Nice guy, but after I described an extreme shortness of breath, he focused on my asthma and failed to consider any other possible causes. Even after I told him that my rescue inhaler provided zero relief, he prescribed another asthma medication. Even I knew it wasn't asthma so I went to see my PCP, an extremely talented Nurse Practitioner. She sent me for a chest X-Ray, which led to a subsequent CT-Scan that showed a significant amount of scarring on my lungs. When a specialist fails to order the most basic and cost-effective test and fails to provide a proper diagnosis, such as an X-Ray, he's not very special at all. The office folks also exhibit little concern for their patients either. Seems like they're just there trying to get to 5 o'clock.

Dr. Fiero is okay, but his staff is dismissive, argumentative, and unhelpful. They appear to be more concerned about getting through the day than they are about their patient's care. I'm searching for a new provider.

Dr. Fiero is okay, but his office staff and nurses are rude and uncaring. The appointment person doesn't listen and gets frustrated when you ask for clarification. When I asked a nurse if the new medication they just prescribed wouldn't have the same side effects as the previous one, she said, "Yes. It'll be fine." Then, she hung up. No goodbye. No good luck. No reassurance that my health needs had any level of priority in her day. Just "click." I'm looking for a new doc.

In charge of my care at MWH after I suffered a lung collapse at 24. OK'd my discharge while I was running a fever of over 100 degrees with a prescription of painkillers with acetaminophen. Two days later at home fever remains and I call Fiero's office, am told to take max dose of tylenol. Back in the hospital two days later with liver failure (acetaminophen overdose) leading to sepsis, month-long hospitalization. Criminally negligent, and the only office involved not to forgive my debt.
