Wish he was still here. These other doctors want to dictate either you do this or I will be your doctor.

From 4/2014: Dr Saqer was my DR when all the BS happened with the STUPID PATIENT that tried to get meds from two different DRs whom was actually to blame. The FDA and DEA just tried to use him as an example...which was sad bc he has helped me tremendously with my pain levels. If injections didn't work, he would refer me to a DR, not give me stronger meds to bandaid the situation at hand. I was on adiquit pain meds, and if they didn't work, we would agree to change them...not increase them. Which he could've done at anytime, that is what he is a DR for, pain. His specialty is pain management. I've lived with pain since 2005, and while the lobby wait was as long it was, it was worth it. Dr. Saqer, out of ALL the pain management DRs I've seen, takes as much time to speak with you as needed. I remember we spoke for @ 30 to 45 minutes to find a solution. I have A LOT of different DRs appointments. About 60 in the last four months. And NONE of them except therapists have EVER spent that kind of time to talk about VERY important information, for example ALL 11 surgeries I've had. If he doesn't listen to you it is probably bc he deals with pill hungry people on a daily, so he knows how addicts act. Now that he can not write RXs, he will definitely KNOW the ones who just wanted pills. Dr. Saqer helped me, and not with pill!! As a caring pain DR. I was always helped by Dr. Saqer! While he was my doctor he was very active in my care! I never had a visit where he was not there or didn't see or talk with me! It's all the people who "fake" illnesses/pain to just to abuse the system and ruin it for the actual people who need medication/treatments/surgery! He had referred me to surgeon's to fix my issues! I happen to be one that the injections work on! I also didn't mind waiting! I actually went from a wheelchair to walking! He did in fact buy the pharmacy down from his office but I never used it. I was never asked to use his pharmacy! I've used the same pharmacy since I was a child. He never had a problem with that either! I was always helped by Dr. Saqer! DR Saqer is a great doctor. You might have a long wait in the lobby, but that's because he's, or his PA, is with a patient. One review talked about "steroid injections," which the doctor does, but only one day/week. He has spent as much as 90 minutes with me working to find a better treatment that just needs alone, acc because of this, my quality of life has been greatly improved. He doesn't run a pill mill. If he did, he wouldn't require patients to be drug tested any time he is prescribing meds. If he even suspects a patient is only looking for drugs he will kick them out! Although he owns multiple pharmacies, patients are not required to use them. I don't! And I've had no problems because of it! DR Saqer is a great doctor. This is not a Clean Environment it's a FILTHY PILL MILL and they made me wait 41/2 HOURS when I had a Scheduled Appointment one week in advance. I'm 37, but look young for my age. So when the Dr. finally saw me He said "What are you trying to pull, I am a Dr. and you could not be more than 22 years of age!" Then he KICKED ME OUT!
