The best gastroenterologist my husband, my son or I have ever been to. This office makes difficult times easier, even the year I showed up prepped and ready for my colonoscopy, and found out I was a day early and would have to wait another 24 hours to eat, because I didn't want to re-prep. Really professional, really nice people.

Dr. Geisman has a bad bed side manner. He rushes you through appointments and doesn’t seem to care if you are hurting or uncomfortable. He doesn’t want to listen to how you feel.

Poor customer service. The people answering the phone are very rude and lack common manners.

Absolutely the best care!

Dr Geisman is an excellent doctor. Very thorough and I feel he genuinely cares about his patients and their comfort. I have the utmost confidence in him.

Took excellent care of Mom & then at about the age of 55 I started seeing him. I’m now 72 & he is by far my favorite Doc! Always professional, attentive & very easy to talk to! I also believe his staff of medical people are equally available & knowledgeable. He is also board certified in internal medicine, which I think is an extra knowledge plus. I would recommend no other gastroenterologist!

The officer managers name is Cindy Burke. She literally laughed at me and had other employees laughing when I explained that my primary doctor wanted me to be seen due to a medical emergency. She admitted to laughing and I asked her why was she laughing while Im experiencing an emergency. After calling so many times I was able to eventually speak with Dr Geismann. I explained that my sister had recently died from stomach cancer and Im experiencing some serious issues that my primary doctor is concerned about. I also explained how his office manager had laughed at me when I explained that Im bleeding and she couldnt give me an answer and she remained silently while Im livid at this point. He applogized for what he claims was MY OPINION. I told him it was a fact, not my opinion. Anyway the secretary said the next appt wasn't until June 7th whereas the nurse came to the phone to blatantly lie and say that there isn't an appt until the end of June. They wanted to try and do damage control by giving me a next day appt after humiliating me and laughing at my emergency. Her attitude was nasty and she wasn't aware that her secretary had just explained that there was a June 7th opening in which that made me livid. They are liars and very rude. Im calling the medical board because Barnes Hosptial has gone down over the course of the years and the level of care is mediocre. They are very unprofessional and they actually emulate the doctor because I've never cared for his unprofessionalism and lack of concern. There are so many doctors so please don't waste your time with this doctor. Don't play with your health, especially your gastro system and choose another doctor. Office manager Cindy Burke literally laughed over the phone at my medical emergency. I'm bleeding and she actually admitted that it was her that was laughing. She didn't even try to hide it. I have gotten sicker since seeing Dr Geissmann and that may be because his level of care is the same as his workers. Unprofessional with hardly any concern and the gastro system is nothing to play with but yet he does in my opinion. He doesn't listen and I told him that my sister died from stomach cancer

At 57 years old, Dr. Geisman is the best doctor I have ever experienced. Personable and genuinely cares about my health. Honest and straight forward about my care. I wish he was my primary care doctor.

He ordered an abdominal CT scan to diagnose abdominal pain I was having. Later, I found out that the CT scan showed a nodule in my left lung. Dr. Geisman did not even tell me this.
