The Dr did not know it was a follow up appointment. He never viewed the X-rays nor evaluated the patient. He immediately made a false diagnosis and was very arrogant not knowing I teach anatomy and biology. His bedside manners were very poor and told my 13 year old to stop crying when he diagnosed her with torn ligaments and needing yo sit out 30 days for PT to heal a torn ligament. I looked at him funny and the reply was “that’s a term we use in the medical field.” He then proceeded to tel me the other Dr. didn’t know what they were doing and that their diagnosis was incorrect. The 13 yr old picked up on the unprofessionalism I will not visit OIP again after this experience.

I love Dr. Boal. He is easy going, compassionate and a great surgeon! I was a little hesitant to have the surgery because I wasn't in excrutiating pain. But, here I am, one year later, able to do whatever I want. I can walk any distance without stopping and have even jogged a few times! He's great! I hope he enjoys a great retirement next year!!!
