Really knows what he’s talking about!

I had an initial appointment with this doctor. I have to say that he was the most thorough and professional doctor I have ever met , and I’ve met a lot. He spent several minutes examining me and talking with me. He addressed all issues I had concerns about. I would highly recommend him.

Nice doctor bur very rude staff. When I called I was even told by the front desk that my name has too many “H"s and difficult to pronounce. How ruder can they be?! Unbelievable

I find the front desk to be highly unfriendly sometimes rude.

I had numerous forms faxed which they claimed they never received. The Dr also refuse to converse for two minutes about an appt we already had for the purpose of insurance. Even after I offered to wait until he had time, understanding of his schedule. I waited for two hours.

Horrible practice with horrible staff, as others have mentioned. We can start with the front desk: sometimes they'll answer your call, but probably not. And if they do, they'll probably do everything they can to not help you. Experiences in the last couple months include that they told me one time (for a same-day appointment, so no notification), and booked me another, so I missed it. They once didn't give me my credit card back after I paid a co-pay (and lied when confronted -- I had walked to the practice and had nothing but my house keys and a single credit card). The list goes on. Then, in a recent practice re-shuffling, I fell between the cracks. They refused to fill my medication (that is a 2x a day, required medication), and after I had been transferred to Dr. Breier, took back their word and dropped me all-together. They now insist I agreed to follow my former Dr, which is completely untrue as she is no longer in the area. I suspect they are more overwhelmed with the transition than they anticipated, but that is no way to handle the situation. Because of Dr. Breier/his staff's unprofessional behaviour, I'm left scrambling to find a Dr. willing to fill a scheduled medication -- no small task in New Haven. I don't write reviews, but felt inspired to write this one after his staff called me for the second time today to berate me on the phone. My doctor recently passed away and I was recommended to Dr Brier. I would recommend him highly. He is very caring of his patients I was new he made me feel very comfortable and he answered all my questions. I had an emergency and they were able to fit me in to see him. I read a lot of comments more about the stuff then about him. I have had no issues with his staff and/or receptionist. He is my favorite doctor. He is kind, helpful, and just plain wonderful. I would highly recommend him. He always has time for my questions and truly cares about treating the whole patient. He accepts all insurances and researches everything. I am lucky to have found him.

Staff is rude, slow and terrible! A time sensitive form was faxed over and I asked if he could sign it that day and send it back! Hah! Five days later - still waiting!!!!

The staff here is very unprofessional and rude.

I have recently moved to the area and read very good reviews. Upon calling the office to make an appt for a new patient I was told that I would need to have a "registration form" mailed out to me. In this day and age they can't email a form or fill it out over the phone like most offices do? Ridiculous. This just ensured that I won't be visiting this office. Dr. Brier has been my physician for over 18 years. He is very caring, experienced and knowledgeable.

Called twice to make an appointment and left on hold for hour never picked up..horrible people who answer phone!!

I was taking a summer trip and he went to Disease Control of Connecticut and then he read that I need 2 shots for my trip so that's why he's really amazing if he doesn't he will find out so in my eyes I fine that being very resourceful so that why I give him a 5 stars in this review. .

dr breier is hands down one of the best doctors ! he actually cares about his patients. i would recommend him 10000000%. anytime i have an issue, he’ll get right on the phone. he’s definitely rare, i’m so thankful i found him !

Dr.Breir is extremely competent , professional , intelligent and sociable . I would recommend him to anyone who wants to receive thorough and exceptional medical care .
