My husband was scheduled to have surgery in April, but had a heart attack in March (he is 25 years old). We called the office to give them the news and see how long the surgery needed to be postponed and what the next steps were. The receptionist, “Deena”, said she would speak with Dr. DeVore and give us a call back. In her defense, she tried to contact us a few times before we called back. As you can imagine, we are busy with other appointments and overall stress as we navigate his current situation. I was astonished to be spoken to so rudely when I called back. The same receptionist, “Deena”, said in an aggravated tone that she “had been trying to reach us” and gave me no other information except that the surgery needs to be put off a year and that they can’t schedule that far out. At the hospital, we were told he would need to be on blood thinners and that it could cause a risk for his ENT surgery and that it would “probably be a year”. We simply wanted more medical knowledge to know what we are working with as he also needs this surgery. But when I asked Deena to give me more details, she rudely stated, “he just had a heart attack. He needs a year because his body needs time to heal.” I understand and we are in no way trying to get the surgery date moved up. We just wanted to know what the doctor had to say, but we were given vague answers and spoken to with such a lack of empathy that we will now be finding another surgeon in a year from now. Such A great ENT I had swimmers Ear going on and he helped me get my ear better after going to places that didn't do anything for me he was awesome helped clean my ear you can definitely tell he cares about his patients he had me in there 3 times for my ear and now I feel alot better Thanks to him ????

Excellent Doctor. He took out polyps in my sinuses about 15-20 yrs ago. They've never returned. I've had surgeries by other Doctor and they always came back.

He did an amazing job on my surgery and I could see his passion for helping others. He told me what he was doing step by step and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him.
