Mr. Richard Lucarelli

Being new to the area, Dr. Lucarelli took his time w/ both my husband & I. He helped us navigate all the different issues we needed help with. He was kind & patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lucarelli since he began practicing in Duncan. During those approximately 25 years, he has always been attentive, concerned, and thorough. One of the many reasons I have continued as a patient all these years is that he is proactive; he has referred me to specialists when necessary instead of ignoring a potential health problem that needed further review. When my son was killed 32 months ago, he called me to offer his condolences. Some of my relatives didn’t even call. Dr. Lucarelli is a man of honor; he is an excellent physician; he is intelligent; he is compassionate. I am saddened by his upcoming retirement. He will be missed.

He has a bad attitude every time I go see him he is getting worse. My suggestion find another doctor.

He talks more than listens. Told me I did not have Parkinson's despite the fact that my neuro had dx me with it. I think he was out educated in that issue. Always wants to send you for expensive tests even if you do not have insurance to cover them. I had an appt with him and waited for 20 minutes only to be told he had that afternoon off. I needed refills and asked if one of the other drs in the office would write the scripts and was told no. His staff is horrible.

Best doctor ever. Been taking care of my whole family for years. No nonsense, smart, direct, yet down to earth. I love this guy.
