing of my son and truly knows what he is doing. I worked as a hospital clerk for well over 15 years and worked side by side with many doctors and nurses in different hospitals, and Dr. Noto did not know that, and with all my experience working with doctors, I know doctor Noto is one of the best doctor America is lucky to have. I am sure his staff feels the same way not to mention the parents of his patients. I love Dr. Noto and respect him for saving my son. Another good thing about Dr. Noto is if he sees the parent is not taking care of the child's medical needs he makes sure the parent is reported to Child Protective Services. Because, when I complained about my son's mother not given my son his medicine, many times to CPS and Children Rights Society they were bias towards towards me and did not believe me. Now that the mother has total custody, everybody sees what I have been complaining about. I hope Dr. Noto continues to teach other doctors so they can be just as good as Dr. Noto with their patients. I have taken my two sons to Dr Noto's office for four years. Very bad experience. Should have switch doctors after the first year. At the end of an office visit, he will question the children why they are not growing. He will tell you it is imperative to see the children again within 30 days and then his office will say there are no appointments open for the next six months. The office is rude and will not call in or fax in perceptions. Only after a week of repeated calls (they never answer the phone, you must always leave a message), they will call in the prescription. He was highly recommended by my pediatrician but I feel I let my children down by going to this doctor. I have taken my two sons to Dr Noto's office for four years. Very bad experience. I have nothing wrong to say about Dr. Noto, but the way this office is run is HORRIBLE. I am no longer "under-age" so I wanted to find another doctor - who's closer and for adults - but Dr. Noto wanted to keep working with me.. so I stayed. I couldn't make my last appointment and I ran out of refills on my Humalog. Recently I found a new doctor, but my appointment isn't for another week. I called the office SEVERAL times to have them call a prescription in for me (even if it was just one vial to hold me over until my appointment)... I didn't hear back for days. I called again, but went through a different line. Someone answered and was very pleasant. Left a written message for a nurse and transferred me so I can leave another voicemail. I finally got a call back the next day. The nurse told me she HEARD I needed a prescription for Humalog, but I haven't made an appointment. I asked if anyone ever planned on calling me and at least INFORMING ME OF SOMETHING... I asked if I ran out of medicine and I never heard back, what was to happen? So she put me on hold for about 5 minutes. She came back and told me (and i quote) "I spoke with the head nurse. Technically we would not be endangering your health because you could've just gotten a vial over the counter and out of pocket. But you are endangering our doctor's license by not making an appointment." I told her I have a different doctor that I will have an appointment with next week but I NEED medicine. She told me they'll call one vial in, but she needed the name, address, phone number, etc of the new doctor. I gave it to her ONLY because I need a bottle of medicine..... Anyway, the fact that they wouldn't give me a prescription is understandable... but I believe someone should've at least CALLED ME BACK. I do not recommend this doctor's office to ANYONE because of their HORRIBLE "service"... I have nothing wrong to say about Dr. Noto, but the way this office is run is HORRIBLE.
