From the moment, I first called in and spoke to his assistant Carmen, I already knew I was in good hands, She was extremely friendly, and had all confidence in Dr. Davis’s work. From there I met with Dr.Davis, had a 2 hour consult, Which by the way he was completely friendly, patient, knowledgable, and very detailed. I had already had two previous nose jobs which were basically botched and I was left very unhappy, So I knew my nose would not be an easy task. But he was very upfront with what he was going to do and how it would look. . In speaking with him it was such a wonderful experience and he was so knowledgable that I knew I was going to leave that office having surgery with him. A couple weeks later I was already scheduling my appointment and having my surgery. He prepped me with before , during , and after surgery details and for being a surgery it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I healed beautifully didn’t even have much pain or bruising. It’s been almost a year now and I can’t sing his praises enough. I would recommend him highly for any nose surgery, first timers or revision. he is one of the best nose doctors out there. I had a bad experience with Dr. Davis about three years ago. Therefore, to date i'm not surprised to see so many negative reviews, considering his inadequacy as a doctor. Be very careful to this doctor knows how to cheat his patients with false promises. I want to add that, in the last two years i have noticed that the website Realself has canceled 4 negative reviews of Dr. Richard Davis, where the patients had published their negative story with attached photos. Therefore, an ethical and morally correct doctor does not use this artifice in order not to make negative results known to future patients, because he is awarwe that the site in question is viewed by a very large number of people. I have noticed that in the last few days 3 negative reviews have been removed from this site, but honesty i am not surprised, rather it is the further confirmation of the professional dishonesty of this sort of doctor. I want to clarify that actually other negative reviews have been removed and i published some of these on the YELP website. I added this latest review to make it clear that as early as 2008 some ex-patients they had denounced the fact that Dr. Davis was systematically deleting most of the negative reviews on the major sites. “You want the appointment, not me” -Davis Rhinoplasty receptionist Not the response I’d expected to hear after I asked the receptionist, Carmen, why I hadn’t heard back from the office when he told me he’d contact me with other dates for a consultation. He proceeded to say I should’ve called sooner, never mind that he told me he’d call me or that I had called and their voicemail was full or not working. Dr. Richards did a deviated septum surgery on me 9 years ago. And he was simply the best. No a single complaint or concern!! Whoever doesn't like this doctor is high as hell and needs a hug. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Davis is a God. There are many things in life that people can fake but talent isn't one of them. I came to Davis needing a complex revision requiring complete reconstruction using cartilage grafts to rebuild my nose. I'm thrilled to say he did an outstanding job and far exceeded all my expectations. My nose looks just like the computer morphs. He's a brilliant surgeon and a true master of his craft. His entire practice is solely dedicated to rhinoplasty, which isn't very common these days. I also like that he only operates on one patient a day, which is another rarity. My daughters nose was broken as a young child. She had trouble breathing through it for years and was left with a bump on her bridge which grew worse as she matured. Dr Davis corrected all these issues and gave her back the beautiful nose she was born with. Two years later, she broke her nose again after getting thrown from a Jetski. We went back to Dr Davis again and he performed a second surgery on her and was kind enough to waive his fee. Once again the surgery was a success. She can breath perfectly and her nose looks amazing! Dr Davis is one of the top doctors in his field. He is kind, compassionate, has the best bedside manner and the hands of a God!! I had my surgery with Doctor Davis on February 22, 2021. A little over 90 days from my wedding date. I was hoping to wait longer (after the wedding) to do this procedure, but I was living miserably. I was not able to breath. As you can tell on my picture, my nose was very small after an accident had destroyed the bone structure about 17 years ago. It did not look too bad after my facial reconstruction surgery, so I leave it alone despite medical advice. Doctors had told me I need it extra surgeries to secure my nose structure which they were no able to do due to the other injuries on my face. I was young and silly and decided not to follow that advice. The day I start having problems breathing my life fall apart. I wanted a doctor that was experienced on nose only. I hired a broker to find this doctor. She came out with Doctor Davis and few others. I consulted with all of them a total of 9 doctors all over the country. I live in San Diego - California, but I was willing to travel for the right doctor. After carefully assessing everything I decided to go with Doctor Davis in Florida. 3 main reasons help me to pick him over everyone else. The years of experience and expertise in the field. His knowledge in nose reconstruction (he has wrote several studies and medical papers, yes I read them). His presence in his field and peer recognition (he teaches other doctors how to build noses all over the world). I am 6 weeks post surgery and my nose is healing. I am able to breath normally for the first time in more than 3 years. Something I will always grateful to Doctor Davis for. I know the size of my nose will be bigger, but he did everything he could to make it fit nicely with my face, so it looks natural even just weeks after surgery. I had a very complicated 10.5hrs surgery and I was so happy he was my surgeon when complications pop up in the OR. I was reassured I pick the right doctor when after my long surgery while I was still in the recovery room, he came out to the parking lot to talk to my fiancé (COVID times he had to way in the car). He not only gave him all the details of my surgery for about an hour, but also gave him his personal cellphone number to make sure he is there during my recovery. I have since come back to San Diego and go back to Florida for my 4 weeks check out. Things are going well and we are hopeful that my nose will continue healing well. I know my healing process will take 24 months before I see my real nose, and by month 6 I will be less swollen and have a better idea, but we are hopeful my nose will look pretty good even after only 3 months for my wedding. Hopefully I can write another review then with my wedding pictures. I will keep posting reviews as I reach my healing marks. Doctor Davis is excellent communicating, so you can make an informed decision. I would highly recommend Doctor Davis to a family member or a friend. I am very sad . I had two surgery with dr. Davis . 5 years later I have dented crooked nose . Difficult breathing. After spending all this money. Please don’t make my mistake.

I am just about 4 years post op and after the first year, once the swelling went down - I knew for sure my nose was a total disaster. I stayed patient since everyone says you have to wait for the swelling, I kept hoping and praying that this wasn't going to be my new nose... but deep down I knew something was really wrong. Now I've been living with a deformed nose that has forced me to use a breathing machine when I sleep AND I have empty nose syndrome now. All because of Dr. Davis. Now I need my entire nose reconstructed because it looks a combination of fake & horrible on top of these severe functional problems I have to live with.When I brought these issues up to Davis, every time he told me I look great and keeps blaming my breathing problems on allergies. For 2 years he blamed it on swelling. He has given me these steroid shots to attempt to bring the size down, but it has done nothing. This doctor is an absolute genius and without question the most talented surgeon out there.

After an accident, I’ve almost didn’t have a nose anymore and this in an age of 20. I’ve needed to give up university because I couldn’t handle my appearance anymore and I knew I need to focus on finding a solution for myself. There were doctors in my country that thought could help me, yet they made everything worse. Thank god, I’ve got the opportunity to travel to Dr.Davis to get my treatment from him. It was a long road and of course I still see flaws here and there but sooo many people do ask me where I’ve got my nose done and that it looks beautiful ???? fact is : Dr.Davis is one of the most integer and beautiful person I’ve ever met. I finally started taking pictures again and am not anymore thinking about the nightmare that happened to my young life as soon as I wake up. Meanwhile I’ve graduated from university, and I knew this was important to him as well. He’s still guiding me on my way but I want to thank you Dr.Davis, for saving my face and life. Today is week 3 post-op. I cannot express in words how amazed I am with the whole process. I am in the healthcare field and was very diligent with my vetting of surgeons. After this experience, he is definitely the one I would send my family to. First of all, I had an extensive breathing problem with both nostrils resulting from a natural structural problem as well as a 15 year old fracture that I had never addressed. I was a bit of a scaredy-cat to even consider a surgical intervention. Dr. Davis and his entire team were kind, professional and understanding. I have never encountered a physician that has spent that much time with a patient to ensure all the questions were answered and the fears were addressed. And I spend my work days with many different doctors. After a 6 and a half hour meticulous surgery, I have had zero pain and about 4 days of minimal swelling. Even more unbelievably, this was all done without narcotics, but only with 7 days of constant ice packs to the face. This is annoying at worst but well worth the results. I am breathing better than I ever have in my life and it’s only going to get better as the weeks go on. As for the cosmetic side of things, I am in love with my results. I told Dr. Davis in the beginning that my biggest fear was not looking like myself anymore. He sat with me and photoshopped my images until I was happy. Side by side, my actual results are the same as the photos we agreed upon. Everyone who doesn't know I had surgery has been telling me how great I look, how much younger I look and how well rested I look. My advice to any patient is to strictly follow his recommendations post op. He knows what he is talking about. It definitely takes patience to be under an ice pack for that long but the results have been far beyond my expectations. I just kept saying I don't understand how I have had NO pain. We have known Dr. Davis for 3 years. I have nothing but good things to say about him as a person and as a doctor! I do not understand how he can get negative reviews. I makes no sense to me. My son had his first surgery done with Dr. Davis 3 years ago. It was very complicated and took 7 hours. Unfortunately, his body did not heal the way it should have and Dr. Davis stood behind his work and said he wanted to "fix" the problems that my son was having. I DO NOT in any way blame Dr. Davis with how my son's nose healed. He is a master at his craft and I trust him implicitly! A doctor has no control over how a patient's body is going to heal. 3 years later, Dr. Davis went back in to fix what seemed to have collapsed a bit. Little to everyone's surprise, my son's cartilage turned to bone! This is rare and obviously, not in Dr. Davis' control. The second surgery took 5 hours. Dr. Davis was not going to rush and wanted to make sure that he did everything in his power to assure that my son could breathe well. He absolutely cares about his patients and will go to great lengths to give them all the care they need. What doctor actually gives you his cell number and tells you to contact him with any questions? None that I know of! It has only been 10 days, but we are remaining positive that the healing process goes well this time. Again, this is not in Dr. Davis' control. It upsets me to read such awful words about Dr. Davis. He has a great bedside manner and is one of the BEST doctors I have ever been to. You know this is true when the nurses in the hospital tell you that you are in great hands. Dr. Davis is a surgeon who truly cares for his patients. I’ve had surgery with him and as difficult as my case was he still wanted to help me. I am biracial and my scarring has always been an issue i,e keloids. Taking me on as a patient was definitely a higher risk than most. He treats patients of all cultural backgrounds. Most surgeons are now concerned with just making money- Dr. Davis wants to truly help people. Many of the reviews are not accurate they are malicious attacks on his practice and character. I am in my 20s and well versed with popular surgeons and have had my fair share of elective procedures and he is still the doctor I decided to perform my operation. I had 2 surgeries before Dr Davis and was hopeless that I would ever have the nose I wanted after 2 failed attempts where my nose was worse than I started out with. I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful Dr Davis is! Not only do I have a perfect nose now (I get compliments all the time AND it looks natural), his care as a surgeon was impeccable. He has his background in academia so he takes the time to explain how everything works and why he does each detail of what he does. Our initial consult was over 2 hours long where he took pictures and even showed me exactly what my nose was look like after (and it does!). No other consult took that time and level of detail. The surgery center was amazing, very clean, they took great care of me. And the follow up appointments have been great. I have had around 5 surgeries in my life due to being born with cleft lip. My last one was around 10 years ago and I was left with a space that almost looked like a hole at the end of the bridge of my nose. The doctor had said that he did that so my nose could look “natural”. & of course that was not the case. I was also left with a scar and a sunken nostril. I decided to book a consultation with Dr.Davis and was left feeling so confident in him and his work. I ended up doing my final revision rhinoplasty with him and I was left in awe. Dr.Davis completely fixed not only the appearance of my face, but also my breathing. He left my nose looking as if I haven’t had any surgeries in the past and NATURAL. I’m in love with how my nose looks now and I can’t thank him enough for helping me. His work and skill is worth every penny.

I consider myself one of the lucky ones as my revision with Dr. Davis did nothing to improve my nose either functionally or aesthetically. It was a complete waste.

I had a lot of my nose removed between my eyes because of Merkel Cell Carcinoma. Dr. Davis doing the Reconstruction. It is going very very well!!! I am so happy with him as my surgeon. I still have more surgeries to go but an excellent start. It's amazing what he can do. Super nice guy too

Agree with the previous post of absolutely rude customer service was passed to two different reps that second one the most unprofessional I don’t see how they’re still going with no warm and welcoming staff .Too bad!Also there’s a $400 consultation fee with $10,000 for a quintessential nose job.

An attempted rhinoplasty revision with this guy left me with a crooked smile and an asymmetric deformity. Davis pays realself to remove all negative reviews, truth is all of his realself reviews are fake. This guy is experimenting on people’s noses and ruining lives. Go anywhere else or regret it for the rest of your life.

I had rhinoplasty with a different surgeon about 15 years ago and my nose collapsed. This caused great emotional pain. I was no table to get a revision due to cost and fear that the next doctor may not be able to fix it or make it worse. I am SO thankful that I found Dr. Davis. I traveled out of state to for my revision with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert at what he does. Although my nose is not perfect, (I wouldn't expect it to be) it's pretty darn close. He had a mess to work with and many doctors won't do revisions for this reason. Dr. Davis fixed my nose, but more importantly allowed me to move on with my life. I am extremely grateful. If I could give zero stars to this place I would. Not the dr bc I didn't get that far, but the customer service was terrible. I called Dr Davis' office 3 years ago and was told that there was a year waiting list and that I would be put on it. Almost a year later, I still hadn't received a call to confirm my appointment so I called in to make sure when the date was to be told by a very rude customer service rep that I didn't have an appointment. She then said that if I had called a year ago, I should've had my name put on the list, like it was fault, and that I would have to wait another year even tho someone in their office clearly didn't put me on it the first time I called in. She told me I could call to see if there were any cancellations but that's it. And that she doubted there would be. There was no apology, nothing. So basically I would be on a 2 year waiting list. I was so furious I decided to find someone else, I ended up going to dr Epstein who did an AMAZING job and everyone in his office is just AMAZING. This place JUST called to confirm my (2 year) appointment - which I totally forgot about and when I told her I had went to someone else, she literally hung up on me mid sentence. He is very nice at first, but once you present problems after surgery, he blames "allergies" or anything besides his result. He takes NO accountability and becomes rude. He assured us that my 16 year old grandson would have good results. It was a horrible experience. Not only did he NOT do what he said he was going to, he should be sued for malpractice in my opinion.
