Richard Hee-Jin Lee

I recently had a breast reduction surgery with Dr. Lee and I am very happy with the results. I am almost 70 and I thought that I was too old to have the surgery, but the outcome was better than I expected. I now have no back pain, or sagging breasts. I recovered quickly, the pain level was minimal and the care I received was great. The office staff are efficient, positive and kind. They are very competent and answer questions quickly.

Plastic surgery shouldn't be decided on a whim. Do your research, look at education, experience, surgical skill and artistic vision. I can attest to each of these for Dr. Lee. In addition to excelling in every category, his communication skills and calm demeanor give you the confidence to know you are in good hands. He and his staff are excellent at following up and making sure you are committing to the necessary recovery protocols. I Can’t recommend Dr Lee enough! I am a mom of two little ones and had a c section with both. My last c section left me with a messed up scar and a “shelf pooch.” Dr Lee came highly recommended. Aside from his credentials and amazing work, He has a wonderful bedside manner which is very important to me! Dr. Lee is a top notch surgeon yet he has a gentle bedside manner, understands your goals and is highly skilled in his technique. The outcome is what you would expect from someone who has had his training but the level of compassion is not always accompanied by a Physician, especially of his caliber. Wow! Where do I begin? I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Lee. When I realized it was time to remove my breast implants due to a myriad of BII symptoms, it was important for me to find a skilled plastic surgeon who was not only experienced in the procedure, but was also board certified, and was someone I felt comfortable with. That was where my consultation with Dr. Lee far surpassed any other surgeons I had seen. I appreciated his soft-spoken demeanor, his presentation in his office, which included a slide-show of his previous work and his hand-drawn diagram of what the surgical procedure would entail. I was extremely impressed and felt confident in his abilities. I had a large bust at 34DDD, and I was asking to have my implants removed, a lift, and a reduction. He always answered any questions I had and put my mind at ease. This surgeon is fantastic! Dr. Lee and his team performed a very complicated surgery on my daughter, who had a severe back deformity. The results are remarkable!! We truly feel blessed to have found a surgeon who was willing and able to correct my daughter’s massive back curvature. I would highly recommend Dr. Lee.

After surviving cancer in 2013; however, a fist size tumor completely destroyed my L2 veterbrae and I had reconstructive spine surgery with a titanium support holding my spine together. After years of physical therapy, I was able to return to playing tennis but being somewhat competitive, I played too hard and ended up breaking a main rod causing my support to collapse and fracturing many of my fused vertebraes. Dr. Richard Lee of Newport Orthopedic Institute was highly recommended by one of my tennis friends as he was known for doing complex spine surgery. He performed emergency surgery and replaced the broken hardware and rebuilt a beautiful looking tower (9 vertebrae high). Dr. Lee is completely amazing and stellar in all that he does! I had a breast lift in 2008 and he did such a beautiful job! In 2009, I had a rhinoplasty to thin out and reduce my nose due to acne rosacea and no one, I repeat, no one knew I had it done! It was subtle and just what I wanted. I have had fillers and injectables and Dr. Lee does such a great job to keep me looking natural. The office staff is the other reason I keep coming back! I LOVE Dr. Lee and his staff. I was a size 34GG and I needed a breast reduction. I went to about 6 other consults and no other doctors’ work compared to his. Dr. Lee’s staff is lovely; the office ladies are so kind and patient. I thought my condition was unable to be fixed but nonetheless, Dr. Lee made me look AMAZING! He took me from a 34GG to a 34DD. If you are considering ANY kind of plastic surgery, PLEASE GO TO DR. LEE!!! He is truly an artist with the human body. He is incredible, his staff is incredible, they truly love their patients. Dr. Lee is a miracle worker. It's been 2 1/2 years since my very successful spinal fusion surgery, and I have had zero pain. I went from a 8 or 9 out of 10 pain level before my surgery to no pain at all. I highly recommend Dr. Lee!

I was referred to Dr. Lee by my bariatric surgeon after having lost 125 pounds. During my consultation, Dr. Lee took me step by step through each procedure I was interested in, including drawing diagrams to show me exactly where I could expect incisions to be. I opted to have a lower body lift with fleur de lis, bilateral arm lift, breast lift/augmentation, and bilateral thigh lift. All surgeries were performed over a two month period, which was very taxing on my body, but I wanted to heal and move on as quickly as possible. I had degenerative vertebrates c5,c6,c7 and Dr Richard Lee fix me up. No problems. Had no pain after the surgery the scar was minimal. The results are excellent. Do not go around living with your pain go and see Dr Lee. He don't talk much he's to the point but that's what you need.

I'am two weeks now from the surgery, the surgery site is closed and healing nicely . The only pain meds i took is tylenol and flexeril for about 5-6 days, and that was it. I chose Dr. Lee to perform my breast lift and augmentation after he came highly recommended to me by a couple of my co-workers. He and his office staff were incredibly helpful in answering my questions and gave me very honest advice in choosing the best implants for my body. I felt like Dr. Lee took my requests to heart, but wasn't afraid to offer his professional opinion when necessary. Don't go anywhere else! Dr. Lee and his staff are absolutely amazing. After researching a ton of doctors in the area for a breast augmentation i really liked everything i had seen and heard about Dr. Lee. After my consultation I knew he would be the perfect dr for me. He made me feel really comfortable and there was no pressure at all to move forward with my surgery. He measured my body and told me what size would be perfect for me. I was once a model (in my teens), then came marriage, babies, and my weight sky rocketed up to 275 lbs at my biggest. Dr. Lee and his staff are simply fantastic. From consultation through final appointment, I have found them all to be knowledgeable and very professional. I had an implant exchange and lift by Dr. Lee in October 2013. His education and expertise really helped me with the decisions to be made regarding lifts, implant exchange and size. I felt that he really understood what I was looking for as an end product. And he truly DID. I am 3 weeks post-op and everything is wonderful. The scaring for me is minimal (I have fair skin). I was pretty much glued to a recliner for about 5-6 days. By day 7 or 8, I was moving around the house with relative ease. I have a 3yr old and was able to keep up with him, with the exception of lifting. I followed all of his instructions with meds and wearing a sports bra, so I had virtually no swelling at all. Dr. Lee's staff is very organized and professional with appointment reminders, which I appreciate! The ladies are also VERY knowledgeable, so when I called the office with questions they were able to answer them immediately without even having to consult with the Doctor.
