Very attentive, informative, and kind.
There are no words to describe how wonderful Dr. Gould, his nurse Venus, and all of the staff at Virginia Mason Peds are. I've known Dr. Gould for a very long time, even as a job shadow when I was in grade school, so it was natural for me to choose him to be my children's pediatrician. He is calm, knowledgable and a wonderful listener. He genuinely cares about my kids, and our whole family, always asking about our family when we come in for checkups, etc. The office is amazing at getting us in for last minute appointments when the kids are sick. The office is clean and we love the fish tank (and the kids love the stickers). Checkin staff is always friendly. It's been nothing but an amazing experience the past five years. I'll be truly sad one day when Dr. Gould retires (hopefully not for a long time!!) Dr. Gould has been the best bet we ever placed in our lives. He is first a human being and then a doctor and our daughter has always felt at ease with him. His quiet demeanor assures the smallest of patients that they are well taken care of. As a parent you feel reassured completely listening to his explanations. I strongly recommend him to any new parent. His staff are l very warm and understanding.

Dr Gould was my pediatrician and all 3 of my kids have gone since birth and I think he is the best Dr. Always listens and is very calm. He's seen everything and if you are concerned he will make you feel better but will also recognize that you are concerned and will not blow you off, he will give you a referral to someone else. I think he believes that parents are the best advocate for their children.
