Dr. Richard Henry Glasser

We have used Dr. Glasser all of my adult life. He listens, he cares and advocates for his patients. We consider him family at this point, no other physicians have taken the time to protect our family and truly listen when we say something is wrong.

My family has been seeing Dr. Glasser since 2001. He has caught a number of serious issues very early. We are so grateful for his amazing care.

Best Doctor ever... Takes the time to listen and discuss your health needs. Great office and support staff.

Takes time to explain or assist as needed. Never makes it quick, always takes time and never short cuts anything. An amazing person.

Dr. Glasser is the most caring, compassionate person I think I've ever met. I saw him for a number of years while residing in Colorado. He genuinely listened to my questions and complaints and never made me feel I had asked a foolish question. He gave me thorough answers in common sense wording so I really understood each medical situation. Because of his expertise in his treatment of patients from the intellectual point of view he was able to glean much more information regarding their physical situation and needs thus getting to the root of the problem much quicker. Dr. Glasser is a Physician's Physician and my only regret is that I had to move from Colorado and could no longer access his services. Thank you Dr. Glasser! Dr. Glasser was my family physician when I resided in Colorado from the 70s until early 2000. He is an excellent doctor and always listens to his patients. I moved back East to care for an aging parent and had a health issue that would require long term treatment. I wrote a letter to Dr. Glasser asking for his opinion and advise. (2014) Dr. called me and gave me information and his opinion on what I was concerned about. To me, this is above and beyond. Dr, Glasser truly cares for his patient's and their well being. Dr. Glasser is that oddity in the medical profession, someone who can communicate with warmth, intelligence and a sense of humor. Since he takes the time necessary with each patient you will probably find that he is perpetually a little late, but you know that's due to the care he gives to each of us instead of the assembly line you've seen with other physicians.

I've been his patient for many years. He listens, he asks good questions, and then he finds the solution for my issue. He knows medicine and wants to help patients, not make a fast buck. He really is a kind person. He works with me to tweak medications, or find new solutions--it's never a case of "Do this, take that because I'm a doctor and you're not." No fancy office--just a great doc. Even if I moved, I would drive many miles to his office to continue being his patent--he's that good.

Dr. Glasser is extremely knowledgeable and competent in all aspects of his practice. He has a kind and approachable demeanor. Dr. Glasser is an excellent listener and is thorough and detailed in discussions of patient areas of interests and concerns. I have been a long term patient and highly recommend him to others.

I didn't actually see dr. Glasser I saw dr rauzi but I had to find somewhere to find to write a review about southwest family medecine. This place is the worst place I've ever been. Dr. Rauzi doesn't explain a thing to you about what is going on and he does is stand there and stare at you. His bed side manner is terrible. I went here 3 years and didn't get one not ONE yearly physical. All he does is prescribe medication. He explains nothing. He needs to retire. The front desk staff is really off and on. One minute their nice the next minute they're terribly rude and aweful. They're very unorgonized. It takes them forever to het any prescriptions done. They have a high turn over rate up there which says something about management. There's a nurse practitioner there named jessica who might be one of the rudest peop,e I've ever met. She's cold mean and just doesn't care. I can't believe she even has a job. There's a young male nurse there that rushes you and who a ts real uppety and snotty. The only real good thing about this place is an older female nurse with short curly hair and glasses who is just wonderful. I didn't know anything about my health problems till I switched doctors and I've learned more at the new doctors office in 2 months than I did in 3 years at southwest family medecine. Beware of this place they're just terrible. Or the record I know nothing of dr glasser himself maybe ne knows what he's doing but nobody else there does.

Dr Glasser never seemed rushed with me and was genuinely curious about my various conditions and complaints.

My family has been seeing Dr. Glasser for 7 or 8 years. He really makes you feel he cares and has done a great job with our routine problems as well as longer term care. He is a terrific family physician!
