Dr. Norem excellent Surgeon. Highly recommend and recommended

I would highly recommend Dr.Norem to anyone!! This man saved my daughters life. I was 7 1/2 months pregnant with her...I had a severe gallbladder attack, in which another surgeon wanted to perform a gallbladder removal. I would let anyone perform anything until I consulted with Dr. Norem. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor !!

My experience with Dr Norem was he was my mom's surgeon. He removed 90 percent of her colon without using a bag and she lived 20 yrs and died of a heart attack. Great surgeon.. talks in details .. lets you ask questions.

At 67 years old, I had given up hope of ever getting my colon rejoined and the bag removed that had been installed over 6 years ago. But Dr. Norem didn't hesitate to try. And he succeeded! He confessed it was a very difficult procedure where he almost stopped, but tried again and managed it. Dr. Norem is a partner with the doctor owned hospital called Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital. That hospital is by far the most professional and well managed hospital in this state. All of their staff are hand picked angels that are dedicated, professional, empathetic and kind. They are like loving family. Best part is after surgery you will stay in a really nice private room that is so quiet clean and restful. I entered there a stranger, but left with dozen new friends. Thank you sincerely Dr. Norem!

The receptionist at the front desk was very rude when we first walked in To many appointments scheduled at the same time on the same day when the doctor has surgeries schedule for that day also. I was with my brother thank his I don't have to go to him.

Very Caring an Professional. Seemed Down to earth an genuinely concerned . Talk to Family before an after procedure an explained in layman terms.

Very good surgeon. Diagnosis’s my condition, preform the surgery and explained the findings. Explained everything to me before he made a cut. Waiting room was small. The reception he has should not be the first person you see. She does not have an inviting personality. Once you get past her everyone else is very pleasant. She will make people has a second opinion about seeing Dr Norem.

Dr. Norem was very competent and will sit down and explain results to you.

Great! He and Dr Buck worked together to determine my problem. They make an exceptional team!

Staff is great. Dr. Too cocky and over speaks his feelings more than addressing your true issues. Going somewhere else.

Although it was obvious that Dr. Norem's office was busy, when he came into the examining room, he acted as though I was his only patient. He was caring and did not act rushed at all. He took the time to explain my situation in a way that was clear to me. He made sure I understood my options, so that I was able to work with him to make an informed decision that was best for me. I highly recommend Dr Richard Norem he is an excellent surgeon. Dr. Norem has a great side bed manor , he lets you know exactly what he plans on doing. Dr. Norem's staff is awesome can't say enough about Dr. Norem and his staff. Thank you so much for all you have done for me and continue to do for me.
