Dr. Richard William Farnam

Had to wait an hour and 45 minutes and was told I would only be waiting at the most an hour and a half. Then the office became upset because I Had to leave to see my patients. I was rescheduled me after multiple attempts. They finally contacted me to let me know that they did not want to see me as a patient. The whole process of trying to get in and reschedule with more time took me at least 3 months and was a total waste of my time and energy. As a medical professional I have to rate them as amazingly unprofessional.

Dr. Farnam is pretty cool but it’s just not worth dealing with the office staff. They wait till LAST minute to tell you what they need of you and make it sound like it’s your fault for not being able to get back with them immediately. They literally pounded me every hour about obtaining a doctors reference the DAY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT! I tried to look past that experience and give them a chance because anyone can have a bad day- not worth the hassle. I am continually disappointed with these people. They aren’t clear or helpful and that’s IF you can even get ahold of them.

By far the best women's care I've experienced. I have not had the best of care with the VA when it came to gynecological care and Dr. Farnum made sure to change and take care of all my issues. Dr. Farnum is definitely an expert in his field from what I have experienced in my short time with this clinic. Patricia Loya Castro the NP is amazing as well and so attentive. The staff is very caring and give off such a good vibe throughout the building. You are definitely in great hands from the moment you walk-in.

Dr Farnam is an excellent doctor.. he save my life.. had gone to so many obgyn.. and don't compare to his work ethic.. abd best bed side manners. Took his time with me.. grateful to God to put dr Farnam. In my life.. God bless him

My experience with Dr. Farnam and his medical team has been excellent.The staff has always been friendly and professional. At times, I would grow impatient for the long wait time. However, I knew it was all going to be worth the wait. Eventually, I was told I required surgery. I received a laparoscopic myomectomy and found out I had stage 2 endometrimosis, after surgery. It's been months since my surgery. I've healed well and my scars are minimal. I've never felt better. Who knew your menstrual cycle shouldn't be painful. I highly recommend Dr. Farnam and his staff for these medical conditions. Big shout out to Dr. F and his medical team. Stay frosty.

Unfortunately, the office here is completely disorganized. I chose to schedule an appointment for my mother here because of the rave reviews and I wanted the best care for her since she needs surgery. It’s been months of her only seeing the nurse practitioner. They’ve been giving her the runaround about when this surgery will be done for weeks now and now it sounds like they’re not even doing the surgery. The secretary asked her if she had already left a review for the doctor. How can she if she hasn’t even met the doctor yet? It has been disappointing and frustrating to see them treat her this way. If you see a doctor with an unusually high amount of 5 star reviews, I’d beware. Not sure why there has been this trend with some doctors to push patients to leave these “great” reviews. Suddenly reviews are far more important than treating patients. I understand ratings do mean a lot to a business, but if doctors and staff focused on doing a great job providing the best care for their patients, those good reviews would come organically. Really friendly staff, loved the girl that was with me during my visit. I was very nervous when I got there but the staff put me a ease. I would definitely recommend this practice to any of my friends!

I cannot say enough wonderful comments regarding this office. I am so impressed as to how everyone in this office has treated me. Everyone in the office, from the receptionist to the check out girl are very professional in the way they speak to you and carry themselves. I was initially seen by Patricia Castro NP, who made me feel so comfortable due to her extensive knowledge and compassion, she is amazing. Christy promptly scheduled me for surgery and answered all my questions and eased my concerns. I also had a study done by one of their girls, who made it a positive experience. After having a biopsy done, the staff kept calling to change my appt. It was a game of 4 months straight pushing my appt back. Every time my appt was near I will get a phone call to have my appt changed. Left messages for the nurse since I was bleeding and in pain and never received a called back. No empathy for this office.

Dr. Farnam is the third gynecologist that I’ve seen in the last 1 1/2 years. The first two gynecologists I’ve had, I was not happy. Never felt comfortable with them and/or their clinics. I was a bit hesitant when I met Dr. Farnam (he was recommended by my dearest friend and she insisted that I see him and promised that I won’t regret it). Immediately after meeting Dr. Farnam, I felt at ease. He actually listened to me as I had explained my issues. And it wasn’t just Dr. Farnam, but his whole staff! The staff has been amazingly sweet to me. After all, the staff represents the doctor, so that is important too. Dr. Farnam is indeed an incredible doctor, and he has helped me tremendously. So my friend is right that I won’t regret meeting him, i am so happy to have met Dr. Farnam. The only thing I regret is that I didn’t see him sooner! Thank you Dr. Farnam!! The BEST experience! Dr. Farnam and staff are genuinely committed to patient care. I had robotic hysterectomy to remove massively enlarged uterus. The size of a WATERMELON ????! Surgery was perfect, recovery was minimal. I almost can’t believe I had surgery. Wish I would have done this sooner.

It should not take 2 hours to see a doctor. I arrived for my 10:30 am appointment at 10:06 to fill out paperwork. The only paper work I had to fill out was a 30 sec Covid screening form. By 10:25 the other 2 patients in the lobby were called back. at 10:55 I was still waiting in the lobby and I had been the only patient there. Since I had been waiting over 45 min I asked the receptionist if I was going to be seen anytime soon. She went to the back and at 11 a nurse came for me. The nurse was with me for almost 30 min. At 11:28 she asked me to undress and walked out. 30 min later I was still sitting in the room undressed from the bottom down. No one had come so I got dressed and walked out. I was furious that I was there almost 2 hours and had never seen the doctor. I will not be back to this office. It should not take 2 hours to see a doctor. Dr. Farnam is the best! He listened to all my concerns, addressed them and never made me to feel incompetent. His bedside manner is above most providers I’ve visited. His whole staff from front desk, to NP and everyone in the office is kind, courteous, and efficient.

I needed to recognize the service I had this week from the staff in Dr Farnam’s Office. I was being treated for something after seeing Dr Farnam, the medicine was not working; after calling the office they responded by sending me to a specialist. Who wasn’t available till the end of the month. (Pooft that wouldn’t help at all) I went about Doctoring myself on the internet and the next morning I got a call back from Dr Farnam’s office and they told me a different specialist was available the next day, I jumped to the opportunity! The doctor they referred me to was wonderful, and took a lot of my worries out of my hands. She prescribed new medication, and made sure I was really comfortable. She calmed me down and was very helpful. Took a blood test and told me she’d contact me as soon as possible. With the results she will determine if she will have to see me again. Dr. farnum has given me the first pain free year since my battle with endometriosis started a little over ten years ago. In my last surgery he was able to excise so much and remove a benign tumor on my ovary. His follow up and care has been life changing.

I am very pleased with all services provided and grateful for Dr. FARNAM! He not only took care of my ongoing issues of my Uterus, Cervix and Fallopian tubes that caused a great deal of problems for me, preventing me from being physically active at times due to pelvic pain and irregular menstrual cycles. I had already been through an Ablated Endometrium which did not help me and perhaps made things worse for me.. The ablation was NOT performed by Dr. Farnam, by the way. My next step was a Hysterectomy which I came to Dr.. Farnam for that procedure due to positive reviews from other patients. While having my hysterectomy, on surgery day, Dr. Richard Farnam also took the initiative to find my lost Filshe clips that had migrated somewhere in my abdomen after having a tubal ligation 16 years ago. My previous OBGYN doctor did not even consider to find and remove them after finding out I had these clips somewhere lost in my abdomen. Post surgery, everything is healing very well, I am so happy. I went to see Dr. Farnam for a hysterectomy and a bladder lift. From day 1 the staff was professional, compassionate, understanding, Knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I feel better now, than I've felt in years. Thank you Dr. Richard Farnam for making an uncomfortable situation a very good experience.

Please be warned. Definitely do not recommend for infertility treatment!! My body has never been the same since I was treated by Dr.Farnham. After ending up in the hospital, the doctor told me that Dr.Farnham is not even a fertility specialist and only had poor things to say. I wish someone had warned me.

Made an appointment to see Doctor Farnam and was given the nurse .I paid 65 out of pocket because I was new patient and it was also for consultation. But seemed to me that the nurse just wanted me not to ask questions . I was recommended Richard I heard he was a good Dr .I was disappointed with the first time visit. I have been very disappointed with the management of the offices at this clinic. I have been put on hold numerous times when calling about an unexpected bill, sometimes for up to 20 minutes. I hope you're ready to spend 2+ hours waiting to see the doctor or to get an ultrasound. Absolutely unreasonable wait time at every single visit. As a Registered Nurse and an Operating Room Nurse and being 77 I was doubly concerned about having Robotic Pelvic Surgery! Everything went so well from the preop care, recovery and post op care that all of my worry was unnecessary! I had NO POST OP Pain to speak of! I was walking in the recovery area within a couple of hours of surgery and went home feeling fine.I experienced a couple of "slow days" then I was pretty much back to normal.
