Dr. Richard B Darr

Dr. Darr is more than a doctor. He is a healer who i've actually seen place his patients before himself. He has been a lifeline for my wife for 7 years. He has qualities that all geriatric physicians should have before considering practicing their craft.

Always good visits. He takes time to talk, explain, and listen. My last visit, my Cholesterol was up, but unlike other Dr's he said he didn't want to put me on any additional meds. You can call him, even his cell phone, and he talks with you He takes great care of my husband in the nursing home, and addresses any concerns I have.

Best geriatric Dr. Took excellent care of my mother for 10 years! Always called back when called. Always consulted us about any changes in treatment.

Dr. Darr visits nursing homes once a month but comes immediately if there is a problem and the home or family member calls him. Puts my 98-yr old Mom at ease with his gentle style. I am very impressed. I also go to him and am very confident in his skills and thorough explanations.

Would not recommend. Takes advantage of residents in nursing homes by visiting way too often so that he can keep the money rolling in. Doesn't listen to family members concerns. More concerned about covering his hind end when called out for bad behavior.

Dr. Darr is my mother's physician, and he is absolutely wonderful. Well-informed, efficient, compassionate, and always willing to make time to listen and to help. Dr. Darr truly cares about his patients and, as well,his patients' families. He offers exceptional professional expertise and generously demonstrates personal concern.
