Absolute garbage of a practice not personable at all. their office staff is rude as can be and think they are holier than thou. I got jury duty 4 weeks after giving birth and they refused to write me a doctor's note. During labor dr. Powers mad multiple rude comments and barely mad it to catch the baby i would have let the intern deliver my child over her. I had a complication they completely missed that caused me so much pain and they just kept telling me it was the weight I gained. If you are looking to be treated like a dollar sign and not an actual human this is the place for you. If dr powers left this office they would be so much better off she is horrid and the main reason I changed obs for this pregnancy. I ended up switching from women’s specialist associates at 27 weeks because they want to do a cervix check at EVERY APPOINTMENT. Yes, even at 12 weeks. I am completely healthy and have zero symptoms of preterm labor. When I declined the check at 24 ish weeks they were condescending about why they would want to do it every appointment while not even being able to give me a clear reason why I should have that done at every appointment. My new doctor doesn’t understand why they would be doing that either, since you can use an ultrasound to check your cervix. Speak up for yourselves, ladies! Communication between doctors is very poor and I was left waiting naked on the table for the doctor for 45 minutes.

Office staff is really nice and I enjoyed the provider I met with. I don’t agree with the policy on charging for statements, so just make sure if you come to this office you keep up on that as they will charge you per statement sent out whether you receive it or not and you cannot opt out.

I used to go to this group many years ago before I moved. I’m back in Michigan and I’m seeing Dr Ellsworth. He is super friendly and very nice.

Dr. Elsworth is a great doctor. Very friendly & knowledgeable. He puts you at ease during your appointment & makes sure to answer your questions before you leave.
