Have been treated a patient of Dr. Costa for 40 years. He is the best and this is coming from an experienced healthcare provider. In my opinion, his character and integrity are beyond reproach. He is a kind, compassionate physician and has an excellent "bedside manner". It's difficult to believe any negative comments left here and I am thinking there must be more to the story than negative comments lead one to believe. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Costa is a very caring & responsive physician. He is very forthcoming & proactive. I had a hernia, he called & made an appointment with a surgeon for the next day. I was in the hospital hours later for emergency surgery due to hernia involvement with my appendix.
Dr. Costa is a rarity in today's environment who genuinely respects his patients as human beings, and has a holistic approach to treatment. We regret that he is no longer at Advocare.
Richard was great and meant to be my permanent family doctor. I donât know how it switched to Tyler S. After months of telling Tyler I wasnât feeling well etc, couldnât breathe he told me I donât have asthma (although he couldnât properly diagnose me because they do not have the proper equipment). I found out I have a tumor in my breast (Monday). Tyler never tried contacting me to discuss what was found even after giving him a second updated phone number. I never got a call. Secretary have nasty attitudes and will hang up on you. Iâm finally able to set an appointment (Thursday) after almost a whole week because of Tylerâs negligence. I will not be returning to this office. Changing my family doctor ASAP as my LIFE is nothing to play around with!
My mother talked with Dr. Costa about being congested and having chest pain. He said he would get her a prescription for the congestion and an inhaler for her asthma. That was on a Wednesday Monday the following week he still hadnât written the prescription after numerous calls to his office. My mother is an 80-year-old woman who needs to have her prescriptions in a timely fashion. I think it is absurd and irresponsible of a doctor to not follow through on patient care and to blatantly ignore her after her making several calls to his office.
Iâve been a patient of Dr Costaâs for 30 years and he treats me like family, very well qualified in all types of illness
I have been a patient of Dr. Costa's since 2015. I have had many different primary care physicians in my 40-some years of life and Dr. Costa is THE best. He is patient, caring, and incredibly intelligent. He takes time with his patients and doesn't rush you in and out of the office. The only Con--> Because Dr. Costa is so popular with his patients, you may be waiting awhile in the office for your appointment; he is worth it though.
