Been going to Dr. Marger for 17 years. The BEST bedside manner and most down to earth likeable Dr. AND person I have ever had the pleasure to know. Highly recommend.

I’ve been with Dr Marger for over 5 years and he has delivered my children. The staff is friendly as well which adds to the overall experience. He is extremely patient, thorough, and understanding. He is more than I can ask for in regards to an OB; and truly one of the best!

I have called several times to make an appointment for my wife, but I never got any reply whatsoever. At first they said it will take up to 24 hours to get a call back to make an appointment and and never received a call back. I called them again and it’s the same thing all over again. Very disappointed with scheduling service.

By far the best doctor! Excellent bedside manner and listens to his patients. He’s extremely personable! I mean it’s like he’s in the customer service industry. Also good at what he does and knows his stuff!

With 20 plus years as a patient, I have experienced numerous office calls, and two surgeries performed by Dr. Marger. Each and every encounter confirms my belief that Dr. Marger is a talented surgeon, an exceptional ob/gyn and a caring professional. Many who post on this site state they "love him" what they mean is they love the "one on one" encouters where they are listened to and where an open and clear communication between patient and doctor occurs. Let's face it girls, it is hard to love someone who put you on the table with your feet up high. Each year I have more and different health problems. The important thing is to find a professional who has not only their field of knowledge but other knowledge, so they can refer you to the best specialist when you need a urologist, or a general surgeon say for a gall bladder removal. You want someone who has seen a variety and treated a variety of common and unusual problems. You might think you want a woman doctor, but what you want and need first is experience backed up with surgical expertise. Especially those of you due to deliver soon. I highly reccommend Dr. Marger and trust him explicity. If you need a C section, have an ovarian cyst rupture or any one of the crazy things that happen to women, skilled professional techniques are needed. Often there is no time for guessing, you need the right surgery done correctly. Excellent

I have been a patient w/ Dr Marger for a few years with a visit about 1 time a year for annual. Recently I learned I had fibroids and I went to Dr Marger for options and help. Since that time I have made contact with that office 4-5 times. The office staff, and his Asst is horrible. Poor Customer Service, bad follow up, and no concern for the patient. Im not sure what happened but the office has went down bad. Dr Marger as a Dr is ok, but his staff and help is a representation of him. Unfortunately I will not come back as a Patient, the service is that poor.

His care is second to none. With 2 extremely high risk pregnancies he was with me every step of the way. And he’s just so darn nice! My baby days are over and I will miss him for sure!

I have been a patient of Dr. Marger’s since 2007. He is caring, compassionate and always takes his time when he is with you. He explains things in detail, listens to your needs and concerns and never rushes. He has performed multiple surgeries on me and I always have had minimal pain and scarring again, because he takes his time. His energy is great and his professionalism is phenomenal. I’ve been seeing Dr. Marger since I was 18 and delivered my 1st baby in 2004. I’m now a mother of 3. He hs delivered all of my babies. I absolutely love him. He is so kind, friendly, understanding... and much more. He has been so helpful over the years. There is no one else I’d trust with my babies, self and etc. He’s amazing!!!

Dr. Marger is the best. I’ve never had a better doctor. My patient experience is beyond excellent, every time. He nurtures his patient relationships, takes time with you, makes you feel cared about, etc. He’s just the best. I’m so blessed to have him in charge of my care. Dr. Marger is the best doctor I've ever had. His personality is unmatched: kind, intelligent, personable, professional, attentive, et al. He takes so much time to listen, learn, and care for his patients. He goes beyond his duties as an OBGYN and truly cares about your overall health. I just love him so much (as does my husband and family who met him during labor with my first child). He's about to deliver our third baby and I'm grateful he's the one I get to go through these experiences with.

As a 14 year patient I would never consider another OBGYN. He is more than that a friend who honestly cares about me. I would highly recommend any female especially pregnant check him out for care.

Dr Marger is amazing! I have been with his office for over a decade and have been nothing but more than pleased ever visit. He even helped diagnosed a blood clot in my leg that I had been complaining about to my GP for months! I highly highly recommend him... that my own daughter and mother go to him.

I absolutely love Dr. Marger. I saw him as I needed to have a hysterectomy and I live in a small, rural town. He is now my regular gynecologist. His bedside manneris Excellent, his timeliness is great and his staff is so nice.

Let's start with "he's the best doctor I've ever had" (not just OB). I am currently in my first pregnancy and went through a couple of OBs, trying to find the best fit. I won't lie, the waiting is a little longer than at a regular doctor, but let me tell you the wait is TOTALLY worth it! Never did I feel pressured, and he took the time to answer every single question (even when I brought him a list with 38 of them). Patient, caring, understanding! He's not a doctor, he's a true friend!

I can't speak for Dr. Marger Richard because I didn't have an appointment with him but I will say this office is a SCAM!!! I had an appointment with Dr. Michelle Birkenholtz on 12/20/2016 for my first two month prenatal appointment where i would hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time and I was denied to be seen. First off when me and my boyfriend walked into the office the vibe was very dry and unwelcoming. I wasn't greeted happily, the office staff wasn't the nicest, nobody was smiling, it was very dry and uncomfortable. After I filled out all the paperwork the lady at the front desk called me back up and asked if I could make the first payment today which I was completely unaware of so she sent me back with the financial lady so we could discuss my options so I thought. Soon as I sat down with the lady she got straight to the point and pretty much said "This is our policy, you have to pay $358 today and every month you come in order to be seen". I was shocked by the amount she stated to me especially since I have Aetna insurance. I didn't have the money at the time but I told the lady I would get my check tomorrow and they could charge my card for the full amount first thing in the morning and she said let me go talk to the doctor and see what she says. So I waited and waited and finally she comes back and says, "so either you can pay the full amount of $2,500 today or you can pay the monthly amount of $358 or we can reschedule you for another day when you get the money but the doctor will not see you without a payment made today"...I was shocked!!! The lady was very rude and not understanding or helpful at all, she also told me "we don't know you because you're a new patient so we don't trust that you are going to actually make the payment". I was disgusted by the way I was treated and how the doctor just completely denied seeing me. I left the office very upset and I started making some phone calls to other doctors offices asking them how much would I have to pay for my first prenatal visit there under my insurance and every single office I called told me I only have to pay my Copay amount on my insurance card which is $35 and I would have my first check up and afterwards they will bill to Aetna and see how much left I will have to pay every month if any. I also told one office what just happened with Dr. Birkenholz and the lady new exactly what office I was talking about and even told me that they charge extra for delivery which makes your monthly costs way more than what it should be and that they are very expensive. I would not recommend Dr. Michelle Birkenholz to anyone or this office in general. The office isn't even nice and clean it looks really old and small like they need to remodel. Thankfully I scheduled an appointment for the next day with another office that is way better and more well known where I only have to pay $35 and I will have my precious baby checked out by doctors who actually care! Dr marger made my first visit very comfortable and put me more at ease and answered any questions I had. I would highly reccomend him to anyone!

I have been with dr. Marger for over 13years now and have followed him through several practices. He is the absolute best. I have sent quite a few family and friends to him over the years and they love him just as much as I do.

Dr Richard Marger is the best OBGYN. He is always great at answering any questions I had, and it was an honor having him bring my son into this world. I recommend him highly to any expecting parents.

Dr. Marger has seen me through two miscarriages and one extremely high-risk pregnancy. Despite the harrowing circumstances I never questioned the expertise or integrity of Dr. Marger. He fought for our lives but also for our dignity. His colleagues all treat him with respect, and he treats them with no more gracious care than he grants his patients. Love working with Marger, the nicest doctor I have ever had, he is super friendly. I would recommend him to anyone. First pregnancy and I am super pleased going to him and definitely makes you feel comfortable during this experience.

probably one of the greatest doctors out there. He really cares about his patients even when they drive him crazy. He is really understanding and makes sure your comfortable. The first thing he says its your body and you tell him whats going on.

He has the best bed side mannor and has always been very professional and helpful when dealing with any of my medical issues.

Dr. Marger is absolutely amazing!! Been a patient of theirs for 20 years and wouldn't consider going elsewhere.

Dr. Marger is fabulous! Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but Dr. Marger is truly worth it. Recently I have had to jump through hoops with my job to complete FMLA type paperwork and Lisa was amazing at getting this done on the same day I brought it in and faxed it the same day to my job. When my job claimed they did not get it, I was able to call Lisa and get right through and she resent it the same day... within minutes! Very satisfied with Dr. Marger and the staff here. Amazing doctor who really cared about me and my baby. I would recommend him to anyone. His medical office staff is great also, but some of the business office not so much.

He has amazing bedside manner, truly cares about me as the patient, and explains every question I may have in full detail. I never feel like he is rushed to get out of the room.
