Dr. RICARDO YOUNG failed to do his due diligence before surgery caising it to fail. The other Dr. At the office said he should have known about the possible issue ahead of time since it had been documented during a previous surgery. Afterwards he was callus didn't apologize. A year of prep ruined by negligence. Use a different surgeon for your weight loss surgery.

I thought about surgery for many years, but the “insurance industry requirements” always seemed such a hassle. My weight got so high it was drastically affecting my health and lifestyle. I new it was time to do something and start enjoying life again. I was lucky enough to find Dr. Ricardo Young and his “team” at Backus Hospital. They “navigated” all the insurance red tape and requirements and took care of everything. I had surgery on 01July2020 and was back to work on 06July2020. The surgery was performed flawlessly. I was up and walking immediately after the surgery without any pain or complications at all. Within two weeks, I was walking 5 miles a day and conquering multiple flights of stairs without loosing my breath. Weight loss is on track and all is going great! Dr. Young’s care for his patience is the epitome of a patient/doctor relationship. I would highly recommend you seek him out if you are thinking about Bariatric Surgery and enjoying life again. It’s a worthy journey!

My surgical experience with DR. Young was excellent. I had a complicated, emergency issue, which required surgery. Knowing all of that, which ,I didn't till after during my recuperation. If it had been a planned surgery, I definitely would request Dr. young to perform it.
