I really liked Dr. Lee and saw him in the past but something changed and his front office staff are terrible. They don't answer phone calls nor do they contact you back after leaving messages. I can't get ahold of anyone to make an appointment. I had to go to a different Dr to get care. Not worth the hassle.

I had a positive experience with Ben Atwood! He was thorough and easy to talk with. Ben also listened to what I have gone through (it's a lot) and came up with a good game plan to get me better again. Thanks so much, I can't tell you how appreciative I am! I will be recommending this Dr. to family/friends.

Dr. Lee performed a life changing/life saving jaw distraction surgery on my premature baby while he was in the NICU, opening his airway and allowing him to breath and eat normally. Dr. Lee’s expert care and compassion led to the best possible outcome for our son (a complete and total “fix” for my baby’s condition) and I am so grateful for Dr. Lee’s expertise because it allowed us to stay in Idaho Falls, close to home, rather than have to go to Primary Children’s Hospital. The communication, pre-operative planning and post-operative care was absolutely top notch. Our baby is 6 months old now and thriving. Dr. Lee made a terrifying and stressful situation bearable for us and we will always be grateful for what he’s done for our son. I was referred to Dr. Lee for parathyroid surgery. After having a scan for the surgery, Dr. Lee discovered a massive infection in my sinus cavity that needed to be removed before the anything else could be fixed. The sinus surgery was a success and cured many health issues I had for years. After sinus recovery, the parathyroid surgery was done successfully and I am a new woman with a new lease on life. The incision is so well done that it can’t even be seen! I am so happy with Dr. Lee, Ben, and the entire staff. I can highly recommend this doctor.

What can I say … DL is the man (Ben too). I had a deviation with my septum plus had rhinoplasty done and it all went exactly as Doc said it would EXCEPT THE BILLING. I was blind sided with a massive bill from the hospital and anastegoligist for a large amount of $$. I called the billing dept at the doctors office and was told I mis understood he Doc. After speaking with the Doc he did confirm I mis understood the quote. I had asked him if $xxxx.xx was an “all in” price which I was told yes but I didn’t understand that amount was only for him. He did offer to help out if I needed it. Anyhow Doc did great work but I was floored when getting a large bill for what I thought was an “all in” price. I felt DUMB!! OUCH!! Excellent staff!! The doctor and PA are very informative and willing to answer my questions.

I am not a local resident but I had an issue and needed to see him quickly. The staff was very kind. He is a nice man. I trust his opinions. I honestly couldn't tell you how good he is at what he does because I had almost no time to do any research on him before the visit. He was recommended to me by an Audiologist. Overall Good visit. Quick Easy got the result I needed.

I only met with him once and it was fine. Why I am giving the one star review is because of the experience I had trying to get appointments and surgery for my daughter. The receptionists said they would do things like put in the referral for the scans and never did, said they made notes on my appointment and never did, and said they would call me and never did. I had to go back and forth many times to try and get it all sorted out. They kept giving me different information and talked about three different types of scans and could never get the information correct. I finally canceled and decided to go somewhere else because the communication was terrible and left me feeling anything but confident in this office. I know their work does not reflect what Dr Lee can do but their work does reflect on him as a Doctor. Hopefully they can get things figured out. **Edit. The office called me and talked about the situation. Then Dr Lee called me personally and apologized and talked through the changes they will make to make sure this does not happen again. I am very impressed with the follow up and and hoping to see those changes in the future :) I only met with him once and it was fine. Dr. Lee and his staff are all very kind. I am very happy with the results of my cosmetic and medical procedures!

I went to 3 doctors for a lump behind my ear and kept being told it was just a lymph node, which I knew it wasn’t. On my first visit with Dr. Lee he biopsied it, ordered an MRI for the very next morning and a follow up visit just a couple hours after that. I was super impressed with how aggressive he was at finally figuring out what was wrong with me. He was very knowledgeable and compassionate about answering my questions as well as offered up information I wouldn’t have known to ask about. He ended up surgically removing what was a tumor the size of a golf ball. He did an amazing job for me and the scar is barely noticeable. Dr. Lee and his team are exceptionally talented, respectful, and professional. I have suffered from large, recurring mouth ulcers for many years and no doctor has been able to pinpoint a disease or diagnosis, until I met with Dr. Lee! Within a week I had a diagnosis for behçet’s disease, a treatment plan, and the confidence of knowing that what I was going through had a name. Dr. Lee and his colleagues were gentle while performing the biopsy, compassionate while answering my questions, and intuitive about the care I needed to receive. Went in yesterday for my sons first appointment for reoccurring ear infections. Ben and Laura were great. My son, who is 2, typically hates going to the doctor and they were both very good with him. My Experience with Dr. Lee and his staff was exceptional!! Dr lee answered all my questions and set me at ease.... The staff worked with me as in scheduling reminding me, putting up with me calling a lot.... ;) Took exceptional care of me. Highly recommend!!!!!

Can’t say if he’s any good or not. I had a appointment at 1 pm went in sat in the room till 130 and then I left. They think their time is more valuable than anybody else’s. They probably don’t even know I left. Very slow they don’t really care about the costumers Bad for business if you ask me. this was the rigby office a week ago

At first I was really impressed with how quickly I was seen and how to the point he was. By my 2nd appt he basically walked in and said you need surgery see you on this date and walked out. Next to no explanation, just boom done. His office staff knew from conversation that scheduling surgery was going to be a logistical nightmare to cover childcare and time off and farm life. The DAY OF MY SURGERY I get a call saying he has to cancel all his procedures cuz his wife is having a baby. Annoying but understandable baby's have their own schedules. But later find out that he WAS doing procedures on another patient (a friend's son) this day after all. I was told they had no idea WHEN we could reschedule, anywhere from the next day to a month later. It all just feels very impersonal, bordering on unprofessional. Color me not impressed. Hi this is Melissa, Dr. Lee did a turbinate reduction last year. He did it in office . I was awake withy nose numbed up nicely and some vallium in my system. The procedure went well. I came home and my nose bled for maybe...3 hours and stopped. My nose heal up nicely! I was so pleased! Dr. Lee did a fantastic job! This year July, he took care of my deviated septum, removed a bone spur and reduced a turbinate all on the left side. Once again in the office with a very! Numbed nose and 2 "happy" vallium and it went well! He put sutures in inmy nosestead of splints. I came home and slept all night with 2 acetaminophen PM and some valerian root ( an herb to help sleep). The next morning.my nose stopped bleeding and I was up and about .....slowly....anyway. felt like I had been slugged in the nose....but that is to be expected. But wow! It is healing NICELY! Thanks to Dr. Lee, I feel great! He works very patiently and proficiently with each patient to maximize their own patient outcome. I had a septoplasty followed by a rhinoplasty. Dr. Lee was keen on wanting to fulfill my needs (and wants ????) for the rhinoplasty procedure, but beyond the surface I have also never breathed better! He is a master at blending medical with cosmetic procedures to create a better you. He isn’t afraid to take time with his patience for educational purposes either. Dr. Lee and his staff are absolutely amazing. I had him remove a huge polyp out of my nose and the experience couldn't have been any better. It has only been 24 hours and I can breath 99% better than I have in the past 5 years. I saw a bad review for long office wait times on here. I only waited for a few minutes each time I had an appointment but after this experience, I would sit in there for a week knowing that I am receiving the top notch care that they provide. Dr Lee and his staff are exactly how ever office should be. He is a wonderful kind person. He explains everything and doesn’t make you feel like he is in a hurry to get to his next patient. I called lots of times before my surgery asking questions or having to reschedule an appointment and was always treated as patients should be. Thank you so much Dr Lee and staff

My son had to have tubes in his ears. I was very impressed with Dr Lee and the surgery went well. I would have given a higher star rating but when you go in for an appointment and you are the FIRST patient and have to wait 45-50 minutes EVERY appointment just to see the Dr for 5 minutes, is NOT acceptable. I do understand things happen but when it happens at both of my appointments, that's obviously a regular thing. If I was that late for my appointment would the Dr still see me? In addition to waiting, the front desk scheduled my son's post op appointment, I showed up and they didn't have me down and the Dr was out of town that entire week. They didn't even apologize. Dr. Lee is amazing, he is very personable and so kind to children! My son looked forward to seeing him, which obviously makes any surgical procedure so much easier for a child, since those types of situations can be scary. He also does a great job of answering any questions - both from adults and then even at a more simple level to kids! I was most impressed that he so easily diagnosed my son (within two minutes of his initial visit) when 10+ other doctors had completely missed the issue, even after my continual prompting that something was wrong. I will 100% recommend Dr. Lee to anyone needing an ENT in this area. I know they will be in great hands! Dr. Lee is amazing, he is very personable and so kind to children! Dr. Lee/staff have been so incredibly caring and helpful. My husband had an unfortunate accident while we were on vacation near Idaho and Dr. Lee completed his surgery during his hospital stay. Dr. Lee was so patient, caring and understanding. He answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable with the surgery and my husbands recovery. We would recommend Dr. Lee to anyone in Idaho Falls. We had a wonderful experience with him and wish we could continue seeing him if we lived in Idaho!

Dr. Lee is a most compassionate, competent, and caring man. I have two cochlear implants from him and also had my Septum rebuilt. I lost my hearing suddenly in 2012 and from the moment I visited Dr. Lee I knew I was in good hands. I was using Afrin every day for thirty years but since my surgery, I have not used it one time and that was three years ago.In short, Dr. Lee gave me life back. I cannot recommend him enough! I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Richard Lee for my health problem. He removed the right side of my thyroid that had a nodule and striations growing on it, but more than that, I really liked him. He was so thoughtful and kind. He made medical decisions based on what was best for me because he listened. He never made me feel like I was taking up his time. When I met him at the nurses station at the hospital and told him I needed to get home, he didn’t tell me I had to wait but sat there and filled out release forms right away so I could be with my husband who had just had a chemo port installed that morning in a different hospital. When I came in after surgery with other questions, he sat there and answered every one of them before addressing the results of my surgery. Idaho Falls has some great doctors, however Dr. Lee is one of the doctors who stands out above all others. One visit & he knew what was needed to help me. He did surgery & the same day after surgery l felt like a new person. I highly recommend him to all people who are in need of an Ear nose or throat Dr. knows his business & a great bed side manner. I would suggest that you go to him if you need this type of doctor. Easy to talk to with a great staff. U will not be disappointed.

Dr. Lee is great. Unfortunately his office staff treated me like a number. We will not be following up with him due to poor effort on their part to return phone calls after surgery or get prescriptions filled. Almost like once surgery was finished we no longer mattered.

My 2 1/2 yr old daughter was in need of removing her tonsils. Be so young, we were very reluctant. Dr. Lee was easy to work and schedule with. Following her surgery, he even provided us with his personal number to reach him over the weekend if necessary. Very personal and patient. Would recommend him to anyone needing and ENT.

A lovely lovely gentleman with a wonderful bedside manner. Soft spoken and caring. Has the ability to instill calm and trust with a patient. A wonderful physician who saved my husband's life.Meticulous follow-up......A man with a rare gift......of compassion and caring....

After 22 years of very limited hearing in one ear, misdiagnosed by other doctors, Dr. Lee reconstructed my middle ear and I can hear again. He explained and answered all of my questions before the surgery. He is a very competent, gifted and humble man.

I visited this guy twice because my regular ENT was out of town. My bill was $865 for two 10 min office visits. He took a peak in my nose once and wrote me a prescription for antibodies and steroids, that's it for $865...

Dr. Lee comes across as kind and caring, but he wouldn't do anything to help me! After the 3rd $200 visit and the third time of being told "let's just wait and see if it gets better", I am disgusted and going to someone else.

Dr. Lee is truly an amazing doctor. The staff over at East Idaho ENT is awesome! We absolutely love working with them and appreciate their tender care. They come highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Lee and his staff for any Ear Nose and Throat needs. Dr. Lee is very professional and really understands how to connect with each patient under his care. His staff also did a great job helping us feel very comfortable throughout the entire process.
