The doctor and assistant were great with my 2yr old child with an ingrown nail. I was so worried how they’d get it taken care of. We quickly held him down while the doctor trimmed it! Much better than I expected.

I would like to thank Dr. Childers and his staff for their excellent care. I had a surgical procedure on my big toenail 2 weeks ago and had my follow up appointment today. Even though I thought I was also scheduled for callous removal today, I wasn’t. Dr. Childers worked on my difficult callouses for far longer than I expected. It wasn’t until I checked out, that I discovered my mistake. Never did he rush or say he’d need me to come back in to finish another day. Thank you very much for taking such good care of my feet! Excellent visit with Dr Childers.

Dr. Childers is a wonderful doctor. He cares about his patience very much. He is very knowledgeable, personable and is very thorough with the job at hand. He has a very pleasant demeanor and I will definitely be a patient of his for as long as he is in practice. He has a wonderful office and his staff are very kind and professional as well. Parking is free and plentiful !! Wonderful practice!

I have seen him for 3 years now. Am a diabetic and I trust Dr Childers with my feet. He is honest and very nice. His wife saw me one time & I also like her.

After two surgeries my mom was left with a pain on her toe and his solution is to cut her toes off. Avoid Dr. Childers for surgeries.

Thank you Dr. Richard childers my feet are looking good........no more bunions for now......thank you to the staff up front very helpful and kind.....thank you for correcting my feet no more calluses on the bottom of my feet...

I was having lots of pain in my left foot. After properly diagnosing my condition, he performed surgery. He was very honest and open when discussing my care. His staff is very professional and courteous. It was like having a conversation with a friend. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is having problems with their feet. I will return to him on the future if the situation warrants it.

My name is Sally Greenwood I can’t say enough about Dr. Childers he is probably one of the most excellent doctors that I have seen . He listen and takes care of you. I’m so thankful that he was my doctor through my surgery ! I had went to numerous doctors for 8 to 9 months and he is the only one that took care of me. Thank you Dr. Childress.also his assistant Sheila is awesome very friendly gets right back to you when you call thank you for all that y’all do !

Dr Childers is amazing. Intelligent, great attitude and bedside manner and very good at his job. Can’t say enough good things about him. Decatur is lucky to have him.

Dr. Childers rocks! I felt like he had a good handle on my foot ailment, he made sure I knew exactly what to do to care for it, and I enjoyed talking to him. The only negative was that Google Maps (used by my Waze app) takes you to the wrong place 7 miles down the highway when you type in their address. Punch in Strutty's Feed Store in Boerne. I have been seeing DR.Childers for quite a few months now. I have to say this man is absolutely amazing From the moment I met him, I KNEW he was the Dr for me. Before I have been through 5 surgeries after a wreck, with another DR. I had a fusion and bone graft surgery yesterday, and He was absolutely amazing. He was all about saving everything he could with my ankle. IF YOU need a foot doctor THIS man is all you need. Best bedside manner, an he truly compassionately care about his patients! TY

Dr Childers was one of the most professional and well controlled bedside manner all around great physician that I have had out of 10 surgeries I would rate him as one of the best Expecially the attention to detail and knowledge and control he took in caring for my foot.
