Very down to earth and very detailed with what to expect. Highly recommend!

Definitely don’t go to him!! I was referred to him due to injury from car accident and he was rude and horrible. Told me my mri was bogus and my pain was also. How can a mri be wrong? Then he went on to say negative stuff about patients with medical cards. And he don’t care about patients that have medical cards he is on salary anyways. Was hoping to get relief and help from him and he treated me like I didn’t matter. Very very disappointed in the care I was given. Definitely don’t go to him!! I had seen different doctors all last year due to back pain, no one could tell me the why I hurt, then the last 3 or 4 months of last year I had my cyatic nerve down my leg hurting all the time. The pain was so bad I had to stay in bed all the time. Finally I went to see Dr. Douglas and he sent me for a nerve root block and I've been walking ever since. He's my hero!!! He and his assistant are caring and knowledgeable.

Dr. Douglas took time listening to me about my back pain and explained about my MR I which showed several dislocated and ruptured vertebrae. He told me I should have nerve route block, explained the procedure and we decided to have that done. Didn't get in hurry

Dr. Douglas completed surgery on my back Monday. I can't thank him enough for the compassion and caring attitude he had toward helping me walk again. He is truly caring with his patients and does what is best for them. I am overwhelmed with joy that I went from not being able to move my left leg at all without severe pain to being able to walk. Even after the surgery that day he stopped by to see how I was doing this is true compassion for healthcare. I can't emphasize enough what an excellent surgeon he is and the amazing job he did. I was frustrated, insulted & had no answers when I left his office. I have genetic osteoarthritis, which is advanced for my age. I was awaiting hip a replacement & experiencing sciatic pain. I wanted to know if the nerve issue would go away after replacement or if it would be a neurology issue we'd need to tackle post op. Douglas accused me of being depressed & wanted to prescribe depression meds. I was depressed bc I couldn't move and in chronic PAIN! Took 6 weeks to get in & get zero results!
