Amazing dr!!! Dr. D Saved my daughter and I from Lyme

Many years ago after being undiagnosed for lyme around 8 years, I found a Dr. in NH. 4 hours and 15 minute drive each way. He got me started w treatment. How happy I was to find Dr. Dubocq just 20 min away! All the good things said are true and More! We as patients need to realise that, as Dr. Dubocq told me, he wasn't being reimbursed from insurance payments for upwards of 5 years. And his wife has been ill for years. It's not his fault, it's the rotten system we live in that forces them to have to make these decisions. When I went he was still accepting insurance and got me well enough to get back to living and and even some travelling. I will always be grateful for his help and recommend him to those who have lyme. My heart goes out to those on Mainecare-- it's the pitts. Dr. Donta , recently retired in Boston (known as the "Lyme guru") is sharing his protocols with interested Doctors for faster, more efficient treatment. A great article on Donta. Recommended reading! Literally the only Dr. to stick up for you. He spends hours with you going over every single element on your lab work, he listens to everything you have to say, answers every question you have, and listens to every ailment you have all in one visit. None of this making an appt and getting 10 minutes with a Dr who only let's you mention one ailment and having to make more visits for any other ailments you may have. Dr Dobocq is the BEST Dr. I have ever seen. His qualities are outstanding his knowledge is unbelievable he has saved my life twice now and continues to treat me for two years I have never met a doctor that is so caring and so professional an outstanding I rate him a 10 if there was a scale that high I've thanked him before for saving my life and I will continue to thank him. outstanding person and doctor. Dr Dubocq is a wonderful person. He spends plenty of time with each patient and makes sure to answer every question you have. I feel much better than when I first started my treatments with him. They are currently on going but i would definitely recommend giving his office a call if you are struggling with Lyme and are receiving no help here in Canada. Dr Dubocq is a wonderful person. Dr. Dubocq is reckless, overconfident, and abusive. He prescribes medications he does not understand. He disrespects his patients' time, always running several hours behind schedule, and charging patients in cash if they have to reschedule due to his inability to manage time. He is argumentative and belligerent if you question him. He is difficult to reach, and blames the patient if the treatment does not work. He orders elaborate lab work, but does not work with specialists to follow up on results. He changes treatment protocols based on whims and has absolutely no interest in the patient's previous experiences with treatments, whether successful or not.

A well Educated Dr. in treating of Lyme Disease who understands every aspect of your ailments and knows how to treat them and takes the time to explain your treatment. You will not find a better Dr. that cares more and willing to take you as a patient.

Dr. Dubocq is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctor's I have ever met. I have no doubt he saved my life. He does not rush me through my appointment, he listens, connects all the dots and NEVER gives up. I may wait a while for my appointment but I never mind because I know I will get all the time I need from him.

My daughter was suddenly crippled at 18 years old..... 7 doctors said that was it for her.....she would be crippled for the rest of her life........ but the symptoms, did not match up with their diagnosis. We travelled to the US and Dr Dubocq diagnosed her as a very clear and classic case of Lyme disease..... This made sense as she was very active outdoors - hiking in both New Brunswick and Maine. She started treatment in early 2017 and after a year of steady improvement....100% cured....

If you have Lyme disease or think you have it go see this doctor. He is the best.

I am a Lyme Disease patient. I have been suffering with the disease for over ten years un-diagnosed until recently. Two months ago, I was refereed to this Dr for treatment as there are few doctors in the state that can effectively treat it. During this time I was also filing for disability. I had put this doctor on my application for disability, not as someone I had seen yet, but as someone I was referred to, and going to see on the 11th, just so they already had this information. The state sent there office a request for records for whatever reason, which the receptionist so condescendingly said was "very strange", suspicious, insinuating that I must have been doing something wrong.. I was automatically approved for Maine care simply because I applied for disability. I pay for another health insurance, and even offered to pay out of pocket. On top of that I told them I would be willing to cancel Maine care, just to be able to go see him. Today, a week before my appointment with Mr Dubocq, I was called by his office and was told that he is no longer going to see me because I was approved for Maine care. He doesn't want to care for these people any more, and is no longer accepting Maine care patients. Even after I explained that I put them down as a doctor I was GOING TO see, not that I have already seen, and I was absolutely willing to cancel Maine care and use my other insurance, or even pay out of pocket to see him I was turned down. A week before my Dr apt, after I have waited two months to see this man, they tell me he is not going to see me because I filed for disability, was put on Maine care, and the state requested records, which they find suspicious and very strange........ No suggestions of who I could go see to help me, nothing but too bad, basically they don't trust people who are filing for disability, that are willing to pay for there treatment however they need to, even canceling other insurance and paying out of pocket. I have never been so sickened by the lack of caring and concern in my life. This is the worst experience I have ever had. It was hard enough to find this Dr who I had such high hopes of finding even just a little relief from this horrible disease. Thank you for wasting so much of my time, and making it that much harder to get healthy. I am a Lyme Disease patient. Dr. Dubocq is the best Dr. I have ever had. He takes the time to listen to you and solve your medical problems.
