About Dr. Richard Dominick Laudadio
Reviews for Dr. Richard Dominick Laudadio
I am happy with my first couple of visits with Dr Ladadio. he was very thorough and knew much of my medical history before even seeing me at first as I send records ahead of time and he reviewed them all prior to the visit. He made good eye contact instead of staring into a computer the whole visit like many doctors do. I have chronic medical conditions that need to be monitored very closely and require special medication and frequent labs. I feel very confident he can handle this without referring me all over the place to multiple specialists. He seems quite savvy with the medical field and got my medication approved very quickly. My prior doctor never did this in a timely manner which is why I left her practice. I feel very lucky to get to see him as my primary doctor now and feel I don't have to worry. I am a super anxious person so that says alot. He's been wonderful and caring and made me feel very comfortable, not judged. Wish there were more doctors like him! Bless you
Just had my second visit with Doctor Laudadio this past week. I saw him last month as a new patient as I just moved into the area. Truthfully I had no faith I'd find a doctor as good as my previous one in Connecticut but I was wrong. He's been nothing but amazing getting me set up with all my health care stuff and getting me back on track. I am a complicated patient but he took his time with me on both visits to make sure everything was set up for me (specialists, needed bloodwork, meds and correct dosing schedules, etc. He even got on the phone with my son and daughter to talk them though everything since they both help with my care. I was very impressed with his demeanor, patience and knowledge. His Nurse Arriana was very polite and helpful too. Thank you doctor, my family and I are at ease knowing you are managing my care going forward. I can't recommend him enough! Bless you doctor. ~P.F.
My wife just came home crying after her sick visit with Dr. Laudadio. The doctor only cared about whether my wife had COVID or flu (she is negative for both) and did not attempt to diagnose the actual sickness (she has a lingering cough, sore throat, losing her voice, and our two kids currently have walking pneumonia & strep throat, respectively). The doctor claimed the office doesn't have strep tests (?!), he told my wife she shouldn't have come to see him, and he did not conduct a single test on her (i.e., didn't listen to her breathing, didn't check throat or ears, did not check glands, etc.--in fact he did not even touch her at all). What kind of doctor is this? He has no compassion or even seems to care about determining the illness at all. This is horrifying and despicable. Looking at some other reviews here, it is apparent that others have had similar experiences with Dr. Laudadio. Find another doctor. (Would leave zero stars if that were an option.)
Dr. Laudadio is a extremely compassionate, attentive, and knowledgeable Physician. He makes sure to spend ample time with his patients ensuring that all concerns are addressed and questions are answered thoroughly. He is personable, approachable, and Summit Health is lucky to have him!
outstanding - - it was clear that Dr. Laudadio had reviewed my file before I arrived. He was aware of the results of my blood work and engaged in a clear and concise discussion of the information and next steps. In addition to his obvious preparation, Dr. Laudadio is easy to speak with and welcomed the discussion I sought to have as to a few medical items that were not the specific topic of my visit.
Been seeing Doc Laudadio since he was in Englewood. In fact its been over 15 years since I chose him as my doctor. I followed him since I don't live too far and you don't find doctors like this too often. He is excellent with communication skills and always gives me plenty of time. I never feel rushed. I am always confident he is making the right choices when I leave the office with whatever my problem is and he always returns my calls right away. Blessed to have him making decisions about my health. When I get off track he always sets me right.
First visit met expectations. Overall very satisfied. The Florham Park building is conveniently located, contemporary, & well-planned open feeling. No claustrophobic waiting area. The office is clean, staff welcoming, attentive, and helpful. Appointment scheduling over the phone & rescheduling online was simple. The doc was friendly, sufficiently-thorough. He took time to listen to my health concerns, explain future cancer screenings based on family history, provided referrals for additional tests, and developed a care plan based on what other providers I’m seeing and where there are gaps in preventative healthcare. Once in the room, the doc spent more than an adequate amount of time with me and didn’t rush the appointment or race to get through an exam checklist. He was conversational without being overly chatty. Inquisitive without being judgmental. Checking out was quick, painless, I left in about 30 seconds with all my blood work booked and referrals in-hand.
I've been seeing Dr Laudadio for 2 years now. He is prompt, never waited more than 10 minutes, friendly and to the point. He spent extra time with me due to a significant medical issue I had that became very complicated which was my fault. He made some major changes to my medications which was life changing and helped correct the issue after some labwork and scans. He even called me on a Saturday at home to see how I was doing! Who does that anymore? He is like a real "old school" doc you can trust. A+++++
Summit is great and so is Dr Laudadio. He sees my whole family including my 2 young twin sons now that they are 18 and no longer able to see the pediatrician. He's been wonderful to all of us and always seems make room to see me when I need to come in last minute for an emergency even if he is "full". My sons are really picky about doctors and they both loved him the first time they saw him this week. He treated them as they were adults not kids. We love Dr. L !!! Trust me on this one, he is the best
i am switching docs after my first appointment with Dr Laudadio as a new patient. found him rude, critical of nursing staff and went on to tell me he would be too busy to see me if i had an emergency as all he has time for are physicals. he did say i could see his nurse practitioner that he is "in touch with" several times through the day. Why do i need a doc that's too busy to see me; critical of my previous doc who i loved and critical of nursing staff who seemed to really care?
This is long overdue. I would love to say that Dr L is fantastic. I brought my very old mother to see him for the first time as her previous doctor retired suddenly leaving her with no care and no way to renew her meds. She is very complicated and has many medications too. I was afraid the doctor would be unwilling to accept her as a new patient. Well not only did the doctor do so but he revised her list of medication to get rid of a bunch of meds she didn't need. she is doing better than ever and has much more energy. He's been so kind and understanding and oh so very patient as I know mom can talk up a storm. He just nods and smiles. I am so glad to find him I was recommended to him by a friend and she was right about Doctor Laudadio. He is a winner. I am going to have him see my Aunt too who I take care of. A+++++
I went to see Dr. Laudadio for a physical as a new patient. He never introduced himself and never looked up at me. I told him I was experiencing burning in my feet for a few months. He responded with " Why are you seeing me for that? I'm not a neurologist?" I found him to be obnoxious and argumentative. I have never experienced such a negative doctor in all my years. I then told him I had ichy skin and saw my dermatologist the day before who suggested I relay that to the internist I will be seeing so he may add that concern to the blood tests needed for a physical. Dr Laudadio (never looking up from his computer) said "If I were you I would get another dermatologist. Seems he was too lazy to order a blood test for that issue", Besides the fact that I have the highest respect for my dermatologist, I was so frazzled by his rude and inappropriate behavior, that I took my coat and walked out of the exam room. I am still stunned that a professional would behave in that manner.
I am a new patient to Summit Medical Group as I just moved to NJ from Florida and I saw Dr Ladadio as a new patient in February. I couldn't be happier. He was welcoming and very patient even though I have a very long complicated medical history. He got me in for labs immediately as it was many months since my last labwork. He found an issue that was overlooked by my previous doctor which was serious. He has started me on medication to correct it and I feel so much better as my fatigue is gone and my pain has improved a lot in just 3 weeks. God Bless you doctor! I can't thank you enough. Also the office was very clean wait was reasonable. The staff was also nice especially Ariane the nurse who took my medical history. Also the nice girl Patrice? who checked me out and set up my labwork the same day! I am very happy to find this practice and I can't recommend Dr Ladadio enough. My husbands new too and also had a great experience. Bless you Dr Ladadio and staff!
Dr. Laudadio spent the first 5 minutes of our appointment complaining that he shouldn't get new patients, that he doesn't even have time for his current patients and that the back office never listens to him. Maybe that's true, but as a new patient it doesn't exactly give you a warm and fuzzy that the Dr. is going to be interested in providing the best care. Unfortunately, the character limitation in this review is going to prevent me from providing all of the fun details of what was probably the most lack luster healthcare consultation I've ever had. I can tell you that more than once I looked for cameras in the office to see if I was on Punked or Practical Jokers. Unfortunately I wasn't, because at least if I was could have been able to be on TV and probably received the same level of care from the cast. If you call Summit Medical and this is the only Dr. available for your physical do yourself a favor and find a new practice to call. Honestly, DMV gives better service.
Cannot recommend enough! My primary doctor has moved and I had put off finding a new doctor on account its scary haha Dr. Laudadio was welcoming, kind, and professional. Not condescending or dismissive in any way. I recommend him to my Father who also needed a new primary. Dr. Laudadio was a hit with him as well!

Dr. Laudadio is warm and caring, and he is an excellent listener. He patiently explains diagnoses, and the risks, benefits and alternatives of treatment options. I have been to see him for regular visits as well as an urgent one last week. He agreed to see me, and not only did he prescribe treatment that was helpful, but he anticipated what I should bring with me on my trip overseas should my condition worsen. As a physician myself, I give him my highest recommendation.
He listened and checked everything, he ordered me some test, gave me a prescription, very professional, Awesome Doctor.
