About Dr. Richard B Gremillion
Reviews for Dr. Richard B Gremillion
I love and truly appreciate how Dr. Gremillion has been treating me for over 3 years or more. He doesn’t overload me with lots of prescription drugs, but treats my body as natural as possible. I believe in the benefits of both western and eastern medicine. So, I really love his approach and am so blessed to be able to find him as my autoimmune doctor.
Dr Gremillion has been a tremendous help to me for many years. Not only is he knowledgeable but he also spends time listening to my concerns. I highly recommend him.

Always a good visit!
Great! Thanks!
Dr Gremillion likes to help people. And he's good at it
Dr GREMILLION is always friendly and ready to discuss any issues and concerns I might have.
Dr Gremillion is thorough in his questioning and exam. He is also very kind.
It was very pleasant didn't have to wait long at all and all questions were answered. Would recommend to all my family and friends
What I always hope for in a doctor. Patient, attentive, kind, thorough. He asked a lot of questions, listened well, took his time with me in checking everything before jumping to conclusions. I really wish more doctors were like him.
I have mild psoriatic arthritis that comes and goes and went to my general practitioner for some options. My GP referred me to Dr. Gremillion. Meeting with Dr. Gremillion, he was very dismissive and confused why I'd see him given that "psoriasis is a skin disease" (but an autoimmune one) and I should see a dermatologist instead. I suspected he just didn't want to deal with a non-rheumatoid patient, but waited a month to write this review until I met with yet another doctor (a dermatologist). First comment the dermatologist made was that they'd be happy to help, but that I should see a rheumatologist. I explained my experience with Dr. Gremillion, and they said they weren't surprised given his demeanor, and would try and find a solution to both my skin and joints and not have me referred again. I appreciate the dermatologist trying to find a solution for me. I don't appreciate Dr. Gremillion passing the buck and making minimal attempts at actually helping.
If you are female I would seriously reconsider this doctor. I went to my wife's appointment with her at her request. My wife feels more comfortable at her appointments if I'm there for support and to help aid in understanding information discussed. I'm a registered nurse and have been in the medical field 19 years. I was extremely uncomfortable during this visit to say the least. He ask my wife to completely Undress under the gown- "no underwear". I told my wife that's not necessary for this type of exam and I'm so glad I did. Where he chose to stand during all of the range of motion exercises was completely inappropriate. There was no privacy and came across abusive. Near the end of the exam, he sat on a stool and had my wife bend over in front of him with her gown open to him. She was asked to stand so close that she was between his knees, basically straddling her just so he could measure her spine. Trust me when I say this because I was very alert to the situation- After he was done measuring her bent over, he quickly left the room, but would not stand up straight. I don't think I need to fill you in on what I'm saying. It was extremely inappropriate! There's absolutely no need to be fully naked underneath a hospital gown during this type of exam. I cringe to think how that appointment would've been any different if I wasn't sitting in the room. As if this wasn't enough, he was extremely dismissive and made my wife feel like she was wasting his time. It seemed to me as if he was irritated with her because he would ask her to do something and she would look to me as if to ask, is this OK or normal? Red flags the entire visit.

Dr Gremillion is an amazing, effective, and personable doctor. I personally highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Gremillion is great and his treatment has worked.
Very thorough. Glad to have him as my rheumatologist
The doctor and his assistant were very attentive and informative!
Dr. Gremillion is thorough and listens. I like him and his staff.
Thank you for taking the time to check on my health I have been waiting for this appointment for sometime, I can’t wait to hear the outcome of all my test ????
I was referred to Dr. Gremillion through my PCP because my provider was not accepting new patients. Dr. Gremillion was immediately dismissive of my complaints and test results. I was frequently interrupted and my words were misconstrued. This appeared intentional, as a way to dismiss me from his workload. I do not trust his opinion and I am eagerly waiting to see a new doctor. I feel I wasted my time and money by seeing Dr. Gremillion.
When you bring medical journals with snippets highlighted that you’re concerned about to a visit to go over them and a doctor refuses to even look at them that is telling. I was treated very poorly by Dr. Gramillion who frequently cut me off through my medical history, didn’t provide a thorough physical exam, skipped strength tests, and went on to dismiss my pain and decline in my health. When I expressed my frustration he put in unsolicited advice to my PCP to search for a reason for my “emotional volatility” which is wildly inappropriate. It’s clear his ethics have taken a back seat and his ego is driving the way he practices.

Dr. Gremellion Was incredibly thorough and listened to everything I had to say. He made me feel completely at ease and answered every question I had. He made me feel ???? validated in my concerns. He is incredibly genuine and knowledgeable and I think he is an awesome doctor he talks to you like a family member and is very engaging I highly recommend him and would recommend him. I love the time he took to explain things where I would understand it instead of using medical jargon… he was able to explain it in such a way that it was easily received. He is incredibly professional genuine and kind a highly recommend him. Dr. Gremellion Was incredibly thorough and listened to everything I had to say. I appreciate Dr. Gremillion’s help and expertise. I have some difficult arthritic conditions. He answers my questions and explains things to me very well. I have sensitivities to medications and he has assisted me with that. He has helped me a great deal.

Negative 5 stars. Meeting with Dr Gremillion was traumatic. He is verbally and physically abusive. I am lucky my husband was with with me to witness the hellisous appointment. I even asked gremillion to stop and he did NOT. I would NOT let a family member, friend or enemy be a victim of his actions.
Actually the worst office ever have been given the run around for over a month and out of my medication and they could careless if I could rate zero I would do not go.
I’m normally not one to write reviews but this experience was an absolute nightmare. I was forced to go here due to an insurance change. The staff was rude and incompetent. Gave them 6 months to start a prior authorization process for the medicine I was on and it never got approved. Had someone tell me that “they forgot to send something in to my insurance.” Isn’t this what you’re getting paid to do? By the grace of God I was able to switch insurances again and go back to McKay Dee Rheumatology in Ogden (HIGHLY RECOMMEND.) I was approved and scheduled within 2 days. TWO DAYS. If you have other options for a Rheumatologist I would say do that. I saw Dr Gremillion for about a year and a half. In the beginning he seemed OK but then each visit after things changed. Over the year and a half he told me I had three different diagnosis. My primary Dr had me taking Plaquenil for RA which I felt I was doing well on. Dr Gremillion took me off of it saying he didn't think I had RA. He tried other medication that I had reactions to also on other visits said he thought I had Osteoarthritis then Tendinitis. Never deciding what was wrong. He seemed to focus alot on hands even though I kept telling him I was having pain everywhere. My last visit I asked if he had decided what was wrong with me and he became very hostile said maybe I should find a Dr I could communicate with. I said I felt I was. He asked what I felt I had I said RA but that he was the Dr shouldn't he be the one telling me. I said I felt my quality of life was better on the Plaquenil and he said why did I stop it then? I replied because YOU TOLD ME TO!! That apparently angered him because he basically started to act like a toddler having a tantrum. Told me I could see the other Dr in the office and it wouldn't hurt his feelings or go somewhere else. He then agreed to give me an RX for Plaquenil and left the room saying good luck just leaving my husband and I sitting there. We were shocked by his behavior. I have worked in the medical field for 30 years as an MA and never seen a Dr act like this! Also the office is poorly run and it takes forever to get your RX refilled or phones calls returned even when you're having a reaction to medication. Sometimes days. I would say go to a different doctor if possible. If you have other options for a Rheumatologist I would say do that. I saw Dr Gremillion for about a year and a half. I am very disappointed with Dr. Gremillion and his staff. His staff are abrupt on the phone and slow to return calls. I found them to be unsympathetic and uncaring about my situation and concerns. I cannot recommend him as a doctor.
A soon as they find out I had no insurance the tone of the voice for the receptionist changed to a bad mood ... I felt like I didn't needed to continue the call and hung up the phone ... It's obvious they only care for you if you have insurance and no because you are a person ... Had this issue but they took care of it and let her husband in. Good for them. Will not to let a spouse in during a consultation because of Covid. I get an actual appointment but a consultation? At 81 years of age most patients do not have the skills to remember everything that is told them and require a counter part to lean on to help with this. I had a terrible experience with Dr Gremillion! Ladies please beware of this Dr!
This Clinic is horribly managed. For years my dad has been a patient and they have never once filled his prescription on time. You will call and leave messages and they either won't refill it in time or never send in a prior authorization. Right now he is a week overdue for his prescription, despite the fact, that both the pharmacy and I have been calling them on a daily basis. Not only did they send in the prior-auth in late; it turns out they forgot to take a TB test for insurance. So it means he won't be able to get his prescription until next week. Thats 2 weeks overdue because of there incompenance. If you can find a better Rheumatologist you should. It can't get worse than this! This Clinic is horribly managed. I have been with Dr. Gremillion office for over 2 years. Dr. Gremillion and staff have always gone over and beyond professionals! I am so humble, by their diagnosis and aggressiveness in care to my prognosis! Since Granger Medical has joined their office it seems like things are changing. Not to Dr. Gremillion or the medical staff!!! But, to the support staff! I came in the office for my regular schedule appointment, when the front receptionist was busy with another person standing in front of her. I stood there for a moment. She look at me, then I took a seat. She the took over 5 minutes working with this Individual. Glancing to me off and on. When this individual left, she seemed to be entering information on the last individual when another patient came in. Now, she is Ignoring me, and took care of this person, while making eye contract with me, still off and on. Now, I am about 20 minutes sitting in the office waiting for my appointment. She took me a little off guard when she asked me what I was there for. I answered her (to my surprisement) tickets to the next movie! It went down hill from there. She tried to tell the staff that I was late for my appointment! But, to her surprise they still took me in. Then, she give me a hastle about a co-pay which I showed her a receipt of a payment I made that day, online though a work benefit account. Then, when I got to work, i received a text that the full balance needed to be paid in so many days, if not they will report this on my credit report. This number where I recieved this text was from a number never recieved by this office before. I made a response to it, with no response! I know that for me, and the professional staff that witnessed this receptionist behavior prompted this feedback! Respectfully, Shelley I have been with Dr. Gremillion office for over 2 years. Dr Gremillion spent a great deal of time with me. He told me I had wear and tear arthritis. He told me to cut back on sugars and caffeine and take turmeric and didn’t offer any other treatment options. He also told me that I had bursitis in both knees yet again didn’t offer any advice on treating that. While he seems like a very nice doctor I was left feeling very discouraged and with more questions than answers. I asked him how I could deal with my exhaustion as I have to work. He suggested a medication but did not offer to write out a prescription. I feel like he was willing to help me if I had arthritis due to Crohn’s but he didn’t think I did (all without any blood work) that he couldn’t help me. He did order an MRI on my upper back but that is for the spine clinic. I just feel that I waited 3 months and then wasted my time at this appointment. I really like like Dr Gremillion , he is kind, had a good bedside manner and seems to be very knowledgeable. He doesnt try to push medications and I love that about him! His staff are not all the friendliest or most helpful people. I have left messages that have never been followed up with. I have been left sitting in the waiting room for extended periods because I was forgotten about. (and then told I should have asked the receptionist what was taking so long because they are "only human" and make mistakes) I have been told, " I will be back to get (enter vital info here) and we will go over your entire range" only to be left sit and never returned to. All that being said, I will return to Dr Gremillion if needed because I really like him even if his staff are not the most professional people I have encountered.
